My brother, it will be hard to get a technocrat as the new ooni. It will work both ways, its either the person belong to APC or the person belong to PDP.

The late ooni was a supporter of PDP. He owns the highest stake in RCC.
It has always been political. Its not the first time and won't also be the last.

If either tinubu wins or bode George wins.
Don't mind Bode George, Awolowo influence Sijuade's selection and everyone was aware of it, much as i wouldn't want Tinubu's involvement in this new Ooni's selection, Bode George cannot dictate to Tinubu, everyone is aware of this too.
With Saraki whose father said he was Fulani, and to Dogara from Bauchi - both heading both Houses of the NASS now;
alas, who are the losers from Bola Tinubu's political machinations beginning when Tinubu and Gbajiamila worked for Tambuwal's emergence as Speaker of HoR in 2011?

The losers are:
the Yoruba,
the Igbo,
the Ijaw,
the Itsekiri,
the Bini,
the Ibibio,
the Efik,
etc. groups of the south of Nigeria.

IMMEDIATELY AFTER TAMBUWAL BECAME SPEAKER IN 2011, HE STARTED WORKING FOR POWER BACK TO HIS NORTH, USING THE TWO MAJOR POLITICAL PARTIES.

Now who shall dare talk of recommendations of the last CONFAB or restructuring the polity again? Some people in one section of south of Nigeria messed up the entire southern Nigeria - with the forlorn hope that when Buhari goes, he shall pass power to that section.
[/quote

Dr Olusola Saraki, the father of Bukola Saraki is a Yoruba man, forget about politics, all na bussiness.
And as for some people messing up the rest of the southern Nigeria, no one stopped you from aligning with anybody, birds of the same feathers flocks together, we are not the same so how can we have the same mindset, can you imagine situation where old men and women stood in the rain to vote for Goodluck only to come back 4years later, to line up in the rain in other to vote him out in anger?.
Jonathan's government is not good for me, so if i have the opportunity, i will do what i did in the last election over and over again, voting for the right person is the only way i can avoid putting square pegs in round holes, only the best is good enough for me.
This is not just a lesson for politicians it is a lesson for all, if you want to take something from people especially in SW you must come begging for it, you don't come to my house brandishing cutlass, guns and all kinds of verbal assaults, you can't threaten my existence and still expect my cooperation, its just not possible.
I'm so very happy with my decision.

Omololu007:
my question to you is dat,how are the yorubas and hausa stoppin ibos fro gettin biafra?
They need to blame somebody for their sorry condition, they secretly want Biafra with south south, because they know Yoruba will still not agree with them.
Unfortunately for Biafrans, sub Yoruba folks who have the mindset of SW are also in SS, the Edo, Uhurobo, Itshekiri, and Ilaje people will sabotage Biafra 'cause they will not willingly agree to play minority in a new country, they already experience this in the first Biafra experiment and they are wary of Biafrans.
The only way Biafra will work is if the entire southern Nigeria will agree to pull out together and later split up and Yoruba did not see anything wrong with Nigeria, they will rather have true federalism.
In the last 16 years the Biafrans were very active in the administration of this country, they went mute because things were going in their favor, the Yoruba on the other hand went to the drawing board to chart a way forward for themselves.
Yoruba have master the art of survival in Nigeria, why will they want to pull out? and why will Yoruba hold Biafra down when we are not relatives.
Yoruba will be happy to see Biafra succed provided they are ready to fight for it, Yoruba are not interested in fighting Biafra battle 'cause the whole idea of Biafra is borne out of selfishness, hatred, and lack of respect for others.
Yoruba want to integrate, Biafrans want disintegration the two cannot mix, Biafrans should rather look down south to see if they can convince their neighbors to agree with them 'cause the last time i checked, the sub Yoruba groups are saying " I NO BE IBO I BE DELTA, I BE EDO I NO BE IBO ".

Politics › Re: See Why Biafra Sovereignty Will Not Work by 7lives: 10:10am On Aug 07, 2015
zendy:
In 1979, an Islamic cleric called Ruholla Khomeini based in France brought down the Government of Iran led by the Shah of Iran (Reza Pashlavi) just by people playing recorded tape messages in mosques across Iran. In those messages, Khomeini admonished the Shah and his despotic, corrupt regime and urged the people to rise up and change things. This galvanised the people of Iran to rise up and chase the Shah out of Iran and Khomeini, who had not even been back home in more than 10 years, flew back to Iran and became the supreme leader of the country due to popular uprising of the people. Unfortunately, Khomeini proved to be worse than the Shah but the lesson to be learned here is that the leader of a revolution does not have to be on the ground to fight personally in other to effect revolution. The people calling for Nnamdi Kanu to return to Nigeria and fight to prove he is not a coward are just those want him arrested and paraded unclad in other to break the spirit of Biafra. The same Nnamdi Kanu was in the east broadcasting for 6 months this year before retuning to his London base in June. What this people do not know is that removing the leader of a movement dors not stop the movement, it only makes the movement even more determined. This was seen in the fact that when Boko Haram first started, it's then leader Yusuf was arrested and publicly executed by the Police thinking that would end Boko Haram. Shekau took over and proved he was much worse than Yusuf. The vast majority of Biafrans such as me would want Biafra to come by peaceful means such as a referendum or plebiscite. But what if the Nigerian Government refuses? Anyone who plans for peace must also plan for war because nothing is guaranteed in life. Nobody has the right to tell the Igbo man or any minority in the SS that they must be Nigerians. It is our choice if we want to be Nigerians or Biafrans and anyone takes away our right of choice is asking for trouble. Nigeria is a whitemans creation and that is why it is a fraud. It is time for us Africans to create our own Countries and not carry on with an outdated colonial legacy called Nigeria. Freedom is not cheap, it costs lives. Any true Igbo man cannot accept to be a slave in a failed state such as Nigeria

It referendum or war!! But there is no going back on Biafra

Now that you have agreed that freedom is not cheap it cost lives, tell your people to stop whining about 2 million Igbo lives lost during the first Biafra war and let us know how many millions of lives you are willing to put on the line this time around.
Your grand fathers went into that war thinking they had everything worked out, they eventually ran away to save their " precious lives ", Philip Effiong who surrender on behave of Biafra to put an end to the ongoing humanitarian crisis is the reason your people are still saying " Calabar man na mumu " i have so many Calabar friends that are like family so i know what I'm talking about.
I see you people starting what you can't finish as usual, but in the meanwhile, Mahatma Ghandi did not fight for Indian Independence from south Africa he fought in India, Fela, Beko, Gani, Balarabe and countless numbers of Nigerians were sent to jail ans subjected to all kinds of harassment for speaking against the government.
MKO Abiola ran away and come back to die for June 12, Ken Saro Wiwa died for Ogoni, death is the ultimate price those who want to lead must be prepared to pay so tell Nnamdi Kanu to come and agitate for Biafra at home and not from UK grin grin grin.

Is this all your retarded brain can come up with?
Sanusi said so what? that is his personal opinion, when Yoruba interest is at cross road with Sanusi he will answer for his statements.
How what Sanusi said should make Yoruba vote against Buhari and vote for Goodluck beats any rational mind.

No wonder some people are able to separate issues from mundane hence referred to as sophisticated.

You can extend your campaign to ban marriage of any Yoruba to other SE because of Oba Akiolu's statement.
Your evolution seems to have missed one step.
They don't know Yoruba people so you can't blame them, this is just a fruitless attempt to drive a wedge between Yoruba and Hausa people.
They don't know that Yoruba deals with "individuals and situations", i just can't imagine myself voting for the nonsense that pdp represent just because some one calls me one stupid name after all he is entitled to his opinion.
And as a matter of fact i will personally examine myself to see if the person was actually right about me so as to make the necessary adjustment 'cause it could be a reality check for me and i actually want the best for me.
But if on the other hand i discovered that the person is making such pronunciation because he or she is not having a " free ride with me", then i as a matter of fact will double whatever i'm doing that's freaking such person out, as long as i'm not breaking any law, the person can go ahead and say what ever he likes, that's his business.

Totally, marketing is the bedrock/essence of any business. I have been looking out tirelessly for some to work with but no better lead.
How do i get some for my business?
Google search B2B, other Nigerian based marketing consultants and distribution companies, when you see sales promoters in the market approach them for information, there is always a space somehow provided you are not expecting a high salary.
The marketing managers are like football coaches, always looking for strikers, when you get an opportunity make good use of it, let your employers see you as a goal getter, full of ideas, a very good team player and sometimes ready to work with minimum supervision.
You can also work as a sales agent, if you can raise some money you can carve a " niche" for yourself marketing for distributors, go there with reasonable amount of money, as you continue to patronize them, ask for credit facility, once you can prove to them that your relationship with them will also impact positively on their business they will give you a credit facility, but remember that you will need a guarantor or two.
Most distributors are looking for high quality partners to work with because the more they sell the higher their commissions, some of them sells at a discount rates in order to meet their targets which varies in categories, this is where the sales agents are profiting reasonably.
