SportsRe: Were The Super Falcons Really Picked Up From The Airport In A Trailer? by 3sha4lyf: 2:04am On Nov 19, 2010
ishit4body:
You are realy senseless. You hate someone you cant see? You need to be sent to a pshychiatric home. Yes, and i will personally pay for it. Or if you realy hate me so much, you need to jump in front of a moving trailer, maybe this same one you are talking about. You need a single shot put into your belly, and i will ake sure that happens so soon, for being so foolish to say you hate someone you dont see. Common sense elludes you so blatantly.
ishit4body:
Some people dont realy think before they talk. The fowl who says black people, what has that got do with the issue on ground? and some foreigners even come here to talk brash about Nigeria, those whose countries national sports team can not even afford money to send their team to the competition talkless of winning it, and all you people can do is to post comments upon comments that has no meaning, absolutely no meaning.

The issue is not the trailer, the issue is the reason behind it, you all know the reason behind using the open trailer, this is not new, 1996, Kanu and co, they won the olympic gold, Keshi and co, when they won the African nations cup, the 1984 under 17 winning team also rode on a trailer, hey, even the French team that won the corld cup rode in a trailer. The people who knows what matters wont make these meaningless comments.

They rode in a trailer - yes, but tommorrow, you will be the one shouting the government has over compensated them when you hear what government has in stock for them.

Hypocrites- we all know Nigeria can afford to put them in a gold plated limousine, but, if that is done, you all will first kill yourselves first and say the same thing, you will say, shame on the black people. Just as i like it said here, shame on those goat eating black people who come here to talk ras.
ONE SENTENCE, YOU'RE AN IDIOTIC KID!!!

This is not the first time- whats the big deal? Kanu and co rode in something like this when they won the under 17 cup, same when they won the gold medal in the olympics and same when they won the nations cup. So, whats all these talk and where is it coming from?
AND

ishit4body:
On Nairaland, jobless people take panadol for another person headache. If a limousine had shown up to convey these ladies, a lot of these yam stealers will still come here to condemn it saying tax payers money are being wasted. This was done to drive them round for all to see, do you have low gumptions?
Oh,  Now really, who the heck is this *Ishit4body*?
Anyway, your id tells a lot about you, you're nothing but shit.
How can you talk like that if indeed you are a woman? Kanu Nwankwo n co, during their times, they were even given state-of-the-art cars. How can you tell me that putting these winners in a truck meant for cows was the best way to celebrate them. can you enter such. I hate you and i feel like tearing you up. you are a senseless woman, thats if you are. if they were put in limousines, EVERYONE (maybe except the wicked and kill-joy you) would have been happy becos they know that they deserved it. All your posts on this 9raland dont make sense and if you claim to have schooled abroad, WHAT A WASTE OF FUNDS ON UR HEAD!!!

I dont think a lady can win the ultimate search. It might not be good for biz for Guiness.
Gulder is not a female drink, they cant use an Ultimate woman for their adverts and If they ever try it,some ppl might begin to see Gulder as a womans drink.
Am not too happy Uche won it,methinks he does not deserve it,anyway, its his luck but he does not deserve it.

Gbam!

A woman winnin the show is definitely a bad omen for the brand. The organisers are not stupid.

So much for 'Anything a man can do , '

Thats not true, A woman might win when the time comes, The organisers are not stupid to be boring everyone with a man-winning gus, they would wanna give the story a new twist by making sure a woman wins, u never know
TV/MoviesRe: Can A Lady Ever Win The Guilder Ultimate Search? by 3sha4lyf: 8:44pm On Aug 09, 2009
Can a woman win GUS? Candidly, i must say the answer is "IT IS POSSIBLE". Do u know y i say so,  cos there will be a timein history when the organisers of GUS will want to give it a new dimension. And either by Ojoro or reality, they will evict all the guys,  I know wat I am say and you guys should watch and see. Originally, GUS is meant for men and not for women, cos if you follow d story line of the whole GUS thingy, u'll see that in the course of the whole Horn and Crown quest that they r gonna be doin for about 25 years, i guess, the women wer just der to service the pharoahs,  the same way the women are just in GUS to spice it up. I have been there n done that b4,  It wasnt an easy thingy at all. In an episode, GUS3, Mariam broke her legs, Comfort Broke her waist and a finger after falling down from a 12ft wooden fence. Patricia's feet scaled off,  i mean it changed skin from the jungle. Its too dangerous. Remember how Mudi died,
Summary, GUS is for the men, and then the women to try to test their limits, Therefore the women can never win it until they reach the part of the storyline where a woman defeated pharoah. What a lucky woman that will be cos she would be an "Ultimate Woman", lol

FamilyRe: Is Anything Wrong With Getting A Second Wife? by 3sha4lyf: 2:13pm On Apr 09, 2009
Please what is wrong with asking a question on NL? the young man asked a simple ? and y'all crucifying him. Well, mif you say marrying more than one wife is bad, then having concubines outside is as bad too. For me, except someone can convince me otherwise, i dont see anything wrong in marrying a second wife, afterall, some men make mistakes in marrying their first wife and somewer along the line, they find out that they are really not satisfied, and then, there is this lovey-dovey out there that makes him complete, not necessarily in bed. It happens. I was a victim of it, Mind you, i am open to your critics. Dont pretend. Its a thing about choice. If you feel you can cope with the second wife, go ahead. The second wife just has to know it that she has to be loyal to you and your first wife. With love in the family, you will work out fine. But you must be sure that "Anything that makes you buy a scrap car, after having a ferrari, must be really worth it". Is the second wife-to -be worth the extra mile you're gonna take? Ask your self that ? b4 entering this level for the elderly ones,

Then as for any critic here, i am ready for you. I have opined here. Its up to you to opine too.

can anyone tell me how to track my application for uk visa on line. i have tried but have not been able to locate the application refference number. can any one tell me wher to find it on the small leaflet i was given? please
First of all, where did you apply? Check on your white printed reciept from VAC and look for something like this VIAC/date/6 numbers/1 number
eg. VIAC/070409/123456/1. VIAC stands for Victoria Island Application Center, while 070409 is the date of submission.
Pls note that i am replying based on an application made in Victoria Island, Lagos, so check on your slip for something familiar, then go to www.ukvac-ng.com and check for "Track application" on the left panel.

AjanleKoko:
I spent my honeymoon in Paris in '07, and was there again in February '09, passing through on my way to Barcelona. Spent a night.
We stayed at the Berne Opera in the 8th Arrondissment, not far from the Opera and the Galleries Lafayette (Hausmann Boulevard).
Visited everywhere basically, including the Eiffel, Champs Elysees, the Louvre, Notre Dame, and Euro Disney. There is one ride at that EuroDisney that can give you a heart attack!! The space rocket thingy.
Paris is a cool city, not so expensive, comparable with most of the Eurozone. Shopped at la Valle Village, one stop before Eurodisney. Wasn't too bad, really.
We plan to visit again for a second honeymoon sometime in the future.
you can say that again, Paris na second Heaven, its a cool place especially if you know how to speak french, romance was born in Paris, i plan to even go there in three weeks time. I advice anyone to,

My dear, the annoying part of my own story is that i applied for a study leave from my office and was granted since january 2nd 2009. now tell me what the bhc wants me to do if i have not been earning salary since january and they have not answered me. they are just crazy, My company sef r worried cos they need their documents to carry out some jobs. the thing tire me sef, i tryd callin dem today but all the lines wont go thru. i even feel like telling them i no want again make dem gimme my passport make i go france jare.

iwefactria:
can you see the problem now.barely all Nigerian have applied 4 one type of visa or the other meaning that they have lot of applications and they have to verify all submitted documents.i think you guys should keep on calling and be hopeful.best of luck
That they have a lot of work to do does not mean that they should click "Pause" on applicants' lives. they should employ more facilities so that they can be efficient. even if they need to carry out investigations, they should have time frames for that. Becos of their incompetencies, one cannot plan a trip to another country while applyin for visa to the uk.

Sky-walker:
But thats too long.i got mine 10 days after i applied February (student visa). Something must be wrong. Were you not given a date to come back for collection?
You are one of the few lucky people. me, i was given 10-15 working days, i have tracked it online, called VFS, they kept tellin me "Not ready". when i explained my predicament that my resumption date was near, the attendant on phone gave me a number to reach the BHC Visa section. I called them and asked about the status of my application and they still said "we are sorry we have not yet taken a decision". yours truly, till today, na the story oh. even their chart on their site says 5-60 working days. i just give tham till dis friday and if i dont get any call from them, i am storming the BHC and am gonna cause mayhem there. they had even better not denied me cos after the long wait, they are goona pay me damages for wasting my tym.

TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries by 3sha4lyf: 6:11pm On Feb 05, 2009
@mamaa,

i must be frank with you. if you try getting a new passport, then just zero ur mind about even going to EUROPE or even USA as a whole. Lemme give you a true life experience i witnessed. I was at the french embassy sometime ago. before me was a lady who dey travel like say tomorro no dey. She was even abroad and realised her passport was expiring soon. She sent it to the embassy for renewal and was refused FOR THE FIRST TIME. She really didnt know why. she reapplied. luckily for her, that was the period when you must show in person at the embassy for biometric bla bla. So she came to the French Embassy and applied. When it was time for her interview, they took her biometrics i.e fingerprints FOR THE FIRST TIME. Later the Officer asked " WHERE IS YOUR OTHER PASSPORT" and she replied "I dont have another passport' and then the 0fficer said " THINK VERY WELL, YOU HAVE ANOTHER PASSPORT; IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER IF YOU SAID THAT THE PASSPORT WAS MISSING. AND EVEN IF IT WAS MISSING, WHY DID YOU HAVE TO CHANGE YOUR NAME IN THIS NEW PASSPORT" The woman still insisted she had no other passport. Then the Officer told her to come the next day to pick up her passport, as usual. Now when we got outside the embassy, i asked her how far. She said she actually had another passport (P1)which she uses to travel to countries like Dubai, Jerusalem, Oman, etc but NEVER TO EUROPE OR USA and that this passport (P2) was wat she uses to travel to European countries and USA. Mayb thats why she was denied the first time.

So my brada, think twice before you compund your issue ok. Its better you reapply with that passport and get refused 10 times cos it may affect you in the future, on way or the other. Read another post of a woman on NL who said her other passport had an error with her name so she didnt use it again, yet they refused her for deciet that she had no other passport
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries by 3sha4lyf: 11:20am On Jan 24, 2009
funkybaby, b/body, thanks a gr8 deal,

Just to get ur ideas on this issue.

A school in the UK comes into Nigeria for their interview/On-the-spot admission on 8th December, 2008, my friend goes for it, passes, and was given an Offer of Admission letter on the 11th of Dec, which reached her by 13th. She was given an advice on the fees, and that the real letter for Visa application and other documents ie admission, letter of confirmation, etc would be sent to her immediately dey recieve a particular amount of the fees, somewat 49%. She makes payment into 18th,hoping to get confirmation. Then the public holidays set in and nothing could be done as banks wer closed. Work resumed 5th January, she was called by the bank that the funds returned cos of bla bla reasons and trust Nigerian Bank error the funds wer returned since there was no rectification of the error within 5 days.

Another payment order was made immediately on 7th January, 2009 and the school recieves it, sends the documents of admission for 5th febuary, 2009 to her by 9th January, 2009, she recieves them by 13th January, 2009 and goes to Lagos to apply by 15th January, 2009.Its been 5 working days now after she tracked her applicatio0n on the VFS site n it keeps saying "Forwarded to d BHC".

My Question.
1. What is the fate of this visa application?

2. Would the ECO or whoever say its too short a period to apply for student's visa?

3. Does the "Expected time of return" for her visa fall btwn d 5-10 working days duration?

4. What more is der to do? She must be in the UK by 2nd of Febuary, all things being equal,

5 Any other advices, observations, notations etc.

6. Thanks for the time, n response(s)
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa Processing Time by 3sha4lyf: 9:44pm On Jan 23, 2009
@ jamly

I guess you have to understand that they went on holiday during the festive period. they wer shut down from that 25th December 2008 week till 5th or 12th of January 2009. So calculate at most 15 WORKING DAYS from that time and see if there's still a delay. Then u can panic and ask dem how far by call/email. Goodluck.
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries by 3sha4lyf: 12:35pm On Jan 22, 2009
Pls I need to know these
1) Pls whats the latest time u can apply for a Student's visa?

2) What is d least duration of stay you can be given for Student visa?

3) How long does it take for a student's visa to be issued?

4) Is it possible to come out within 5 working days even if you wer told to check back within 10-15 working days?

5) Any need to call the Embassy? or VFS and ask "How far"?

6) Will they think you are desperate and probably refuse you?

7) Can the VFS courrier your documents to u or you must go back to Lagos/ Abuja and pick them up?

Thanks for your rapid responses

TravelRe: Arik Air Is A Hoax And A Scam! by 3sha4lyf: 12:00pm On Jan 22, 2009
Why all these noises? The aim of the forum was to reveal wat the young fella had encountered during his escapade with Arik. He has said his ordeal and spoke his mind.

i believe that something worth doing is worth doing well. Why is it that even though we wanna be advanced like the Western World, we still wann follow in their errors too? Even if mishaps happens abroad, thats not a criteria or a yardstick to permit such in 9ja. We all must have had same or similar experiences with these airlines, Money no easy to come by so i believe that for every kobo we spend, we should get value for it.

Correction in Nigerian system can only be right if we deal with situations like they are really offenses.

The basic idea here is for Arik air officials, and other airlines too, to take correction and see to it that such errors dont occur again. Because if we decide not to fly with them again and take other airlines, them go loose, believe it or not. =N=1 loss is still a loss.

Airliners, TAKE NOTE
TravelRe: Check Out My Refusal And Tbaba83 (m) Re: Uk Visa - Visa Appeal Process by 3sha4lyf: 11:50am On Jan 22, 2009
Very smart of you to notice their format for rejection. My advice to any one applying for a visa to anywhere in the world is PRAYERS. Pray for that particular Commision and the person sitting on your case. Having read people's complaint on this forum, I know that some of them are just refused for no reason but mere photocopy of other people's reason. If you like package all the packageables and have all the haveables, if God says no way, it's gameover for you.

So you need to pray for the person sitting on ur case i.e the BHCommissioner, that your passport will recieve his favor. Who knows, maybe the day he is to treat your case, that day, his wife will call asking for a divorce or so (lol) and he would transfer that agression to your passport.

Now even if you know they made a mistakein refusing you a visa and they give you a chance to appeal, Appealing alone is stress and tension of another level. You have to take charge of another expense with Lawyers, Telephone companies, Internet Service providers, etc. to track your appeal, whereas you should hae been resting in your desired country of relocation.

Reapplying is not even a good option cos you spend money to do the same thing again, wait the same duration of time again for a response and if God is still not in your agenda, you face a refusal again.

My dear brethen, the Ultimate solution is PRAYERS, backed up with PRAISES and THANKSGIVING.

Daddy Adeboye, Enoch .A. once said that "Where Prayer fails, PRAISE superceeds". Be wise my pals.

Goodluck to you all,
