Barthoon:Have you traveled all over Nigeria to ascertain this? I don't want to say you've "complex" issues ![]() |
joborskill:Those are the security of the top ranking officer in the last pic, what do you expect? If you've seen the security detail of an ordinary Nigerian police Mopol Commander you'll think otherwise |
linearity:I am not disagreeing with the fact that these companies gather & utilise consumer's info for their benefit, heck that's what Google was built on that's why they're the king of internet ads. But then if you have these views & strongly disapprove their actions then you might as well boycott their devices altogether, switch to core open source systems like Linux, sailfish os etc or better still design your own platform. Mac, Android os, iOS, old Windows versions & indeed Windows 10 are all the same in terms of acquiring data & using same (Fine print or not). People are not altogether oblivious of these so called "data harvesting" that's why they're urged to divulge as little information as possible. Lastly I say you're being paranoid coz you seem to put all your focus on Microsoft which is just new to the party, I bet you already own a Facebook account, use whatsapp & probably Instagram too. Do you know just about how much info Facebook alone already got on you? Now that almost all mega tech producers are switching to cloud computing & storage what will you have the consumers do? If you don't use these services which I doubt, then thumbs up coz you might be regressing to the stone age in a bit to protect your precious data. |
Emmaesty:Use this link to guide you on how to get the update ISO file downloaded & installed - http://www.howtogeek.com/225048/how-to-upgrade-from-windows-7-or-8-to-windows-10-right-now/ |
habdulafeez:Follow this guide, it contains how to activate your Windows & go about the update http://www.howtogeek.com/225048/how-to-upgrade-from-windows-7-or-8-to-windows-10-right-now/ |
linearity:You know this coz you work for both Apple & Microsoft right? Stop being paranoid! |
kevoh:Sorry, that definitely wasn't my intention. Just stated that coz most peeps dunno those kinda sites are the most malicious |
An0nimus:What's the error message? Am sure you can troubleshoot it, also what's the condition of your network? Mind you, you're not supposed to be running another antivirus programme if Windows defender is activated |
gambus007:Update your Wi-Fi drivers & every other driver for that matter to get all such issues fixed. In fact that's supposed to be the first step b4 the Windows 10 update even |
kevoh:Windows 10 has been in use for almost 2 years that's including is preview era, don't tell me hackers still haven't gotten a hang of it. Antivirus apps are overrated, I stopped using em since 2014 & solely rely on Windows defender and don't get any issues. Avoid phoney sites and you'll be home free |
claremont:True you can download the installer file but you can't install offline so therefore the deadline still persists |
AmuEwu:Am sure you're playing cracked games & probably got patches installed too. It's most likely caused by your antivirus or Windows defender coz they see the cracks & patches as viruses, malware. Solution: always install all your games in a single game folder then except that folder from being scanned by your antivirus/Windows defender or check your display drivers like someone pointed out |
gingger:It's got no security issues. I've used Windows defender from day one without another antivirus app installed & it's perfect |
$299 ![]() Thats more than 100k in naira using the present exchange rate, still too expensive for that spec. Obviously Blackberry has not learnt its Priv lesson |
Gptech:Nope, only once did I notice fingerprint failure issues like I used to observe when I was on stable rom but was fixed after the next update. Chinese dev roms get updates every week. |
bharkarh:I'll advice you visit & register at the official miui forum. Then checkout the section of your device so you'll be better guided http://en.miui.com/forum.php?mobile=2 |
harmbhrosz:If he's on developer rom then he'll get miui 8 update before you guys on stable or global rom. ![]() I know coz I've been rocking miui 8 for over a month now on Chinese dev rom. trust me it's more stable than the so-called "stable" rom |
Gptech:Updating your phone after root does no harm but makes you lose root. Personally I don't see the need to root since I experimented with it shortly after getting my note 3 |
Surprised the OP has not joined the bandwagon. I know guys who use it as their default call app, unless the person ain't in their whatsapp circle. If you have friends who use updated whatsapp versions, in good network areas & always online then I'll advise you use it to be calling them. The data rate is so cheap & voice clarity is so clear you'll pick ambient sounds like you were in the same room. I wonder why our networks are yet to have such voice clarity. |
See how you use your own hands to cause trouble for yourself. Do you use your device to store secured classified information? What's the need of the security wipe? |
Laid2001:You obviously dunno PH like you think you do. There's a First bank branch right beside Zenith |
Yes it'll, if you go back to sleep ![]() |
Why do people rush to subscribe data without checking how viable the network is in their area? All networks have this issue, depends on your location |
So you can afford to buy a phone but can't pay mere 50-100 bucks to get it charged at a business center ![]() It's not like the tiger batteries are even cheaper sef ![]() Heck! This is obvious "penny wise, pound foolish" decision |
elijahdre:Ok, I'll put a call thru to you |
NeilOssai:How about you display empathy for once? It's easy simply picking up your phone or computer, login here & type whatever you like. If you've ever been held FIVE whole months pay after duly carrying out your duties then you'll know that "khaki no be leather". Do you know what it entails spending almost half the entire year in anticipation, anxiety & worry because you've not been paid? Then someone sitting in the comfort of his air conditioned office says on radio that you're not been owed? I bet you if you've experienced only half of what the OP & others yet to be settled are going thru, you too will throw caution to the wind. These people got responsibilities & dependants like you. |
elijahdre:How much to get a redmi note 3 tampered glass down to PH? Plz respond, the one on the phone is cracked due to carelessness |
