Arsenal fans don't know football history.That is why they support Arseanl in the first place .I have never met a Nigerian Arsenal fan who is knowledgeable about football

I concede that Mr Odimegwu has the freedom to express his opinion as he sees fit.That is not in question.However he did not stop at that.He also spent the company's money to contribute to the effort to bribe legislators to support the third term campaign.

Why should Nigerians spend money on the products of a company,which company will then use part of the money to finance efforts to force on us a constituitional ammedment that will turn our country into a banana republic.We are in effect indirectly financing our own subjugation.

Also Mr Odimegwu's actions are an abuse of his office and are actually illegal by misusing company resources for politcal machinations that involve bribery and corruption.

Our country has no chance in hell of ever developing if all we do is sit on our backside,complain and do nothing.We can take some token actions that signify our displeasure at how the country is being run and serve as a deterrent to others.

I recognise that because of the failure of third term effort people are prepared to forgive and forget but we should not be so forgiving.We should show the same reslience that politicians show in embezzling money.

Little acts like this won't cost us a thing and might even spare us from liver damage.

It can fall down to those levels quicker than u imagine.because pf the high price of oil,there is greater investment in oil exploration than ever b4 to find oil to meet up increasing demand from countries like China and India.This extra investment at some point will lead to over supply of oil surpassing demand from India and China.This will lead to a fall in the price of oil.If u think of it, the price of oil in 1980 adjusted for inflation was about $100 per barrel b4 it crashed subsequently.The subsequent years saw increasing demand for oil but the extra investment spurred by earlier high oil prices led to oversupply.The crash in oil prices meant that investment was stifled leading to today's supply problems .

Also the high oil prices will lead to greater exploration of alternative sources of energy creating even more downward pressure on the price of oil.

Improvement in the political situation in the Middle East will also lead to lower oil prices.

All these add up to one major lesson-Save windfall oil revenues now that oil prices are high because the future won't be so rosy. Any spending if necessary, should be geared towards investment in other sectors of the economy to diversify the economic base and lessen our dependence on oil.

My point about Globacom is that there is such a lack of capital in Nigeria that the biggest coys owe their existence to shady military men.

Improving mangerial expertise can be acheived through world class educational instituitions.Our own Harvard Biz school.With good education Nigerians can obtain senior mgt positions with reputable international coys and gain practical experience which they can transfer to Nigerian coys
