Just30:thanks to nana addo as he made it cheaper and faster to clears automobiles and its parts. |
spartacus11:trash! From your talk, it seems you must be those yahoo 9ja boys who feeds the hungry Ghanaians.... In which part of the world are there no upclass and poor neighborhood? It is logical for you to say that nigeria music or movie industry is ahead of ghana, but for you to say Ghanas entertainment industry is dependent on Nigeria.. This does not make sense.. There is a saying in ivorian French, when it rains in Paris, abidjan sneezes? Is this what you mean? If nigeria music should fall, it will not affect ghana... If I lie ask the congos... Congo were at the top when it comes to francophone music, today it is the ivorians leading.. So massa, if naija music falls, e fall yakata, e no go affect ghana kraaa... You are talking as if ghana sells their music to Nigeria... It is true buying cars in ghana is expensive, but where are your senses? Ghanians would leave ghana, Togo and benin and come to Nigeria to buy car, register it and send to ghana.. Is this making sense? Cars are cheap in Togo and benin, nigerians buy cars in benin because it is cheap.. But why wud a Ghanaian come to nigeria and buy car leaving Togo and benin? I think you are not good at argument... I can see why ivorians say we think one way... Ghana wud say, alatafor w3 gimi paaa! Buying dstv in nigeria and sending it to ghana.... Hmm never heard. But I do know that buying things in ghana is expensive and paying monthly subscription is expensive But I hope they are not hacking the decoder in other for you to get free channels.. If so, I am not interested in illegal stuff... I believe in most part of ghana have electricity distributed to their home.. There are 10 regions in ghana.. And I can confidently say, 8-9 regions have electricity evenly distributed to their homes.. I live in Lagos, my area gets light for 15-17 hrs a day.. My cousin house in lekki, they get light for 10hrs a day.. I schooled in kumasi, ashanti region... Charlie, light dey constant.. Throughout my exams, I never read with candle.. But in Nigeria, I read with candle a lot... I don't lie, I stand with the truth .... All I am saying, our govt don't make life comfortable or at peace with anyone in nigeria... But in Ghana, there is comfort... That's uniqueness... |
wristbangle:read your statement again.. You are using the condition "if".. Ok, let me tell you.. Every country can use "if".. Do you think Ghana don't have it problems?.. "If ghana should concentrate more on its problems, it should be at toe to toe with south Africa" " if south Africa should concentrate more on its problem, perhaps it would be heaven". / You don't know how to talk.. Don't based d condition on if... There is no excuse.... Please, ghana is where it is because of cocoa.. Nigeria was into cocoa, what happened? Is it not the same cocoa ghana used to build its school, electricity, roads, health etc... What did nigeria do with its cocoa? Ogbeni, don't come and shout GDP or infrastructure because your/my country has spent more to achieve lesser resources and ghana has spent less to achieve greater resources.. Nigerians are like haitians... Haitians where on the same level with the Dominican long back... But Haiti messed up in the long run and given so much excuses... |
Chukazu:bro, for coke i disagree with you.. That is a multi national company.. The same formula is used in the production process.. Perhaps you bought a different coca cola flavor or na diet coke you buy... |
mmsen:before mobile phone (gsm) came to nigeria, it was in ghana already.. Ghana started Electronic data capturing of foreigners, my country nigeria recently started.. The day I left ghana, I exited electronically(my passport was placed in a device).. At aflao border... Coming to nigeria( seme border), I was manually registered (I can understand as a Nigerian) but A white foreigner with nigerian resident permit was registered manually.. Note: ofcourse, this technology is in airports.. ATM, ghana started... Mobile banking, ghana started.. Prepaid and digital postpaid meter, ghana started... Or maybe u will tell me now that nigeria is supplying Ghana electricity so hence, nigeria started digital postpaid/prepaid technology.. during the time ghana went electronical in goods clearing, my brother in customs were using manuals.. But I am open to a debate where you think we started.. There is what I do tell my gh friends, it is not by starting first but how you finish... If you look at IT, banking, ghana started 1st but today nigeria is ahead.. This is where I respect Nigeria Nigeria suffered lots of set backs due to military rule. Unlike ghana they were d pioneers of democracy which brought change.. There was new implementation, new technology, lots of try and errors... |
LesbianBoy:werey! U never Bleep Togo pussy na cardi b u wan go for... |
spartacus11:when I talk of peace, I don't mean the opposite of war.. I am talking about comfortable living... Perhaps you are enjoying Nigeria because you have money.. You can buy fuel to on generator, you can pay money to a private hospital when sick. You went to a private school.. you can provide security in your house...perhaps, you constructed your drainage, you kept street light... Life is good.. Some people in 9ja don't enjoy what you do.. Stay bless my friend.. |
IAMJojo:hmm.. How can I help you? It is a really a long time.. I took a flight from Accra to ouga.. Ouga back to kumasi on road(annoying journey).. Since you are going from nigeria, i think you need to go to benin republic. And get direct to ouga.... Or you come to Accra, Ghana and get direct to ouga. I know that TCV buses leave Tuesday and Sundays in kumasi.. They leave at night 6pm and you reach ouga 10-11am... ( explained by my burkina babe then in school). TCV buses goes to benin republic as well... All this you should find out at mile 2, Lagos or send border, benin republic.. About how much you need? 90k-100k.. Why burkina, I hope u don't mind my curiosity.. I believe you don't know French... Burkina is good... At least, it is not disorganized like 9ja.. There are people doing biz there but somehow it can be slow. Not much purchasing power there but there people making it. They have artificial beach, owned by a Lebanese.. A nice area I liked is ouga deux mille (ouga2000). I enjoyed the scooter ride by my burkina babe as she took me round the city... Girls ride scooter alot. If you buy them scooter, na their car b dat... Not much to say but I did appreciate been there and spending times with the family... I am sorry I can't give much help as to the currency, places.... But the place is ok... There is light, water, security... The basics.. Lots of NGOs helping the economy... |
asuustrike2009:the truth is bitter.. I was just quoting the myopic ones... My brothers(including me) usedto have this olden days views about ghana and Ghanaians until they came visiting... In ghana there is comfort but to get comfort in nigeria, we have to pay. As Nigerians we can boast of economy, population, infrastructure... That is all.. A business man(foreigner) in Ghana once told me, for you to like nigeria, you must accept their norm or you must b living in nigeria as a Nigerian to accept the country not that you have a choice but it is what it is.. He concluded to say, " what is there to enjoy if you have or make money as a business man and can't enjoy peace ( comfort). |
zuto4u:agreed! When you talk of smartness of we nigerians, I give it to us. But why bring crime as a topic, when you talk of crimes, at least those countries solve crimes better than others(nigeria) . During my stay in Ghana, out of all the prison break I have heard on the news there is a 95%chance of catching those prisoners which the policing have done.. But my country Nigeria, we do hear of prison break most especially in the north and how many they apprehend? A few... Let me tell you the truth, it is easier committing a crime in nigeria and you can be successful but go and try it in ghana.. You will know how vibrant their policing are.. Why won't people not mock your country when u don't do d right thing.. |
asuustrike2009:the whole of Nigeria isn't worse.. But I am using the big cities of Nigeria to compare that of the big cities in ghana.. The kumasi I schooled in which is like the second or third best in ghana Lagos, calabar, port, is a better.. But there is something I have factored that makes life worth living when in kumasi or Accra is the peace. Leaving your house(light, sec, water= peace) , transportation(3 on a sit= peace) to office(ease of doing business; no much bribes or paying people to b in biz= peace) and office to bank (no metal detector, no much of police escorts o. Bullion vans= peace) ... You are at rest in everything you do there.. You don't think of buying fuel to on generator, or buying large fuel to store perhaps there might be fuel scarcity, you don't see much street fight.. Etc.. You are at rest.. Do u get me? |
nickxtra:I understand where you are coming from.. I have lived in both countries and to my opinion, one country has good implementation mechanism(both private and public) but lacks the will to drive it, this is where I would say Nigeria is better and I have respect for the country.. We are late to start but when we start, the acceptance to such technology model (TAM) becomes massive and in some cases we finish well. |
zuto4u:lol! "Blocage mentale" as the ivorians would say when they read such statements like yours.. Also, They say " we are loud mouth".. You know, in Costa Rica, they are referred to as "pura vida" it means “simple life” or “pure life”. Why? Its their way of life.. They don't talk too much.. Costa Rica is seen as the happiest countries in the world, mostly because its inhabitants don’t stress about things the way most foreigners do. My friend, travel and see the world.. We are loud mouth, we brag too much when we know truly that we are "suffering and smiling ".. |
nickxtra:one thing I know about ghana nigeria, ghana are usually the first to start something of such nature, but with time, nigeria would start with the initiative and then supersede ghana... This is where I see Nigerians acceptance to technology ahead of ghana. Ghana they have good top leaders who implement new policy but they lack finishing... While Nigeria, we don't have good leaders to implement it at early stage but when such project is implemented, nigerians are great finishers.... |
TemmyTee82:irrespective of where I am from and how I was raised, I speak for the public.. We can afford light, water, education, security, health etc but as a poor man in nigeria, you can't afford it.. But in ghana, such poor person can enjoy those things I am enjoying in nigeria.. That makes nigeria messed up.. We Africans we have our problem but here in the states where I live, I rarely here Ghanaians lament about no light, no water, insecurity... But when I am in my nigerian people or community, be it Yoruba, Igbo or pidgin, it is the same complain.. All this makes nigeria jagajaga. In Ghana, it is a big shame when they play eedris abdulkareem song jagagaga... The song is a hit but the way they all go gaga and mock Nigeria, you will bend your head in the club.. Even my burkinabe gf was disappointed about how disorganized Lagos, Nigeria was when she came visiting.. She said, my country may not be rich as yours but there is a good sense of order living in burkina faso.. She was right when I paid visit to ougadougou and bobodioulasso... |
TemmyTee82:this chicken is big.. I am a Nigerian and I have seen how carton of chicken can be with its pricing... I will tell you where Nigeria is better.. Ghana is expensive and if there is one thing I can spend my money well, it is buying chicken.. And at 60 cedis then, I get good value for money.. Now buying live chicken in nigeria appears cheaper compare to buying live chicken in ghana.. |
TemmyTee82:have you been to the Dominican Republic or haiti? |
hotdealz:you should do. I once bought an iPhone 5s in nigeria took it to Ghana.. I did not plan to sell it but a ghanaian trader saw the phone, took it from me, thought I was selling it.. He gave me an offer.. My profit was 10000 naira... That was when iphone 5 was new in d market.. |
TemmyTee82:90 cedis should be like 7000 naira - 7,200 naira. |
vascey:forget your talk... There is good value for your money in ghana.. Ghana has what it takes to be like the western nation.. Their govt sector works very well.. Their policing system works well, they have a good NHIS better than nigeria.. Their educational sector works. To me, nigeria is a place you go and take advantage of the population, make money and remit back to your country.. The Indians knows this and thats how they are ripping us off... |
SmartyPants:sure.. But are you coming to live or holiday in ghana.. |
Aniedi30:you are right but trouble will follow you if you go looking for trouble. It is the same everywhere.. If you fuckup here in the states, you are finished... |
TheAngry1:that is becos your country jagajaga.. Have you traveled before? Have you been to haiti and Dominica republic? They are both on an island.. Dominican republic is a paradise but Haiti is hell.. Haitians travel to dominican rep alot and then come back to talk about how peaceful it is in Dominican... But how many Dominicans goes to haiti? A few.. And what is there to talk about haiti, none. Because haiti is scattered! That's how nigeria and ghana is... It is when you travel and see places then your mind becomes open.. You start to compare and contrast. |
tunde37:I am also proud of Nigeria too.. But you are not getting the picture clearly.. One distinct uniqueness about ghana and 9ja is peace. There is peace in ghana.. There is law and order.. Nothing like hustle and bustle... No magomago... The serene is alot better.. With one naira or one cedi you can live in peace in ghana But in 9ja you need more money to get to live in peace... In nigeria, there is noise and air pollution but it is not like that in gh.. The air is fresh.. When I was schooling in gh, at night I smell cocoa all over and I was living in a city(kumasi) but when I come to Lagos for holiday, I smell generator fume.. This is bad.. Let us say the truth.. |
ayoblinks:a carton of chicken was like 60 cedis.. It was cheap.. Now I hear it is 90 cedis.. It is still cheap... |
Ibcdesigns:I have said it here on nairaland, when traveling to ghana, buy things from Nigeria and then sell in their local market even if it is a small profit you make. It is better carrying a device to sell than cash where you might be cheated when changing money... |
Ghana again!! Alatafor or p3 ghana saaa ( Nigerians love ghana too much) |
maursatt:look at you. If you know how much those slim white girls with flat ass admire curvy girls from the inside.. They don't show it but they like to have a shape like that.. Go to fitness gym and u will how they try to squat just to ensure their little ass come out a little bit. |
Fair skinned Yoruba girls no dey be me kraa. Their skin color no b like d real dem a Igbo girls, fulani girls, kanuri girls, akwa ibom or calabar girls.. This Yoruba actress no sweet me... Some of dem dey b like all dem ghana girls wey dey use cream fair. This babe enye de. Me k) da wai! |
nwatthu:God bless you.. I don't understand how freddykruger thinks... |
FreddyKruger:legal or illegal, it can happen to anybody.. What the libyans are doing is uncivilized... It is not only nigerians used as slavery, there are other african nationals who are leaving their country due to war, famine, political instability, economic loss and are using Libya as a transit hub... Dude, have respect for humanity no human should be treated like animals... Have you seen a video of a Libyan stabbing a black African because he is using Libya as a transit hub? I have traveled legally to the white mans world and I have met people who have used that Libyan route all to escape suffering in their country.. |
Pidgin2:smiles!!! Nigeria is big, I brought in sectors where the majority have thrived.. The fact that oil is not in the land of the majority does not mean other regions don't have its natural and mineral resources. I am glad that you point out oil to be for the minority.. At least, you know that most of the examples I gave are true making the majority what it is to be majority.. Between, I am a minority... |
