And I wonder why it is the guy that must work on his conversation skills and keep the communication on.Is friendship/ relationship a one sided thing? Or communication a gender thing? .
Bros I'm telling you, it's just a very flawed mentality. But honestly, a vast majority of our girls actually follow this pattern. Atleast in the preliminary stages a guy does 90% of the work to keep a conversation going.

See what Nairaland has become... Just see the kind of post that hits FP.... I don't even know what to comment here... So I should start telling a 25yr old guy how to woo a lady or What? How is this our problem...To think that a University student like you can't even construct a proper English sentence and instead of you to focus on your studies you 're here complaining about how you suck with gurlz...I tire oo

I'm Confused, I Don't Want To Lose Her

There is this girl that I met in lecture theater, we sat down together, we chatted but it was concerning the lecture.

After the lecture, I disappeared because I'm this kind of very shy person, I didn't know what to talk to her aside the lecture.

So I saw her on Facebook, I added her and chatted her, up. It happen that evening I wanted to go eat in a restaurant, I told her she can join me jokingly. Surprisingly, she came, we talked but it was mostly about me and herself. After, we finished eating, I told her to come and know my place, but when she came I was nervous and she did not stay up to 5 mins. I told her we need to go, that her roomie maybe worried about her. The next day when she saw me in school, she was excited to see me.

After then our communication sucks, I will call her and be asking all this boring questions, before I know it, sometimes she will see my chat and will not reply. Now I'm confuse, I don't know what to do again. I don't wanna lose her.

What do you suggest I do from here? pardon my grammatical blunder.

What you must understand is that you aren't perfect and therefore don't expect perfection. See any "setback'' as a learning process. In years time, you'll be laughing over it. If you want to know what imperfection really, simply get a girl pregnant.

One way of being self-confidence is for you to be open. Tell her you're a shy guy. That is what is making you so self-conscious, hoping she won't notice it. You defang it by coming out. That'll loosen the tension a lot eventually. It will enable you to be natural.

You'd be shocked how many people are shy. A lot of forming is rooted in shyness and lack of confidence, especially phonetics. She will help you loosen up. When men try to act the big guy when he is with a lady, it is also rooted in a lack of self-confidence

Keep exposing yourself to your object of fear and the fear will ebb eventually.

When conversing, try and be yourself. Focus on the quality of what you say and not the quantity. You'll only begin to flow the more confident you are.

I see no problem here my guy. If confidence doesn't come natural to you, trying to wear it may put you in an awkward position. Don't become a loquacious clown because you want to make her laugh.
My guy, if I've learnt one thing in life, it's never try to impress any woman with niceties if it doesn't come natural. By not trying to impress them, they become puzzled. They are used to being center of attraction. Don't make her feel like anything. Another guy is treating her like rag somewhere.

Keep your option of crushes open o. Don't crush on only one girl. Crush on as many girls as possible, even the most beautiful. No fear my guy. Las las all of them dey bend down piss.

Remember!!! Never try to impress women. Boring and shy is better than awkward loquaciousness.

Relax....the bare necessities of life would come to you especially, romance. Time and chance happen to us all

The best quote I've read so far

is there any book you can suggest for me?

Read
Mastery - Greene
Outliers - Gladwell
Grit - Angelina

In that order

Law of Success - Napoleon

Then master a few money making skills
I’d suggest Tech
Python, JavaScript and photoshop/after effects

Then read some dangerous books
How to dominate women - Gary Brodsky
The art of seduction - Greene

You’d be good and Sound

It's very easy, 2 things are involved here
1. It's either you are still young, asin very young/over grown baby OR
2. Your head is blank....Asin it lacks basic ideas to flow in communication...

Just be yourself, na talk dey bring talk

Girl wey you dey cry for has probably gone fucking in another niggas crib.

You swallow lizard for mouth? What was stopping you from making your intentions known from the first day, just tell her one big talk;

"I can't seem to understand my self since I left you the previous time, I'm losing it and have got no coherent way to put this. Do I like that I've got nothing to say when we see? Not inherently, but please understand that I may be meandering and trying to lull but I've got you and your thoughts full to the brim in my heart"
