PoliticsRe: PHCN Handed-Over To Strategic Core Investors by 3ace(m): 1:47pm On Sep 30, 2013
Facts are not all the PHCN staff have been paid and the FG has officially handed over to private investors. In as much as I believe the former should fully be executed before the latter, these are still good developments. The workers won't cooperate fully with investors into handing over facilities and forcing the investors to cry to FG. FG will in turn speedy up payment processes so that everybody can be happy soon. I can't wait to start experiencing 24 hour power supply. I don't give a f*ck who gives me me light; APC, PDP, PPP NDP, NFF, ASSU, SAN, FBI...ALL I WANT IS LIGHT!

PoliticsRe: President Media Chat On 29th September 2013 by 3ace(m):
damola1: Most of this interviewers are jokes. There's practically no investigative journalism to counter the president's claim.

How can you be foolish enough to ask the president about the role of the Minister, and the president as to explain to you the 4 chief of staff are responsible....

This interview is a joke. Ask hard questions, have people investigate and hold this man on his blockos
Those two men in white sacks are just looking like mumu. They just went there to commit "lookery"
PoliticsRe: President Media Chat On 29th September 2013 by 3ace(m): 7:57pm On Sep 29, 2013
I don't really know what's wrong with NTA. With all the resources and years of existence in TV broadcasting. Ehn! Since 1977 and NTA is still giving us terrible broadcasting. Picture quality is very poor and the audio is just sounding as if the interview was recorded in the 50s. Shame on them all. Maybe when they go digital, things will improve but honestly, this is very bad. I'm just straining my ears to hear them.
PoliticsRe: Orji To Relocate 78-year Umuahia Market by 3ace(m): 4:36pm On Sep 29, 2013
Meanwhile, the traders have said they were recording cases of stealing and shop
breaking at Umuahia main market,
according to a report by the News Agency
of Nigeria.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN)
Correspondent who monitored situation at
the market on Friday gathered that because
of the nearness of the relocation date,
traders refused to pay the monthly security
fee.
NAN learnt that the situation forced the
security outfit securing the market to
withdraw their services.
I don't trust those security outfits especially those of them that are not renowned. They could be behind it to leave a statement that their presence shouldn't be taken for granted. I don witness am before.

Maybe I will have to swallow my words then.
PoliticsRe: Orji To Relocate 78-year Umuahia Market by 3ace(m): 4:21pm On Sep 29, 2013
Orji explained that payment for the
allocation form has been reduced to
N20,000, while allocation fee was pegged at
N100, 000. After the relocation each trader
would be required to pay N300, 000, which
would be spread over four years, before
they could take full ownership of their
shops.
He said new traders, who did not have
shops in the old market would pay
N100,000 higher.
This appears to me like a good deal which should be applauded by well-meaning people of Abia State but I'm depressed because if this was issued by Lagos State government, you start to hear things like "it's made for the elites"
CelebritiesRe: Olawale Ojo Is The Winner Of MTN Project Fame Season 6.0 by 3ace(m):
Congratulations Olawale, may this mark the beginning of great things in your life. I think MTN and ULTIMA STUDIO need to provide a level playing field for all contestants of this talent show. I understand they can't organise such a big show without making anything in return in the form of proceeds from viewers' votes but as long as Nigeria continues to participate in this show, we will always win considering our population in West Africa. A caller called in a few days ago raising this concern and Mrs Joke's response was that if other West African countries vote as much as Nigeria, it is only a matter of time when their candidate will clinche the winning prize. But the big question here is how many of these countries are up to Nigeria in population? The answer is none. Maybe MTN should henceforth hide the identities of these contestants until the grand finale so that anybody who votes will do so based on merit and not because he/she is from a particular country or tribe. This eradicates bias and you're sure of giving the title to those who really deserve it. Ayo won it last year but I'm not too convinced about him in the competition. People like him might not make it if bias is eradicated. My whole story is not to say that Olawale didn't merit it but I'm sure some people would have voted for him because he's a Nigerian. This is just an opinion not meant to downplay Olawale's victory.

This story is most likely false not because they can't afford it but they will be scared of immediate probe into the act. If they were gonna do it, they will do it secretly especially for the guests' safety.

HealthRe: Research Shows Odd Facts About Short And Tall People by 3ace(m): 7:59pm On Sep 28, 2013
Larger people provide larger targets, while producing more heat, moisture, carbon dioxide, and other chemicals that can attract insects.
How I wish the mosquitoes in my area can behave like these bugs so that they can focus all their energies on these Goliath and yokozuna looking creatures. At least they can be useful in this area helping us to reduce suffering unleashed on us by these tiny insects.

ajasa4link: A phone specially made for learners...
Yes, learners who don't care about the kind of modification you can do with your phone. Just make calls, browse, play simple games and listen to music and above all, it must be affordable.
PhonesRe: TECNO P3S Discussion Thread by 3ace(m): 5:28pm On Sep 28, 2013
There will always be market for any product. They have their target and not everybody is concerned about the latest software and hardware. Forcing the price down in order to make it affordable is one reason for this phone. So you can't blame Tecno. They know what they are doing.

EducationRe: FG Avert SSANU Strike; Pays Outstanding Salaries by 3ace(m):
Why didn't they extend this same treatment to ASSU? Why do they have to always wait for threat like this to happen before they know what they should do? Do they also delay their own salaries like this? Very selfish and insensitive government.
