because their known duties were "messages to men of God", but the Holyspirit does this now and others like "guidance". So i want to know what their duties now are(if any) and explain those that seems conflicting(if any).

Everything that God allowed to happen is for a reason.
When there was no evil, Lucifer felt he was equal with God. And because failure was non existent and unknown to them some fellow angels had the same belief with Lucifer and of course God had to show them that they were not equals and that they were not infallible like God as they thought. That was how Lucifer became devil.

We are not programmed robots, we are created to learn and learning takes process just like our growth is not instantaneous but takes a process. Evil is one of our learning instruments.
The presence of evil and failure has made us to experience the redemption power of God, the power of God to protect, to provide to deliver us. It has also made us to experience God"s mercy, to know that God can be angry, that God can love and can hate, that God can forgive etc. Some of these attributes of God would have been unknown to us without the presence of evil. But God wants us to know them.
If there was no evil and faillibility at all, we would ve felt that we are equal with God but then God didn't create us (both human and angels) to be his equals or to rub shoulders with him. With the experience of Lucifer, the remaining angels in heaven must have learnt their lesson that their perfect state is solely powered by God. Also when we get to heaven and be perfected, nobody will tell us that our perfection is solely by God's grace.
The universe belongs to God. He runs it as it pleases him and there's nothing you can do than what you are doing now which of course has no effect on God.

Your reason 4 God allowing evil is so that no being would rub shoulders with him.
Then why does he judge and get angry at things "He allowed to happen"?.
From ur explanation, it is his will to punish people eternally, who think there are equal with God, and then automatically playing out the consequence(evil), which 'he allowed'. Right?.

In the New Testament , an angel was sent to inform Mary and Jacob about Jesus . There were people that had encounters with angels , we have Paul ,Peter , Cornelius , Philip etc .

I've heard testimonies of angels saving people from ritualists or when they are in a hopeless situation or offer help when they are on a precipice of danger .

Abeg, simply state their duties here on earth.
There cant be messengers, since the HS gives wisdom and only says what he has heard from Heaven (message) according to scriptures.
Mary, wisemen,.., are technically classified as old testament (dawn of grace), some christians also say that angels appearing during those early days (in relation to now), was to propel the infant gospel.

Moreso, those testimonies u mentioned; some xtians call it the work of d HS.

Now(dawn of grace), Faith comes by hearing the Word(romans 10:17), and deep understanding comes through the aid of d HS(1cor2:8-12), therefore angels are not responsible for bringing salvation(even wen u look at d case of Cornelius).

So simply state their duties and explian the ones that seems conflicting. Thanks.

1. Believe there is a God
2. Look for a science to explain it, maybe there's some new revolutionary science, etc
3. Look around for the visual effects or props.

Like I said, I don't refute miracles.
I have actually watched a footage of a woman being cured of bladder cancer through "Chi-energy" (and yes it was live streaming) and a man transferring electric charges through his hands.
But the concept behind chi is not in anyway attached to religion, but "mindset, affirmations and nature", and I think that is also one of the psychological concept of the scientific "PLACEBO EFFECT".
And as we know the reason behind the placebo is still inconclusive, so don't quote me on this, I can only give u the underlying principles.

I recently read about a blind man receiving sight through placebo, and if the crippled man was limbless(or very close to) and not a relatively minor injury then i don't believe it.
