Desyner: Web service is service provided by another web that u can use.
OK, thanks for the definition. How then does one go about ''manipulating'' the web service for the task peter087 wants, is there a provision for that or one still needs to crawl the web service?
Desyner: A web service can be programatically manipulated thereby saving u the stress of entering you links into the search bar and comparing results manually. It is harder to implement but less stressful once implemented
Probably i dont understand what you mean by ''web service'' and the means of manipulating it, but what's the difference between that and using google api to programmatically enter the url links?
delishpot: Now I get your point. When one man is down it is what others who are up do or dont do that helps inspire him to be his best. That is why every religion teaches love because God knows that we all need someone to support us in time(s) of need. For the one under preasure I would say go look for someone around you or your circle who would listen even if they cant afford to help financialy. When I was under pressure and lost my parents first thing I did was talk to the few friends who made themselves available to me. But in all honesty my view of life is more esoteric(not occultic) these days. it is hard to explain such things without worsening the sisters condition and creating more doubt. Such a person doesnt need only explanations she needs action and support. We can not be happy everyday of our lives but sadness should not be a lifelong event either. Some people say hapiness is finding satisfaction where ever you find yourself but I know that sometimes it is hard to be satisfied with the problems life throws at us. The best we can do is to look back at the happy days and look forward to happier times as we battle and work towards overcoming lifes difficulties at the moment. Each individual situation is different hence there are no set rules to handle such maters. What works for Jane may not work for James. Hence I can not give you a clear cut answer. These are my personal opinion though others may differ.
Desyner: Speak for yourself alone. @OP, i believe the key to solving it is to locate a web service that can search out the url with good precision and compare their location to the site of the people you gave the link to.
You can crawl the websites. If it's supposed to be in their homepage, write a code to crawl the home page periodically and check if the link is in the page.
delishpot: You mean to make others happy personally or to make others find their own happiness? What ever the question, I would still say do what you love doing. There is no single rule and only you can not inspire hapiness in one man. We are like sponges you play your part ie what you live doing and someone else pkays his part. Its like building a house. The person who does roofing and the one who installs the electricity and the plunber all have a rile to play. That is why we are all encouraged to do good because we all have different talents and ideas and areas we are good at. Note that I am not talking about people who delight in causing pain to others.
Hmm. Considering variables like, marriage or family issues, bullies at workplace, poverty level and so on, how then can you logically explain happiness even if a person does what he/she loves doing.
For example, say Miss XYZ is a girl from a very poor city in Mozambique who loves plaiting hair or something, but there are "life variables" like Poverty which means she is always worried about how to fend for her younger ones, Poor Education which means she has less chance of getting a good job, Bullies where she stays that hate her so much and would do anything to make her not happy, Father's Health that she is very concerned about because she can't aforrd the hospital bill and many others "life variables"(like i call it) that exist around her life; Even if she does what she loves doing which is plaiting and styling hair, how can you logically explain the derivation of happiness in this scenario? Thanks.
delishpot: We all do o my brother. Even me sef sometimes I need the support of brothers and sisters to calm me down. Okay. Maybe a child or a new project(like a child needing attention) I am still honing in on my sensors any which way may God see you (us) through. Remember that someone is rooting for your happiness and victory over here.
Ya, a project. Thanks. What's your philosophy towards "happiness for others"?
KingEbukasBlog: What North Koreans do is venerate Kim as the Supreme Leader since the means of production are overseen by Him . In Confucianism , its adherents including the religious atheists venerate and worship the spirits of the ancestors ; in Catholicism , its adherents venerate Mary , the mother of Jesus . But these entities are not seen as gods though they are worshiped and venerated by the adherents .
The atheist Confucians also erect alters of worship for these spirits and even perform rituals . We've seen Catholics bow down and worship the statue of Mary . But these spirits and Mary are not gods . The same thing happens with North Korea .
The worship and veneration of Kim does not mean he is a god in North Korea , its the way totalitarian governments subjugate and control their masses . There is no such conferment of the godhood titleship to the North Korean Supreme Leader .
Enough said my brother .
Hmm, makes sense. The word "atheism" and "god" seems to be a problem here.
Never mind, the word "atheism" is fu{ked up. Finally i understand what you saying.
KingEbukasBlog: North Korea is officially an atheist state . Quora is like a forum and discussions on Quora are based on personal opinions .
And according to official stats over 70 percent of North Koreans are atheists.
Any atheist denying North Korea as an atheist state is either ignorant or is propagating falsehood
Wowww A citizen of the state in question has written about the indoctrination in his country, and you are here in Nigeria disregarding it as "personal opinion". SMH Dogma as usual
Aren't China, Japan, Norway, Czech Republic, Denmark etc not also mostly occupied by atheists even more than NK? You really need to take a break from this irrelevant arguments...
hopefulLandlord: Kim Jung Un is an autotheist and an autotheist is NOT an atheist
majority of North Koreans worship him and regard him to be god yet the western propaganda keeps asserting they're all atheists, its actually akin to claiming the few Jews who believed Jesus to be god while he was alive are atheists, let that nonsense sink in
I wonder how they even got the stat that they're atheists, I mean think about it for a minute, for a North Korean to claim there's no god is worse than a Saudi Arabian doing the Same cuz it means you straight up claim you don't believe Kim and his family exist which is a Felony, except and I suspect the question was rephrased and stats manipulated to make them atheists on paper OR the stat was gotten anonymously which is even worse cuz anonymously gotten data is open to massive manipulation
Wilgrea7: thanks ..i most definitely enjoyed it.. thanks to the video, I'll start researching on the african origins of world religions and lots more... thanks once again
I knew you would like it. And i also got motivated to research more on african history starting with some of his books.
delishpot: Words from a wise man. I am sorry it is a video and some who are interested may not be able to afford the MB needed to watch it. Agreed that there were some things that needed fine tunning in African cultures and custom(yes we change some things as we evolve nothing was perfect or is perfect even now) but we as Africans need to sit down and restructure what our Race should be in the nearest future.
Woww, i really love this man. Can't believe i never knew this man before now. I did a quick search on him and he was a historian apparently and has great books i would love to read up on starting with this or this
Though i think there was a scent of racism around, even though he was making good points regarding religion and history.
DoctorAlien AnonyNymous MrMontella Hopefullandlord Wilgrea7 OtemAtum Hahn Dalaman Catfishbilly and maybe KingEbukasBlog i think you guys would love this man.
@ KingEbukasBlog I know you don't like atheism, but you're smart enough to detect incoherence. Why do you always paint Atheism evil based on what few atheists out of many did? Also being aware of the fact that atheism is simply disbelief in God and does not have any further doctrine.
The atrocities carried out by those men you mentioned are based off of their personal standards and that alone. Atheism does not magically put thirst for murder and evil in one's heart.
Again atheism does not have any further doctrine apart from disbelief in God, any other opinion like eternity, morality, evolution and so on are that of atheists(men) not atheism itself. Unlike religions where there are laid down doctrines to address this sort of issue.
Dogma alert! I no wan argue ooo Just saying my mind... Btw, Craig's point in that video is only valid if indeed there is an objective moral standard. But i don't want to go down this road, Dalaman has addressed this countless of times.
SaulRazor: My major problem with your story is why did you never report the said guy to the police even after he beat you up ,smashed your tablet and then came to Ur house with a gun to kill you? And what kind of business did you have with such a character in the first place
delishpot: How are you sir and how is life treating you?
I'm fine, thank you Sir. Hope you good too?
From the vibes I feel you need some encouragement at the moment
Ya, a very big one. But don't we all?
[(Also, I dont know why but I feel a child whose interests you are trying to support at this moment it may or may not be yours though) Please let me know if I am on point with that assumption.
urheme: See your finger like wetin dem dey see for bush........yes i hate gods......did you say "may be" i thought you were sure...so i will slaughter you.
KingEbukasBlog: Are you open to possibility that 2+2 may not be 4 after all ?
That's not LOGICAL in my world and beyond my range of perception. If indeed there is any logical possibility, i will accept it when properly scrutinized.
Hmm . Good for you bro .
Thanks to Jesus.
Its something so important that I need to develop , its more like a desideratum now
Hmmm. Seems this is more interesting than programming to you. Hope you get your desired rewards.
Yes my brother ! Im happy for you I know you can do more !
KingEbukasBlog: He became an atheist and reverted to Christianity that's where the concept of contrast was applied . He could see the difference between the two : it is apparent Christianity is way better and he now appreciates Christianity more than ever .
Can this illustration also be used for Christianity to Atheism?
You haven't changed even after being away for a long time . I expected something much better than this bro
Ok, I now believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal lord and saviour. Happy now! I'm dead serious.
KingEbukasBlog: Contrast is a powerful way of seeing the better side of things . Its great that you had a taste of the two sides and this has made you appreciate Christianity more . Intelligence vs Vacuity , Logic vs Inanity , Wisdom vs Foolishness , I mean I understand why abjuring atheism has made you a better Christian .
God bless you
Nonsense based out of bias, as usual.
Others have had a taste of Christianity and moved on to Islam or Buddhism, how does your concept of "Contrast" apply there? Which side would you deem better in those cases?
You've not even determined what urheme meant by "he was an atheist" maybe it was based off of ignorance or the usual illogical past personal hate for god like in the "God's Not Dead Movie"
It's not like there are no data science and machine learning coders in Nigeria(I also do data science), it's just that the popularity of the field in general is suppressed by the need of the field amongst Nigerian companies and different organizations at large.
Take Natural Language Processing for example: Foreign companies or even government agencies cherish this because of the need to ascertain people's sentiments towards their services amongst other benefits, so as to make effective decisions. How many Nigerian government agencies or businesses wey u know get time for this one?
To even worsen the case, is that we are generally not tech inclined(at least to an extent), so most time the benefits of data science might not always be within our range of perception.
I started out with linear regression and learning automated stock predictions.(though i traded virtually with variables ) It was fun but you don't need me to point out to you that the need for this field(though important!) is not just "there" with the general Nigerian mentality towards stock trading. Even my lecturer made a joke one day in class, that his dividend one time was not even up to the paper that it was printed on.
Statistics from stackoverflow last year revealed that only 1.6% and 0.1% of programmers on the site are into data science and Machine learning respectively. Obviously there would majorly be spread amongst countries in the west and Asia where there are more tech inclined organizations. So this should logically draw another reason when comparing with Nigeria.
So when growth of data science and ML services is seemingly "not there yet", most Nigerian programmers will definitely move towards web and android where the money is quick and relatively sure than spending time on k-means clustering.
And finally is the cost of data science services and the time it takes to learn compared to others. But we are getting there...
AnonyNymous: lol @op you must be new here, you didn't mention the older members like winner01 (who has apparently given up on NL religion section), 4evergod, donffd, dorox, cloudgoddess, sonoflucifer, and even myself (though I joined in 2015) Man, nice posts sha, you funny
