You sound crazy. It is obvious you are a liar. So there are Yoruba's in your group who didnt get the promotion but she did, all the way from food and beverages. You are angry even though you are not the only one qualified in your group, so you come here and claim tribalism. With your type of attitude and disjointed reasoning i see why you are still a cashier. My sister's bbm. grin grin grin grin cheesy. I can buy you BIS for 5 years.

adami48: how can u explain this, a lady from cross river state was employed 2003 as a cashier in the account department, shes been working there ever since, shes worked in diferent section in the account department and shes a graduate, 4 years a yoruba girl was employed, she was employed as a casual in the f/b department, after some months she was now giving a contract position dats a contract staff, she ran a per-time programme and then graduated some last year or so, shes worked in the f/b department all through but right now shes been made the cashier manager ahead of all the otherv people who ve been there 5 years b4 she came, plss explain this to me?
no experience in the field yet shes heading the department, likewise most deprtments we have the H.O.D with less or no experince and heading a department ahead of doz dat knew the job all cos they are yorubas plss explain
So all the other people she was made manager above, there is no single Yoruba person in that group? The group you are claiming to belong to. If you have a problem with the girl personally why dont you report your findings to your manager rather than trying to tarnish someone else's business online. do you think with this story they dont know who you are? What makes you think that girl is not better at her job than you and the others? What is f/b department?
Politics › Re: Thieves Break In To Kwara Ministry Of Finance by 2mch(m): 4:37pm On Oct 11, 2012
Burglars have made an unprecedented break-in at the Kwara State Ministry of Finance, carting away undisclosed amounts of money as well as all documents, including their electronic backups, which detailed government transactions since 2003.

A top government functionary told SaharaReporters that the burglars first attempted to break into the
Accountant General’s office in the Ministry in the early hours of Friday, September 21, but the guards and the burglary-proof doors foiled the attack.
The attackers returned on Saturday night armed with different tools grenades and even a power generator with which they broke into the offices where the documents and money were kept, the source said.

The burglary, coming amid numerous investigations into the tenure of former Governor Bukola Sarakis in Kwara State, the SUBEB funds, as well as police claims in the N9.2b loan scam that Saraki used shares bought with state funds to stand surety for his private company are lending credence to the speculations of a cover up.
Saraki has denied any wrongdoing in the case, which he labels as political blackmail being sponsored by his traducers.

The police are yet to charge him in the case, but the Police Commissioner heading the Special Fraud Unit (SFU), Mr Tunde Ogunsakin, was reported as saying recently that investigations into the case have reached top gear and that it will soon be charged to court.
This is an open and shut case. The place was robbed two days earlier, no security was increased in the area. Then they came to rob with generator. In the accountant general's office, where sensitive financial information are kept. You want to tell me they did not hear a grenade or generator. na wa o. This is unbelievable. I guess the thieves share is the money they stole. This is obviously shameless. So obvious and they are wondering who to suspect. naija na wa o. abracadabra. shocked shocked shocked

Politics › Re: Oshiomhole Fires 20 Teachers In Edo For Absenteeism by 2mch(m): 4:05pm On Oct 11, 2012
Very good. Too many lazy people in Nigeria. No wonder the kids are failing. When the teachers are absent, how are the kids going to lern? Who will teach? If they have other business keeping them away from work, now they have plenty time on their hands to attend to their various businesses. I think teachers all over the country should take assessment tests in their field of work. A lot of their qualifications are in very big doubt. Especially for government schools. Some cant even speak english or express themselves. Some dont even know what they are teaching.

People should stop entering peoples houses and terrorizing them. If you are hungry go and camp outside aso rock. Everyone is facing hard times these days. Face the people putting you in poverty. It is not only what is stolen, but the experience is life altering. In your selfishness, you change someone else's life for the worse. If you have two hands and two feet, go and find a job. Lazy, greedy things. See the poor man they are even robbing. These students again. It is only a matter of time before they kill.

Katsumoto: Dude,

You know this is not your village square or a pub where you share tales with fellow illiterates and ignorant folks.

What do you have to support the points you are making?

We know Fela's mum was killed by unknown soldiers (that's what the official report concluded). The bigger question is, 'what were soldiers doing in Fela's house for an issue that was a police matter?

Just like all entertainment venues, you will find both the dregs and cream of society. It is impossible to use class or societal hierarchies to enforce admittance to events.

But I am not expecting you to reason along these lines because bigotry is heating you up plus you don't have the intellect to analyze these issues.
You are arguing with Andre Uweh. You must have too much time today. undecided

It is a private company and not a government company. i dont believe you by the way OP. Anyone that misbehaves tries to shift blame and blame everyone but themselves for their misfortune. If you take this attitude to another company, you will lose your job again. I find the reverse is the case actually. Other tribes especially Igbo's are more tribalistic in companies both federal and private.
Politics › Re: Boko-Haram Denies Responsibility For Mubi Killings by 2mch(m): 11:56pm On Oct 09, 2012
Of course their fellow students would have done this execution. Either that or a new branch of boko haram. We know that SUG elections were going on. We also know that most of the students killed had Christian names. This was a pure execution of opponents or people perceived as threats. The little ones are learning fast from the politicians. But who can blame them? When the politicians use these kids as assasins anyway. What a fu*cked up country. I bet their parents will believe they are angels that can't piss straight yet.
Education › Re: Humble Advice To Nigerian Students, Pls, Pls Read!!!... by 2mch(m): 9:12pm On Oct 09, 2012
This is a very good thread OP. And we have to understand that the parents are to blame. Children see their parents steal and embezzle, the parents even rationalize it and praise their friends who are doing it. They put too much emphasis on money. Your child comes home with a brand new car, when you know you cannot afford Okada. yet you sing and dance. They never think of how many people committed suicide, who was raped or killed for their son to drive the car. Before your daughter can marry a man, you demand the man buys things that even you cannot buy. All sorts that parents enable out of deep poverty. The whole system needs to be cleansed. Dispossessing people of their hard earned money, so that you can blow it indiscriminately will never bring you good luck. This includes robbers, yahoo boys, yahoo plus and other vices. Even if you dont experience the effects today, karma never leaves us alone. It is better to put all the energy and anger towards the government who are responsible for where you are today, than to unleash suffering on suffering and struggling Nigerians like you. If they lash out, out of frustration then you have to understand.

Katsumoto: I noticed that you referenced "The Bank Notes of Biafra" written by Symes.

If there was an exchange mechanism for the exchange of Biafran notes for the Nigerian notes, what were you expecting the Nigerian government to do with the Biafran notes once the exchange was completed?

It has estimated that between there was between 115 and 140 million pounds in Biafran currency at the end of the war and there were approximately 14 million Biafrans giving a value of 10 pounds per Biafran. Yet, each depositor was given 20 pounds. Assuming that kids did not have accounts, there would have been approximately 7/8 million depositors leading to a total sum of 140/160 million spent by Awo.

The Nigerian government also allowed old Nigerian notes and Biafran notes to be exchange for Nigerian currency until the end of 1968 and each individual depositor was given a maximum of 30 pounds and 500 pounds for organizations.

Lastly, when questioned about acceptability and exchange rates, Pius Okigbo stated publicly that both factors were irrelevant since Biafran notes were meant to be spent within Biafra.

On the basis of the above and my first post, I can find no fault with Awo's policy.
You forgot to factor in the fact that most of the adult population probably did not have a bank account at the time. So they got free money they were not entitled to. But still we hear complaints. Most Nigerian's back then were rural, and still living in their villages. Keeping their savings under their beds. undecided.

Are we sure he was not pushed or thrown? Proper investigation should be done first before we conclude. Who was he, and what was he doing in the secretariat? So much suffering in Nigeria. More pity should be on those that inflict the suffering. Their own suffering will not be quantified when it starts.

My sentiments exactly. One day though, this will gradually reach a tipping point. Those feeling comfortable away from the menace of crime that regular citizens experience everyday, will one day face this same mob who will demand justice for injustice. If this is not a wake up call to those in power i dont know what is. See what they have turned Nigerians into. it is only a matter of time. Those feigning outrage have participated in this and supported it one time or the other. They are just ashamed that the whole world got to see it. So they have to act human. It is a jungle out there in Nigeria. If the government cant do its job, the citizens will do it. I dont see this stopping any time soon. Shebi na una get access to internet dey form outrage. The people that cant afford it, will actually change their views on jungle justice from the outcry? I dont think so. undecided. Ususally jungle justice takes about 5mins and everyone scatters. This just happened in a community, so we can point fingers. Majority happen in a flash mob type sequence. For kleptomaniacs try to control yourself in Nigeria. undecided. Students, face your school and leave cults alone. Nothing to be gained, absolutely nothing.

They better go and sit down somewhere and let police handle the matter. The people pushing them to kill will not be there when they are mobbed. No matter what they cannot know the place better than the villagers. The villagers have already shown that they can be ruthless. Students should stay in school and stop joining associations/cults that can lead to your death. Nothing to be gained from cults except a very fu*cked up life, no matter how many times you repent. When your parents send you to school, stay there and be content with what and who you are no matter what.
