I'd advice you pick up the offer: (1) you build up your work experience (2) you get yourself busy and enlightened (3) ...you garner more experience, although, you didn't tell us the location and other commitments.... 1 Like 1 Share |

I once worked in a company were I was made the Manager, Accountant, Driver, Car washer Errand boy, Personal Assistant and my work timing is from 7:am to 9pm Monday to Saturday and on Sunday, my boss will call me to drive his wife and children to his church while he carries empty car at my back and I was paid 25,000. I did this job to the best of my capacity and I grew this man's company from noting to something and the company was the talk of the town till I left for my NYSC. My boss employed 4 persons to do the job only me was doing and the least take home salary among the 4 guys was 60,000. During my NYSC, I heard the company collapsed and noting is happening there. My boss started looking for me to revive it and I told him it was too late. I am still unemployed but is better than modern slavery in the name of job. Poster please run as your leg could carry you. 5 Likes |

Ghostty:Reject it. It is because people accept these kinds of offer that employers keep giving them. If they keep rejecting these offers and the companies need someone, they will be forced to prove the offer. Contribute your own quota to the change you want to see. 2 Likes |

This is pure Oppression, anyways my sincere advise is Dont accept this insult, as i cant call it offer, try and think outside the Box by learning a trade, its not too late... Put your certificate aside and learn something, your University education will propel your new trade, it will always stand you out... See yourself as an employer of labour in the nearest future... Instead of searching for the non available white colar jobs that cannot sustain you. 2 Likes |

I guess we finished service almost the same time, got a kind of job in a manufacturing company around March this year. 35k, 7-7 Monday to Saturday, public holiday is not included. The pain of the job is, my boss can insult u anyhow, he believes u don't know anything and can fire u anytime. Brother to cut thE story short I stopped last month and start pursing another job. 1 Like |

My dear friend, take the job and be first and foremost employed. Staying at home doesn't give you a chance to meet people, but going out daily will give you a chance to meet people and get information about better job openings. My sincere advice. 4 Likes |

The biggest joke I have seen so far with the comments "experience". I mean when u see a job that experience can be useful, you will know from the job condition. OP, you are better off than this, worst is the job will basically just drain you, you may not even get enough time for yourself talk more of extra to keep up with job search. What do I know anyways? 7 Likes |

Let approach this issue with torch light of maths factotums. #35k per month divided by a month of 30days equals to #1166 per a working day of 13 hours. #1166 divided by 13 hours your pay per hour is #89.7 approx #90. In words Ninety naira per hour. Think about it. In live in New York in Nigeria having access to light 24/7 1 Like |

I've faced such experience before on same job specification with the Chineese company.. They are good in over labouring workers with less pay at the same time giving you conditions instead of pampering you. No conscience at all. Run for your life bro |
Re: Accept This Job Offer Or Continue Job Hunting??? by Nobody: 3:33pm On Oct 02, 2019 |
McAausim:Bro, just think through this before telling him to accept the offer. He works about 11 hours daily which will drastically reduce his time for job hunting. He will be so tired whenever he gets home to even apply for jobs. He works Monday to Saturday, including public holidays which will make him not to have time for other interviews if there's any. This job will steal his time and opportunities. My advice, don't accept please. I once rejected working with a firm because I won't have time for church and it turned out that my decision was ok. Few months later I got a better job in another state with another firm which is 5 hours (9am - 2pm)Monday to Friday. 2 Likes |
