Yes, I still stand on the parenting issue. I have a brother that all these boys cannot stand up to ever in their life on ability and propensity for being bad. But the father I had will rather kill the child than to bring disgrace to his name like this. I tell you, the evil spirit ran away from that brother very fast. Yes, parents play a very huge role. When you have a father that can punch your eyes out in public and is even a bigger rascal than you. You no go try cult or thief. If you still feel you are too much, the newspaper heading the next morning will be an announcement of you being disowned, with a statement of all your atrocities. There are parents and there are parents. undecided

playah P: "Okay; I was thinking there would be revenge killings but here is the decision that was taken"

I thank one and all for our patience and forbearance at this very trying period in the history of our brotherhood.

Our hearts are still very heavy from the sad events of yesterday morning that have rocked the foundation of our organisation and challenged everything we stand for.

mi Ds + S, what happened was a complete tragedy, a situation that could have been completely avoided. It leaves one with mixed emotions of sadness, anger, betrayal and we are determined to not let the matter lie there.

The BOB, after an extraordinary meeting last night have agreed the following course of action to start with immediate effect:

1. A one week period of mourning for the Sons. Their names would be released in time.

2. An immediate call has been placed for the Police to arrest the culprits and put them before our Courts - their faces are all over the Internet. This would be coordinated by DSC.

3. A call to all the Student Unions of all Universities to support a day of action calling for an investigation into the mindless murder of young University undergraduates - DSC

4. A call to the Nigerian Bar Association to support a call for a Judicial Enquiry into the murders.

5 A call to the Rep for the area, the Reps responsible for the Sons constituencies and the Mayor of PH to raise the matter with the @@@@@(intentionaly removed) which we are already doing and he has been very supportive. We intend to seek a review into the murders and punish those guilty of their deaths.

5. The setting up of a fund for the families of the deceased to be coordinated by Don G - Details of this later

More details of this would be released later and we would all be called upon for our support as the events unfold, especially when the details of the day of action are finalised.

There no doubt is the need for some internal measures to be taken as lessons have been learnt from this experience. Details of these would be announced later.

In the meantime, please let us continue to maintain the decorum and maturity we have so far shown and remember that we are all in mourning for our dearly departed.

It is understandable to seek out for blood but we have to maintain order. This is where we show our strength in restraint and shun all calls from any sub-regional dons for an out-right attack on the innocent people of aluu village.

Please let us remember them and their families in our prayers, let us know they were innocent of any blame and that they died innocent of the crime they were accused of.

We are determined to work together as a unified group to make sure they did not die in vain.
You sure do have a feeling of self importance. When the people of Aluu were sufferring over the incessant attacks. Their wives and girl children being molested and traumatized. Their men being humiliated and debased, what did your cult group advise its members? What did the government or police do about it? The people have decided to take the matter into their own hands, and they have every right. In a country where lawlessness prevails and only robbers and armed forces have access to weapons, the people have every right to create their own courts and dispense justice. Traditional laws are still recognised in Nigeria. Next time when you send little boys on a mission, remember if they die, the blood will be forever on your hands. Should anyone try to take any action on the villagers, if you are all wiped out in that school, nothing will happen. They can rain hell on your school and close it down. How dare you even insinuate that it is okay for people to be terrorized on their ancestral homes by stupid, greedy, twats. Their parents should go and bury their dead. The dead body they will carry is a reflection of their wonderful parenting. No responsible parent will breed a cultist or a thief. The sins of the fathers come to mind here. Who knows what the fathers have done in the dark, for shame to be metted on them for generations like this. Some family members will have to change name now. grin

I have witnessed and been a victim to these small boys and robbery. Always trying to live a fast life at the expense of the peace and hapiness of others. I really don't give a Sh*it what happened to them to be honest. If they were not killed, they would have regrouped and come back. Evidence of bad home training. When your don't train your kids, others will train them outside for you. SMH. May they explain to their maker. The psychological and emotional trauma caused by these twats, this is very worth it. They are the future Odili's and co. Or how do you think those ones started, and have the balls to do what they do today? Na like dis na. undecided

This is on the conscience of those who insist abortion is not a choice. I would rather the child had not been born than to do this. Nigerian's should stop making abortion such a bad thing. People should have a choice. JUst like they are displaying their choice by doing this. I also thing the federal government needs to sensitize the public on where they can drop unwanted babies safely. Let us be careful on this forum how we preach certain things. Who knows who might be reading.

Thank you all for your advice. Hope to hear more. I have sleepless nights because of her.
Well you are the closest to her, talk to her and be there for her. If she wants to talk, just listen. Yes, it will have changed her perception on life and relationships. but that is life, we all learn. And let her learn from her mistakes. It is all part of being an adult. Its better learnt now in a broken relationship, than being married or being pregnant for such.

Give her time, she will get over it. It is all a part of life. Trust she has learnt her lessons and is wiser. Never give what you cant afford to lose. No need playing wifey until you are really married.

you really dont want to start a marriage on the wrong foot. And i wonder why people insist on marrying from families who openly consult suspicious elements. That is enough for you to run for dear life. Parental consent is very important. If they dont want you, then for your own good stay away. If they are adamant, leave their child alone. In the future when you have problems this issue will come up again. And it leaves room for one partner to have supporters who can easily break your marriage.

Even if we were to go by culture Bianca and kids are not entitled to anything, as Ojukwu has older kids. Lmao. See set up. I think Ojukwu's father's property should be equitably divided by all the father's kids. While Bianca and Ojukwu's other children fight over Ojukwu's share. You can't because you are the only legal child take all the property except it is stipulated in a will. If it was never in a will, then that was not the owners intention. Even if he takes over the properties it would have been his duty to ensure all the kids were adequately taken care of. This will be a bitter battle. I personally would not gree sha. undecided. Bianca married for money, now the money is gone. She has been scammed to be a nanny. grin

I thought they were destroying the slums. They should destroy it. Those people living on the water are creating a health risk for all Lagos residents. Demolish, and arrest illegal immigrants. They are too many there adding to the filth and chaos. Imagine. huh.Later they will be yabbing Nigerians. If you cant pay rent, stay in your fathers house.

rotflmao. Funny thread.I wonder why the governor is angry being that they are not Anambra people. He is going to report to the president? Errrhuh The president didnt appoint fashola. And those in Abuja practise the same thing. LMAO.Maybe if the governor actually didhis work, Lagos will not have this issue. It is time for Gov Obi to spend on the people, and rehabilitate those who were brought back and stop making unnecessary noise. If you find any Lagosian being a nuisance in Anambra, by all means give him/her free transportation back. Lagos's image is very important for investment, not only Abuja. Destitutes will be given a choice. Get a ride back home or go to jail. tongue

Marry who you love. Nigerians are marrying for all the wrong reasons. When they finally see who they love, they abandone their marriages.FACT. Never make the mistake of marrying for something other than the one you cant live without. If you have not found the person and the person has not found you, you are not ready. wink

Germannig: One of the deported said she is a computer operator who was arrested on the street while walking to her destination. What do you say about that? Or is a computer operator now also a destitute?
Yahoo boys call themselves computer scientist, computer programmers etc. So what's your point? They run from their villages where they are afraid to demand things from their governors, run to Lagos and develop shacks and start fighting to live there. Becoming an absolute nuisance. Lagos cannot take up the responsibility of other state governments who keep spending and living lavishly. Go and fight for your right in your state.
Politics › Re: Fasola Of Lagos Is A Selective Deporter Of Fellow Nigerians by 2mch(m): 4:59pm On Sep 26, 2012
Not everybody can live in Lagos. If you come to Lagos with no residence and plan to lay on the road pending when you are able to join a gang of robbers for fast money, then you will be given free transportation back home. Living in the city is not for every one. rural life is stress free, fresh and more rewarding. Even our rural areas in Lagos have become jam packed. We have no peaceful place or villa homes, where we can go and rest without seeing 1million people. cry cry cry. Try and stay in your village and develop it. If you have no job in Lagos or anything tangible to do, dont come and become a nuisance begging all over the place. undecided
Islam › Re: I Am A Muslim by 2mch(m): 4:26pm On Sep 26, 2012
sino: I can be a monster, the devil himself, there is so much evil i can possibly do,
But, i'll rather be an angel, nay, a human, a man who is envied and respected by the angels.

The world is my stage, my power knows no limit; everything on earth, to me, subservient;
Still, i am just, balanced, never to the extremes, for i rule by the sharia; the law divine.

I am me in front of a tyrant, when faced with adversity or great misfortune, i show no fear nor grieve for i have faith and i pray.

I am patient and calm, sometimes, docile as a dove; for i have been told: success is for those who patiently preserve.

I am a lion, bold and fierce, my enemies quiver at my presence, yet, i show compassion...

Even though i am being misrepresented by unscrupulous few, i remain true; dedicated to the truth.

I am a part of a new world order, one which gaurantees a lasting peace to planet earth.

Who am i? you ask...
I am a Muslim, one who submits to the creator with hope and fear of meeting with Him at the end of the day.
Is this a positive poem or a yab to muslims? All i see is intolerance and a propensity for violence. Not putting your religion in a good light, you are rather justifying people's stereotypes.

Politics › Re: Madam Aviation And The President’s Friends by 2mch(m): 12:41pm On Sep 26, 2012
People should start recording conversations with politicians. When they are afraid of the unknown they will sit up. This controversy about Arik and Air Nigeria, Jimoh does not have a good track record with managing businesses. He runs them like a provision shop. While Arik is fast becoming a suspiciously cheaply maintained, international disaster waiting to happen. Until we increase the standards our carriers are held by, and consider the human factor. We will have the wrong people in this industry. Any allegation that the finance minister asked for a stake should be thoroughly investigated. If found wanting, she should be dismissed. I don't support the idea of a national carrier. Anything national we have done has been a big failure. Let the people who can handle the business, and work with social and corporate responsibility in mind do so.

The people that saw them come off a bus did not ask where they were coming from, and why they were returned. If they were returned wrongly am sure they would have gone to the press to complain. Who knows, they could have been part of the recently released criminals who were pardoned for awaiting trial too long, and needed a ride home. Or they may have been beggars. The story is full of holes. I wonder why a so called governor will come to the press to give unclear stories.

Until africans form their own union or bloc and all tribes come together to redefine their territories and express their right to choose the country they want to belong in, this will keep happening. For those using the biafra angle you are just trying to be noticed. The whole African continent was a spoil of war.It was divided the by the Europeans, and agreements were made without the consent of the people. Until we decide to redraw out maps by tribe and associated tribes, this will keep happening. The whole Europe is divided into countries according to ethnic groups or groups of clans.

Anyone that kills police under these circumstance should face firing squad. While the person that confessed should get life imprisonment. They should put a bounty on the others at large. Am sure these ones won't come out alive from jail any way. Terrorizing the SW. Na wa o. Why are OPC becoming less empowered by the SW govts? They need to take action and support them adequately. Nigerian police is not enough. Kudos to the person that overheard and reported them.
