The father didn't make any sacrifice. He brought the op into this world without the OP's permission. So it is his job to take care of him till he can take care of himself.

He has no right to seize his son's phone or bully him because he's his father. Children also deserve respect especially as adults. Unfortunately our African culture condones this kind of behaviour from parents.
