LORDKing001: The dude was right in his story when he mention 2012 because man u fans really wanted Chelsea to lose that final as well as Arsenal fans so that they would be on the same page of not letting the cup with them. Tell ur own emotional story why u supported a particular team n try not to look for error in others story 2 Likes 1 Share |

Edwin van der Sar, May 21, 2008! There was so much drama in my community in the build up to that game. Over a thousand fans adorned in the colours - some in red; others in blue. I was neutral. Neutral because football fans to me were arrogant. Fanatical was another word I used to describe them. On the evening of May 20, 2008, goats were also adorned. Some wore blue paints while others wore red. They were going to be slaughtered after the event. Poor animals! Should the reds triumph, the blue animals would be the victim. The fate of the animals in red lied in the legs and heads of the men in the blue; and of course in the hands of the man between the woodworks! So much momentum! I observed with ectasy. What a moment! The largest viewing centre in my community had a capacity of a mere 200; a little higher perhaps. To be continued... 4 Likes |

2002. love Barca because of ronaldinho, and they where the only credible opponent of real Madrid that was laiden with top stars then. I supported the club till 2006/7 seasons then switch to my beloved Manchester United. the reasons for this switch was one, read different club histories on Wikipedia then I discovered no other club histories appeal to me as that of man utd,. two the club was an English side as I was not too thrilled by the laliga league. three the sir Alex Ferguson factor, He was the most influential coach in EPL if not Europe then. and I also prefer the weekend matches in EPL against Monday night games they were always having in laliga then. GGMU all the way now. 1 Like |

lexy500:See this one, racism that made saha, welbeck, anderson, lingard kings in man utd? If nisty boy and beckham where blacks what would you say then? SAF is just strict and doesnt tolerate show offs especailly on field, Btw how many times have you seen african players still sctive at 39 or even 36 like giggs or scholes. Epa had his reasons but racism wasnt one. 2 Likes |

Maybe it's the Red jersey, especially that "sharp" jersey or the great history or the players, I don't know or the stadium or the way we played I can't remember supporting Man utd at any year, I think I was born RED... I have always been a united... And there is something " magical" about united, can't explain... I think united choose you instead, not the other way round... Pride of England... I used to read complete football then in secondary school 1998/99 and I always read about Robbie Fowler. That guy was always on the news for scoring. Then came the great Gerrard. Since then, Liverpool has always run through my blood. Folks then thought I was weird. 8 Likes 1 Share |

Roberto Carlos took me to Madrid in 1996, but Raul Gonzales and San Iker Casillas made me fall in love with them. I can never forget the the year 2000 Finals against Valencia nor the 2002 finals vs Bayern Leverkusen, Raul showed his die hard attributes and Casillas was on fire people talk about Zizou’s goal but those guys were bomb 1 Like |

I started supporting Liverpool in 2005 The first match I watched was the Istanbul final against AC Milan. I was 8 years old then, my dad supported AC Milan and they were 3 goals up. I don't know where the faith came from but I keep telling my dad that the people in reds are still going to win. NEPA took off the light, nd my brother took me to watch the match outside. I slept peacefully that night and since then, I have been a die hard Liverpool fan. Well recognized in our vicinity coz I'm the only Liverpool fan around. I'm glad my years of patience is finally yielding results YNWA 8 Likes |

That win against Man utd in 2002 was my first match as a potential Arsenal fan. Though I started having soft spot for them when I heard a Nigerian Kanu Nwankwo is playing for them but I officially joined in that league winner at old Trafford, the goal scored by Sylvain Wiltord.. Thierry Henry finally stole my heart with his speed and skills. I received the nickname Henry back in my area then, I started playing his style, and bought alot of Arsenal Jerseys with Henry written on the back. Since then I never looked back, though I've been disappointed a quite number of times but I remain an astute gooner. #Coyg 3 Likes 1 Share |
