The most touching for me were the Ladan and Laleh Bijani's story. I would have said why not remain like that and live long but then, living attached to one another would have a living hell since they have different likes and aspirations. Hence, their decision to be separated whether they'll live or die. May they rest in peace-by the way, are/were there no famous Siamese twins in Africa? |
donvidar: #yawns#Honestly, as the elder brother, why would he ever think of boycotting his younger brother's wedding? So he has not realised that since the demise of their mother, he has automatically become their new parent? Infact, he is supposed to serve as a mediator when their is dispute without bias and he should scold any of them for indiscipline. He lost his respect the day he boycotted the wedding. He had better do the needful and reconcile his family because he is the head now. |
And wen I talk say I no dey drink alcohol, dem go talk say na jedijedi go kill me. Una see una life! |
That's great! In no time, other aspects of our economy will follow suit. An import dependent country can never grow. |
uwemjack: with 2k5 I can get you a reliable digital guagePlease, mail me your number or state it here. I will contact you shortly. I hope you're in Lagos. aladdeen2000@yahoo.com |
ivoryhouse: Shoprite, victoria islandThanks. |
Ladipodeal: most accident caused by overinflation not used tyre. FRSC doing nothing to educate the roadside vulcanizer and car owner about the right pressure for their car. Most vulcanizer inflate above 45psi for cars and 60psi for buses. On most brand new chinese made tyre it is clearly written that " never inflate beyond 35psi" some states 40psi.Pls, do you know where I can get a digital tyre pressure gauge in Lagos? |
Terrible! |
I'm not surprised. I had already seen it coming. Will this country survive? |
I would rather buy Sony xperia z. |
I love this German team. The players are not selfish at all. They give the ball to the player who's in the best position to properly place the ball beyond the goal keeper. If they had been selfish, they might not have scored up to 5 goals. |
This is the sweetest defeat of all time. I simply can't believe this! |
I wonder when they will realize this-always jeopardizing the lives of innocent citizens. |
poiZon: for giveaways n freebies, dial 080cASILAS!lol ![]() |
misterjosh: whr did those brothers receive their training to av been able to engage security forces for 3 hrs. This shows they might av been better trained than our soldiers. His house being the battle field is an advantage to him and his brother. They should know the place inside out. |
4reigningqueen: u need to speak to oshiomole.he will tell you what to do.So he told you same thing when your misfortune led you to him for assistance? Sorry o, u hia? From one disappointment to another..maybe you should try your boyfriend, mikel although it might take him ages to finally come to your rescue(considering he's slow nature on the field of play) even if he accepts to put a smile on your face. |
4reigningqueen: so whats funny in this?I'm not responsible for your misfortune! |
smart134: who are d key players?I said Key "player" not "players" and his name is Thiago Silva. He's their center-back and captain. Seems their coach will have a hard time playing his role with another player. Check his(coach) reaction in their game against Columbia when the captain got his second yellow card of the tournament and you will know better. |
To ruin ur relationship, text Mikel to 3888.To save your relationship, text Enyeama to 3880.For free megaBITE,text Suarez to 3881.To achieve your own goal, text Yobo to 3074. I couldn't help but lol when someone sent this to me. |
Big loss for Brazil couple with the fact that another key player will not play the next game against Germany due to two yellow cards. |
I hate hoax, what about you? |
What about lengthy jail term for anybody that embezzles public fund? I know they won't do that because it will affect them too. |
Phew! Already feeling nervous. SE pls, let's break this second round barrier today o. |
abatically: It is absolutely unnecessary to honk ur horn while overtaking, unless maybe a long truck. The sound of horn can be annoying to other drivers and can make them lose control. If I'm driving on my lane jeje and u come behind me and start honking unnecessary just because u want to overtake when u could have easily passed since I'm not blocking u. Because of that ur horn, I will stay in the middle of the road thereby not giving u room, let me see how hard ur horn can go.Well, I know some people do it unnecessarily and irritatingly but I personally don't find sounding your horn once or twice before overtaking annoying especially when the road is a bit narrow(but can still contain two vehicles). I see it as you trying to be extra careful so that nothing goes wrong. And please, it is also unnecessary for you to drive in the middle of the road simply because a driver irritated you by sounding his/her horn. |
abatically: Driving a car without a horn? I get it, in Nigeria that is an abomination. I can drive a whole month without using my horn. Horns are meant to be used only when necessary, but in naija it's a taboo. I yell at my brother when he drives my car and honks the horn unnecessarily People even honk at u when ur in a traffic as if they can pass even when u clear for them.A whole month?! That would have been extremely frustrating for me. When overtaking, I use my horn always so as to be sure you know I'm closing in beside you. This can prevent a sleepy/careless driver from suddenly swerving to my lane thereby causing accident. Additionally, some nuisance unnecessarily waste your time in traffic. A driver in front of me was chatting away with his passenger in a long traffic that was barely moving. Each time we moved probably after staying in one spot for about 10 minutes, he moved at snail's pace thereby allowing other motorists to join our lane in his front and delaying us. By the time we all started blaring our horns continuously, he was forced to quickly adjust and drive faster. The use of horn is a way of communicating with other motorists and passersby-Just like you point to left/right when turning. So I wonder how you were able to cope for a whole month with using your horn except you are not living in Nigeria especially Lagos where you will always be faced with numerous obstacles. |
I am currently driving an auto but before now, I used to drive a 1992 manual Mazda 626. I hardly drove the car in a stop and go traffic so I can't really say how terrible it can be to drive a manual in a heavy traffic. But I think it will be much easier with some of these recent manual cars. I drove a manual 2005 corolla(bank type) last year after dumping the Mazda in 2006. I thought I was going to have a hard time handling it for the first few minutes but I was stunned at how easy it was. I drove it as if I didn't have a manual driving long break. Very easy to drive than the Mazda. Like some people have pointed out, manual cars have improved over the years and they are now easier to handle than their old counterparts. I hope to drive a recent manual car in a crazy Lagos traffic someday. |
tpacalipse: I live in Lagos, Ogun, Ekiti, Ondo and Oyo, don't ask me why I have many places, and I too have never come across any driving school that has a car fitted to an auto tranny in it collection to. May be they have in the eastern part of Nigeria and Abuja.Na only me dey bold enough; why u dey live for 5 different places? ![]() |
itsmayiela: As for me, i love sleeping while driving and thats why i prefer auto to manual. Are you really serious about this or just joking? |
Siena: There are too many makes and models of cars for the OP to be unhappy, if he / she bought an alternative to the almost obligatory Camry. Like in over 2 million makes and models, he / she won't like any? Unless you're saying life is incomplete, without ownership of a Toyota Camry?Ofcourse, there are several cars that will always make him happy apart from the popularly adored Camry in this part of the world. But if you read the OP's post again, you'll realise that the 1999 Camry is his dream car which is already on it way to his house. Hence, Camry is the car that he feels will make him happy. He has only thrown the issue of theft to the house for deliberation and I have only encouraged him to go ahead and use it since it makes him happy. The point here is that we are talking about what the OP likes and not just anybody's desire. |
Seems those loaves are already considered bad. |
Thanks Export1, I'm grateful. |
I have never been tempted to participate in their promos; especially those useless telecommunication companies. |
