LMAO.... but but but, i thought PDP goons said PDP had accepted its fate. See PDP crying and weeping over Ondo Elections. When will they finally realize that they are finished in the SW and about to be finished in Nigeria by 2015? Rome fell, who is PDP? Abeg gba 2nd runner up trophy, that we know there was some rigging involved there.
Politics › Re: Have You Ever Been Ashamed Of Being A Nigerian? by 2mch(m): 5:45am On Oct 24, 2012
Being Nigerian is a terrible liability. The worst of it all is when you try to point out the criminals, they don't even look well-fed upon all the billions they steal, they don't look better than poverty stricken Nigerians. lipsrsealed cry. The truth is the country is a total and abysmal failure. Absolutely nothing to be proud of or patriotic about. Those looking for a future in finance abroad, avoid any links with Nigeria. Just claim Gabon, Cameroon or Sierra leone. If you say naija for life, when hunger strikes you go die o. Truth is bitter.

Politics › Re: Aviation: Storm Over Ethnic Agenda by 2mch(m): 7:33pm On Oct 22, 2012
Interesting

The matter should be investigated, if true then she should be sacked. This is the wrong precedence and GEJ will kill his political career with this sentimental BS.He should ask IBB. This is outrightly unacceptable. You cannot tell me there are no top officials that were ibo too? Very stupid woman, replacing someone with 20yr experience with someone with 4yr experience. How does that make sense? Same thing Okojo Iweala and Akunyili did. In 2yrs the minister will be changed and all these ones sacked. undecided. At the most.

Nice one. PDP is dead in the SW. The faster the goons on this thread realise this and face GEJ for their woes, the better for their health. Ride on O'Beaf. There are naturally fed cows that don't have to cause others deaths or take their livelihood. Next is to ban cattle roaming in the state. Rankadede cool

His house is a short fence, something you rarely see from a nigerian politician, he is humble and have so many certificate. My dad still have a pict of ekwueme and him during as a brigade boys. I know this man too well and i disagree totally with you op! To say most educated in my village alone is an insult talkmore of anambra, igboland then the whole east! I totally disagree. He isnt even that rich! I can count five ppl richer than him in oko talkmore of anambra. He may be so influencial than most because of his former position but education, i totally disagreeeeeeeeeee!
Why are you talking about money when the discussion is education? Are you insulting the man because he is not a thief and a criminal? If they robbed the country blind like our present politicians will you even know what a school looks like? Not everyone thinks having obscene money makes them someone. His name will always open doors where your money cannot reach. Mumu. Which school you go sef? You sound like an ESUT student.

Do people purchse husbands? Because this is the only rational i have for this OP's partner. You must have bought this in the night, in a strange market. It looks like your spouse has another family somewhere, this is why you are seen every 2months and you are not carrying your burden adequately. You see, it is hard to support two families, comfortable or not. Money problems make people go wacko. Maybe you should go and stay in the other African country for a month or on your next leave. undecided
Are you a psychic? How do you know my tribe?

They were hunted and killed by Hausa/Fulani soldiers, not the people. However, pogroms in the North were done by the civilians - and the massacres in the mid-west were done by the civilian mobs.

Have you watched the Biafran War story video on youtube? Ojukwu alluded to that in his own words during an interview..

I can't argue about that policy, and Awolowo was just a member of the cabinet. If Gowon had said, NO, I don't think he would have proceeded with it - so why blame only Awolowo? And what's wrong with the £20 policy for all, anyway?

What hidden agenda? The same man that was in prison when everything that led to the war took place, no? Did he declare war against Biafra? You guys need to calm down before you end up losing out - you're fighting a wrong war.
I have a question about this 20 pound issue. Excuse me, but how many Nigerian's had bank accounts then? Were some people really entitled to that 20 pounds? So why are we hearing screams that people lost money? Majority of Nigerians were illiterate or first generation students/literates. WTF. Dont open another can of worms.
Politics › Re: Guess Who Is Not Going To Be The Winner Of The Nobel For Litrature Tomorrow..... by 2mch(m): 10:17pm On Oct 11, 2012
I'm an old head on NL - but I just became 'born again' to represent the message of Malcolm X... Can any of my Igbo friends answer the questions I posted on another thread yesterday?

Questions:

Not taking sides - I have read everything about the alleged "genocide" and "pogroms" against Igbos. From the pogroms North and Middle Belt, to the massacre of Igbo civilians in the Mid-West, and abandoned properties in the East(among minority tribes). However, it seems Igbos had a safe haven in the West because nothing happened to them over there. But why has the after-war rancour been between Yorubas and Igbos? Since Yoruba civilians never did anything harmful to Igbos - before, during, and after the war?

I understand the use of blockade by Awolowo and his justification for using it, since it's legal in that context. And the refusal of Ojukwu to allow humanitarian aids, without landing fees. But how does that translate into "domination" and "hatred" of the Igbo ethnic group by their Yoruba counterpart. One may argue that less than 1% of Yorubas took part in the war, and that represents absolute nothing compared to others.

Can any Igbo man/woman explain to me why The Yorubas have to be the only ones being questioned and ridiculed about the spoils of the Biafran War?
The Igbo's on NL want us to believe they only respect those who humiliate and kill them. Not those who treat them like human beings. This is very sick and my observation. They are very terrified of the tribes that committed crimes against them. undecided
