Pls house, i went to the market to get a system today, i went there with the aim of getting a levono thinkpad as it was suggested for me, but i couldn't see any, tho i was offered hp elitebook folio 1040 G2 so i want to ask that is it manageable for my programming/software dev. Programme.

i5 4gb ram but he is not a developer, so for you just hit i5 8gb RAM (WebDev + Linux ) or 16gb (Mobile Development)

I used this Laptop in Interswitch for 4 years, it's the reason I bought it, They are built for business productivity and long life
