Almost every post i click on to read, i try to glance through the comments to see inputs of ideas but unfortunately, i see the abuses from all angles. Regardless of how crucial the post might be. The truth is that most of the people are highly disadvantaged and useless to their parents, ofcourse there are still unable to pay bride prizes or even take responsibility. POVERTY has eaten deep into their brains. Worst thing is that we have graduates among them still depending on their parents and can't think of some creative ideas or opportunities to help yourselves.
Wait for the federal government to feed and clothe you and your family. Why are we so backward and not progressing? The government steal our money and we find a way to justify it if the thief is from ur tribe. Then you fight yourselves online with the little data you could use to acquire knowledge from valuable sites. You really need to think about where you will be in the next5 years. Are you really caused or you're just trying by abusing yourselves? I wonder how you will feel in the next 10 to 20 years when you read our posts? Alot to say but i rest my case. Thanks

Reno also forgot to mention that Abiola stood his ground till his death despite the huge odds against him. Cowards don't do that.
And that's also a fact. He refused to give in despite all entreaties and pleas from several foreign governments.

Chineke! Some people are stark illiterates and then they turn the tables around..does it matter if Kwara is a State or City? We all know that over 97% of indigenes of Kwara are muslims today. What was their religious inclination before the conquest by the fulani and why were they defeated and still colonised till today?

Mention one Igbo great that fought for his people till the end.
Obasanjo and Idiagbon did not fight for Yorubas. Both fought personal wars and power tussels with the government.
How then can one elevate them as people that fought for their people?
Ignorance!

How then your warriors lose Kwara to the Fulanis abi dem dey prepare for a re-match

Afonja lost Illorin NOT Kwara.

And in the rematch in 1840 in Oshogbo, it was a blood bath for the Fulanis who came with horses and spears while the Yoruba warriors lead by the Ibadan baloguns were armed with long rifled dane guns... it was a massacre and this stopped the fulani invasion into Yoruba territory.

Afonja himself that was the traitor that lost Ilorin was a muslim! Islam had already entered into Ilorin before Afonja lost it because of his rift with the Alafin (King) of Oyo empire.

Honestly they do not know what honour is. Maybe in their next life, they will get it. But not in this one.
You listen to their arguments and you wonder, are these people for real? Justifying cowardice after leading millions of his own people to their early grave.

It is better to start a fight and make a tactical retreat than to commit suicide without the actual fight taking place.

It amounts to sheer cowardice for a man who truly won an election to be seized and locked up and eventually murdered alongside his wife without his people protesting.

Without his people protesting?

You didnt see the economic shut downs? You dont recall how many people died at yaba and other places during those protests? You never heard of nadeco?

How old were you in the 90's and where did you live?

This is one of those rare times I'm agreeing with Reno. He has said it as it is. Igbo seem to have this exaggerated self-ego and hubris. The man has provided good fact to back up his claim - Ojukwu ran away; Gowon remained in Europe after he was toppled - unlike the duo of Obj and Idiagbon. Tthough I don't like tribal politics and I'm not even a Yoruba, but I think this should shatter the false vintage of my Igbo brothers (I'm not Igbo).

Idiagbon is a Fulani man, and Obj's paternity is still in question, still Obj returned because IBB, Atiku etc guaranteed his safety and pushed him to return. During Obj's presidency, who were his most trusted allies and why, as I said, his paternity is still in question. The full blood yoruba man is General OLADIPO DIYA, and we all know how he knelt down, peed on himself and cried like a little girl before his junior officer Major Hamza al-Mustapha, begging him to save his life, the video is on YouTube, now that's a true yoruba.

Also awolowo was a coward because he never had the bravery to lead his people out the place he called a mere geographic expression, even when he had the greatest opportunity.
He was not a coward, instead he was highly intellectual and was not ready to sacrifice the lives of his people by taking the foolish path. He would rather take a more diplomatic route. What did the bravery of ojuwku lead to? you know the answer.

As long as Kwara a hitherto Yoruba land remains the Fulani property, cowardice is spelled out.

Abiola saga, Awolowo's shameful suicide, Ogundipe fleeing to London even when not threatened, the other general crying and begging a subordinate to spare him, Mile12 saga, Hausa and Yoruba olotun beans sellers clash in Osun... ..etc

I have many reasons to call them bloody cowards...

And what do you call a man who has accessible roads leading to Biafra land, but still crying to his master to.authorise him to leave before he can move an inch if not a SLAVE?

Tribalism reduces men to folly! Merely looking at some of the comments on this thread makes me want to barf. The evils of ethnicity!

This nation is far from united; we might as well do away with the veneer of unity and begin to call a spade a spade: the Igbos have a red-hot hatred towards the Yorubas, the Yorubas despise the Igbos; the Igbos and Yorubas both detest the Hausas.

Buť, truly, all of these is mere human folly. We were born humans, not Igbos or Yorubas or Hausas. Cultural identity is a game of chance and largely geography-dependent. Let's lay this stupidity to everlasting rest, it's the only way we can ever hope to see the light.
