Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves.

The above Quranic verse only confirmed what I said about the fact that it was the good tidings of Isaac and not Ismael that was given to Abraham, and when it was time to sacrifice the son, it was the Son whose good tidings was given (Isaac) that God asked Abraham to sacrifice and not the bastard child.
