Catholics do not worship God. It's Mary. There is no where in the Bible where the worship or adoration of Mary is commanded or advised. This is pagan worship incorporated into the followership of Christ. Roman Catholicism and Islam ( two sides of the same coin) have been the greatest threat to the true followers of Christ.
