Agriculture › Re: Is It Time To Embrace GMO Food? by 2mch(m): 4:27pm On Apr 02, 2024
No need for GMO. If you keep accepting anything an outsider presents to you, they can severely undermine your food security. They are also smart enough to know that these people are not offering these seeds for free. It always comes at a cost, either to the detriment of the health of citizens, or future dependence on these companies for their grain. The Earth has given us food in abundance. Learn to plant and store at least 20% as grain

Nearly every country in west African has an egusi variant .
Cameroun, Togo, Ghana etc
Cause Yoruba took it there. Many Yoruba in Togo and Ghana. A lot of Cameroonians live in and out of Nigeria so they carry the knowledge of our foods. They eat a lot of soups we eat in Nigeria. Especially South South soups which are closer to them. Those soups are not theirs originally.

DIVINEEVIDENCE:
Everyone eats rice in Nigeria, but we all know rice is not indigenous to Nigeria.

It's easy to identify Yoruba people on this forum.
Just post any threat about Igbos and you can rest assured that 90% of all bitter comments would be posted by Youruba sons and daughters.

Blind hatred abhors sound judgement.

Tufiakwa!
Rice is from Nigeria too. We have Ofada remember?

Travel › Re: Airfares Drop As Foreign Carriers Unblock Low-priced Tickets by 2mch(m): 4:07pm On Mar 31, 2024
So what happens to the hiked up prices they have been getting away with for at least 10yrs? Traveling from the west to China is cheaper than the west to Nigeria. These airlines need to be heavily penalized and fined for extorting Nigerians trying to go home on holiday which will even help the economy. The FG should really monitor the airfares and put in regulation. If they don’t like it they can exit the route.

The airfares are still high.

Northerners, save Nigeria and stop marrying your first cousins. A lot of your children are simply very maddd! It’s one thing having mad family members but when you marry yourself and give birth to more mad people in society.

Killing important people like farmers is the maddest anybody can be.

If you need something to break your heart you don't have to go as far as Fiji. There are children suffering way more than this in every corner of your own country.
What have you done to help your children in your country. In your country? Or your job is just to come online and tarnish your country image? Even Fijians do not attach suffering to this.

Imagine how useless a man has to be to bash his country online. He probably took that attitude abroad bashing his root. They will look at him as a nobody that if he die, he kuku denounce his roots and nobody will be looking for him. LOL. They will even put him in the most dangerous jobs and on the front line because he is desperate.

Never renounce your root or show desperation. You are easy target for enemies. You have no pride, no shame and no honor.

Nigerians always think if they talk bad about other Nigerians or Nigeria to others that somehow those ones will see them differently. LMAO.
Politics › Re: Impeachment: Edo CJ Constitutes 7-man Panel To Probe Dep-Gov, Philip Shaibu by 2mch(m): 3:53pm On Mar 23, 2024
Tinubu need to demand that the CJ of the Supreme Court constitute a judicial panel for judicial review of judgments by judges. And a biannual review of conduct and practices of judges that go against our constitution. Corrupt ones also should be thoroughly investigated.

Those guys give nonsense and corrupt rulings but nobody holds them responsible. The corrupt ones should be sacked and jailed. I wonder why any judge will put their hand in this rubbish witch hunt case.

Yea right. Story for the God’s. So is her life better now cause she’s earning more? Makes your statement false because she’s earning more does not make her richer than the aunt in Nigeria. She spends a lot more to survive.

I don't know what IFRS that banks are using but according to the standard, revaluation gain can only be recognized in the comprehensive income which will form part of equity. So it can never be used as dividend.
U can only recognize revaluation loss in the income statement.
It’s not Revaluation gain but Realized Gain which is part of Revenue on the income statement. It is classified under Other Income, olodo rabata.

The rail to Niger is nothing but a pathway to terrorism into Nigeria from the Middle East. There is no viable use for it as Niger has not shown stability or the ability to secure their own country. They better return this foolish loan and open all the borders including Cotonou for products that have become expensive.

So how many 50KG bags of rice or beans will your neighborhood farm give you? And how many bags do you consume in a month? You'll use your blokos to feed the birds abi?

So assuming you were president, that's your own solution of ending hunger?

And you go de insult Tinubu every 5 seconds.

I de shame for you walahi
You can fill in the gaps of nutrition that way. By the way, the whole world is going through a general increase in price in the market. Till things come down or stabilize, it is advisable to have a garden. No be only rice and beans person go wait to chop. There are other types of beans like green beans that can be easily grown too.
Politics › Re: The Easiest Way To End Hunger - Turn Your Compound To A Farm! by 2mch(m): 2:08am On Feb 28, 2024
I personally cannot live anywhere I don’t have fruit tree and even garden. That is how I grew up. There was nothing like buying fruit in our house, the children just climb the tree and eat up there, bring whatever they can pluck inside the house. Vegetable yapa.

Just buy salt and plenty dry fish and store. The rest is possible and easy. Potato is the easiest to plant and can grow anywhere. It even starts growing if you leave it alone.

Just shut up and stop comparing great America with Nigeria.
First, there is a saying that goes this way, " when a flying bird flaps its wings, you will know the tree it will perch."
Tinibu said he is cutting the cost of government, yet he goes to a fucking meeting with 1k people including people who have no business with the trip. Mind you, all their expensive hotel accommodations and estacodes/ allowance are covered by public money.
How is this cutting the cost of governance?
Trump family or Biden son, can never be sponsored with taxpayers money, the system won't approve that. The president can't lay hands on money, there are agencies and offices that take care of that.
The bribe you hear in the govt here is, kickbacks, gifts and donations, not that someone steals from public purse. No that.
America is rich and don't beg for money, but una country want to go beg qatar for money dey carry 1k people dey go, how will dey see them.
Imagine person wan come beg you for money carry IPhone show up?
If you are poor coming to beg money, come like a poor man.
Everybody is talking. Church rat show face.

Uneducated, piss-poor, internet rats with their woo-woo takes again. Trump was heavily criticized by the country for employing his son-in-law, Jared, in the White House. And his kids did no deals for America, because they were not authorized to, and do not work for the American government. It was his daughter in fact who got plenty patents for HERSELF from the Chinese government as a result of her father's influence.
You are insane. You confuse me for your father. Google might help you idiot. Who was Jared Kushner before Trump became President? A spoilt nobody who married Trumps daughter. You better be sure before you come to a Nigerian forum to talk nonsense you think we are as stupid as you and all your family members here?

It is true their children can do what they want ... but there are consequences. Spending taxpayers money for non official matter is a ticket to prison. Normal thing abroad?
What you are posting is nothing. Trumps Son-inlaw was unofficial foreign minister when he was President. His daughter and sons had more say than the VP and nothing has happened to them till date. Nothing is happening to Hunter either. Trump is just being witchhaunted but he will still become the President of America.

I will not support Tinubu appointing his son’s in any capacity. But just occupying empty seats in private jet is not really a big deal. When their father is on official visits they will probably stay in the same house and eat the same meals. I don’t see the big deal.
