Don't mind people always blaming government for everything and not being objective. If every worker in Nigeria demands for 100% increase in salary how will we be able to keep the country afloat. Are lecturers the only workers that's underpaid in Nigeria? The average doctor, banker, civil servant, driver etc are all underpaid in Nigeria compared to other countries of the world, if we all decide to go on strike over pay then nobody will work again.
Forget the narrative that ASUU is fighting for the students cos it's a lie. I've looked through their demands and it's all about their selfish interests.

You have nailed it my brother,and I'm afraid bringing in pdp to replace APC will make things worse and would be a vicious cycle. What I have noticed is that pdp is busy sharing positions before even getting to government and if they get there they will use the next four years for political patronage and compensation of the party leaders that brought them to power and the cycle continues.
The only thing that can save Nigeria now is if by some miracle Peter obi wins the election.

The military have changed strategy against bolo haram and should be commended. Displaying pictures to prove a point to pessimists and enemy of state like you changes or adds nothing to the fights. We don't want boko haram informants like you to see the pictures and know the location to bombard our military.

The UN secretary-general has been warning that the world is "one provocation or misunderstanding" away from nuclear crises& confrontations.
Yet the US choose to act this foolish even when Russia/Ukraine conflict is already causing alot& endangering the world's fragile peace.

This is one of the reason "woke" women in government should be prevented by all means....they act irrational & always wants to prove "stupid" points.
I believe that even Mr. Biden or Obama wouldn't embark of provocative foolishness.

The US can't afford to fight with 2 powerful world powers....even if all her allies(NATO) are involved.
It will be a lose/lose situation.

Let no one decieve the US, this is not WW1 or WW2 period and definitely not cold war era....these nations have become more powerful & formidable than ever and grown the same way the US has.
Huge military budgets, many bases& weapons systems are not all that makes a mighty army.
The US should stop living in "fool's paradise".

US &Allies should be held strictly to checks&balances by the rest of the world...they act with so much impunity.

It's a pity that a lot of uninformed & decieved folks go about showing support for every irresponsible behavior of the US.

A lot of Nigerians are dumb and would insult you for this post but you have nailed it in your analysis.

Lagos State is the highest voting state in the south for obvious reasons.

And account for Atleast 50% of the total votes of the South West.

But some people are mistaking it for Tinubu votes.

Osinbajo of the apc lost his polling unit to pdp in lekki in 2019.

That says it all.

Majority of you guys don't even know that lagosians don't vote. Yobe state had more voters than Lagos in the e last election talk less of kano, katsina or kaduna or borno. Lagos only have population but not voters. The total number of voters in lagos in 2019 is not up to 1m and thats for all the parties put together.

Mark this down today, the margin of winning in borno state alone will neutralize all PO votes from the South east. Pdp is non existent in that state and there's a sitting governor that's a protegy for shettima. While shettima himself is widely loved as a performing governor from that state. I won't be surprised to see a vote of Apc 1.5m and pdp 20000 from that state alone.
Tinubu is a master political strategist by picking shettima.

The day I gave up on Buhari was in ogun state during the last election. Where a sitting president said they should vote for him in presidential election and vote for whoever they like in governorship. Openly campaigning against his party to pacify amosun and couldn't take a stand and stamp his authority. Very weak president indeed. The thing is a good leader not even a president should have influence and charisma to do his bidding within his party but Buhari has zero influence. How then did we end up with Buhari as president when he doesn't even qualify to be a leader in the first place.

Christian Ronaldo is no doubt one of the finest footballers ever, but why are top European teams rejecting the offer to sign him by his agent.
As at the last count, PSG, Bayern Munich and Chelsea have all rejected the offer from his agent to sign him and he seems stuck with Manutd. Many reasons have been cited for wanting to leave Manutd but I suppose champions league football is a priority for him and I don't see how he will play ucl if no top European team want him.
I don't think the reason is financial because teams like Chelsea and PSG have the money if they really want a player but I suppose it's the impression that Ronaldo is selfish and only thinks about himself and not the teams success that's making top European teams look beyond him even though I still think he still has some football years left at 38.

Ignorance is killing a lot of you. Do you know that even your third party car insurance works if it's genuine ? I have used it to claim payment countless times when I get bashed. Majority of Nigerians have this it doesn't work mentality and then get shortchanged. Importers insure goods of billions on vessels and gets paid for damages if it happens how much more 500m.
If I am the government I won't give them a dime to teach them a lesson. How can you be doing business on perishable goods without insurance.
