SeverusSnape:Am bad with monikers but hers will stick for open-mindedness, depth and sagacity. Sincerely I am very impressed |
MizMyColi:A very simple but very intelligent woman that I would love to interact with..... It's refreshing to know that there are still Nigerian ladies who are this cerebral |
I am Igbo but I think Igbos aren't even ready for Biafra; Igbos don't have a uniting will to live together and build something, at least that is the reality I perceive The agitation should be internal first. The Igbos must stand together as oone first before they can succeed Ans like someone has said already; a country built alon only oil wells will never proogress The problem with Nigeria is not lack of resources but those of leasership If a proper vison is not concieved, Biafra too will be another Zoo and that will be even worse than the current Nigeria What baffles me though is that as much as the south west and north abhor the east politically and while some express their open hatred for Igbos, they hate to hear the word Biafra, they are distressed to know that the Igbos want to leave Nigeria; I think the reason is just the oil which they have internalised as. No man's oil" Until Nigeria is built on true justice and freedom of association it can not progress! This is why I don't see Buhari making any headway after four years The moment we discussed our unity as a nation freely and terms of staying together and live by it, that is the day we set our fooot on the paths to prosperity |
since SS say they are better off with Nigeria thaan biafra then let the North and the SW keep on harassing thiem on top of their Oil resoources Igbos are already moving; when Buhari is done with their leaders in SS perhaps they will wake up Igbos should stop all these empathy for the dumb SS, after they will sey warri no dey carry last The problem with Igbos is they like to stand for what they deem injustice even against their own fortunes Once again the SS must be allowed to face the raggae and blues alone Igbos are better ooff alone that with the soouth south and thier cowardly behavious |
naijareferee:Am proud of my Igbo heritage but hey I don't believe in bragging or insulting others; on the contray I respect and admire the good in others to enrich mine |
I see Buhari drinking full from the cup of regret and disgrace; the only way he can prevent that now, is to admit all the good works of the Past administration which He and his party are claiming to boost their propaganda purchased popularity; An example is the talk of subsidy and petrol pricing. When Deziani announced that pump price has been reduced to N87 the APC made many Nigerians believe that they could offer them a far better deal, even the garrulous Gbanga the driest comedian said the N10 change was not what Nigerians were clamouring for: 5 months after Nigerians do not know how much subsidy government pays per litre, GEJS price of fuel remains the same, the subsicy scam that buhari accussed GEJ for has not been exposed Buhari may have one the elections without going too far in propaganda and deception I believe in karma; whatever you sow that u must surely reap |
owobokiri:When I read intelligent rejoinder like yours, I find it needless to comment Though I had commented on a related, earlier thread where some mindless lads and lasses where hailing Fashola to the skies and I didnt get it! It was then that what you just wrote dawned on me on double standards and clannish sentiments got to me Nigeria is a joke that benefits the so-called political elites and the mega rich! This system is far from workable; My standard of assessing governace has been in creative management leadership which has a strong vison that it "drags" it's even unwilling citizens to see and not just one that is purely adminstrative |
I am not following the screen cos I got serious deadlines to meet up but I will like to here the summary of the response he gave on the over-invoicing of the boreholes, websites and even the allocation of state government lands to family and friends in his twilght days in office The strength oof a man's character is noot in his power of garb but content of character Perhaps we are saying it's okay to reward yourself with government money once you have "worked"; In what ways did Fashola develop enterprenurship? All the roads that were contracted what we're the procurement process? What were the ways he made governace trabsparent? Like Rochas admitted, even a goat can award contracts, so when there is money flowing what is the appluase that contracts are awarded even with borrowed funds?? I am not moved by grand talks cos this is why we will oonly remain at this level for a loong time |
BlaqCoffee109:The most sensible post so far People do not understand that their power is not in the voter's card, which is useful only at the polls every four years The person who gets to elected office (not power) is your equal and not your superior Tinubu or Fayose and even Buhari is not more Nigerian than you who casts your votes for him But my brother this is the sad reality of democracy even gloobally: elected officials are lords and kings and you and I are only commoners who are at best stepping stones to "power" I believe a lot in grassroot leadership as the only way to upstage this nasty modus operandi |
I am here to check names |
Buhari is a two faced lying bastard He said he won't delve into issue beyond GEJS tenure and now he order the extradition of a man who has been tried, convicted and pardoned, while he is busy globe trotting with OBJ who has a confirmed haliburton corruption case on his head Zombie buharists won't see because they lack no intellect, all they see is fuel gotten from the same balyesa sold at 50 bucks There is no time for the entire south south to agitate for 100 percent resource control From an Igbo man that hates Injustice and double standard |
chowlade:My perception of your post is that them stem from your personal experience and you are highly observant, however I have this to say! On alpha male attitude The reality is most times when a boy starts having sex he begins to feel like a Man; it gets worse when he sees women as a game to chase and a prey to devour, a territory to conquer; To be MANLY is sexy and attractive but we must understand what defines the Manliness we desire in the love interest Virgins laugh like kids, because their hearts are pure and their spirit is free, unlike their non-virgins counterparts who are calculated, superficial, cold and so on If you were a virgin yourself you won't mind to be "owned" by your virgin boyfriend These lads have their hearts fresh and viable like a sticky envelope edge; when they choose, it's for something very serious; and you are their One and Only; unlike what is obtainable with non-virgins who are wont to have at three girlfriends at the same time Marrying early is the solution, most virgins are over ripe for marriage hence the clumsiness and Manlessness you opined, which is only a phase actual not a permenent structure |
Nigeria's problem is tribalsim SW and North speaks of one Nigeria becos of the NIGER DELTA OIL RESOURSCES FASHOLA IS NOTHING BUT THIEF HE ISNT EVEN AN OMOLUWABI BY THE THE YORUBA ASSESSMENT BUHARI SHOULD BE BEWARE OF GEJS MISTAKE, THIS IS HIS LAST CHANCE TO UNDO THE ILLS WHICH HIM AND HIS MILITIRICIAN COLLEAGUES DID TO NIGERIA |
Nigerians are really dumb that is why politicians will continue to use their thick skulls till they kingdom come Fashola has been whipped into line after he "dobaled" for his theiving gofather Tinubu A humbled Fashola shaking the new errand boy of Lagos who exposed a tip of the stealing he did while in office and some fools are hear hailing a looter of the public purse and reducing it to "he is no saint F |
freecocoa:You are done with what you are convinced religion means or represents I guess I know where it is all coming from |
DaBullIT:Igbos are hated for reasons they can't even express Yet when such news sating Igbos should stay in Nigeria they are happy |
onlyme12:I see the thing that got to GEJ get to this man too Anyone who gets to a position through the direct influence of dark personalities...it's only a matter of time |
CHIAAGRO:LOL I can assure that slap was proboked by years of stories of financial failures from the SIL But slapping his SIL is a poorly judged act |
The reason some of us didn't support GMB is simply because he too, like his fellow northern elders won't hear of fiscal federalism Someone who says he likes integrity will stand by justice but that is not PMB Just like Odumakin, we have outgrown Buhari. We know that Nigeria's problem isn't corruption, which it has been shown is not a PDP issue( Fashola sef is a common thief of public funds) but the right to self determination and self rule within a united country Even with the best doctors in a surgical room, without the right diagonisis the pain staking operation would bring cosmetic relief to the patient |
MISSNORA:The grass looks greener from afar Africa needs strong intuitions and not strong individuals |
ademega:Guy have you heard that gas pipelines have been vandlaised since APC got o power? It's all a strtegy and he heinous game worked out for them Why hasn't price of petrol gone down too since buhari won't tale nonsense? Didn't they say the subsidy was a scam? I have just confirmed that a good number of educated Nigerians are daft, but the politicians knew these before I realsied it myself and have used it to enrich themselves We were calling timubu names not knowing that fashola sef is a common thief of public funds If light is all you need to watch season film then hop along. Some of us have our eyes set on a grander agenda for nigeria |
ademega:What's with this constant light linked with Buhari and APC, How many power plants did Buhari build in 100 days ? Power generation plants take years to buildSome people were vandalising gas pipelines continously even when they knew they can tap the gas! Obviously it was to ensure Nigerians didn't have light during the campaigning to get more points for themselves That's why Tinubu and his likes will see people like you as Zombies who can't read between the lines, who can't ask critical questions? Who can be swayed by cheap sentiments from tribalism to religion I know one thing for sure which is Karma is a bitch, whatver you sow you surely must reap |
Just saw this and am wondering what is the idea behind this? What are pastors selling Christianity as these days ![]()

PARENTING WISDOM 101 1. If your child lies to you often, it is because you over-react too harshly to their inappropriate behaviour. 2. If your child is not taught to confide in you about their mistakes, you have lost them. 3. If your child had poor self-esteem, it is because you advice them more than you encourage them. 4. If your child does not stand up for themselves, it is because from a young age you have disciplined them regularly in public. 5. If your child takes things that do not belong to them, it is because when you buy them things, you don't let them chose what they want. 6. If your child is cowardly, it is because you help them too quickly. 7. If your child does not respect other people's feelings, it is because instead of speaking to your child, you order and command them. 8. If your child is too quick to anger, it is because you give too much attention to misbehaviour and you give little attention to good behaviour. 9. If your child is excessively jealous, it is because you only congratulate them when they successfully complete something and not when they improve at something even if they don't successfully complete it. 10. If your child intentionally disturbs you, it is because you are not physically affectionate enough. 11. If your child is openly defiant, it is because you openly threaten to do something but don't follow through. 12. If your child is secretive, it is because they don't trust that you won't blow things out of proportion. 13. If your child talks back to you, it is because they watch you do it to others and think its normal behaviour. 14. If your child doesn't listen to you but listens to others, it is because you are too quick to make decisions. 15. If your child rebels it is because they know you care more about what others think than what is right. Please share to parents and parents-to-be. |
