It is not about grade level.

All grade levels were there(chief lecturers, principal lecturers, senior lectures , lecturers 1 , 2 and 3 etc).

We were clearly told that the money we received as February salary was the minimum wage

and that it will be our salaries from now onward.

They specifically told us to take note of our February salaries because it will be our salaries from now on,

except when we get to another step or level,that is when the salaries will change.

So actually the February salary that was paid to the Federal Colleges of Education was paid with the new minimum wage.

We were told that will henceforth be our salary.

So we are not expecting anything different for this month's salary because the minimum wage has already been paid.

Today, we were also given our TI number from IPPIS.

From ACE, ondo, my salary on 9/3 on gifmis platform use to be 113kplus after statutory deductions. On Thursday last week, IPPIS paid me 128kplus after statutory deductions. My question is this, how come about the 15kplus addition to my February salary if the payment was made without NMW.

The same thing I have been wondering.

If minimum wage was not included,how come that the money being paid to me last week,if multiplied by 12 months,

will be more than the gross amount written on my appointment letter.

I don't understand the whole thing.

This is not minimum wage. This is your normal salary
But some deduction were not included

So next month salary is going to come with all the deduction and minimum wage included

arrears is going to be paid next week starting from April last year

I heard it said that arrears will be paid on Monday.

But how reliable is the information?

Yesterday the 12th of March,2020, I got the minimum wage for February salary.

It was IPPIS that paid us.

Only N7,000 was added to my salary as a lecturer in Federal college of education.

That is the new minimum wage.

Through the introduction of IPPIS,i was able to get lecturing job because most tertiary institutions rushed to employ in order to cover the vacuum left by the ghost workers[which was detected by IPPIS].

UPDATE: ASUU is currently holding meeting in each institution regarding the delay in FEBRUARY Salary. If they do not get salary in the next 24hrs, their members are being requested to stop coming to work. This is what the likes of SSANU and the rest cannot dare.

I think for those of us in Colleges of Education and Polytechnics,our leadership should do well to hold a meeting also concerning this delay in our February salary.

I know soon they would pay us shaa.

We must show love to JESUS CHRIST because HE first loved us and died for us(1 john 4:19)

Even those that saw JESUS CHRIST during Near death experience always testify that HE loved them so much so that they do not want to leave HIM.

They always want to stay with HIM forever.

How do we reciprocate this love today being a valentine day?

We can love HIM by loving someone today.

Buy a gift for someone that is poor,someone that you do not even know.

Find a beggar on the street and buy him or her a sumptuous meal.

That is how to show love to JESUS CHRIST today,

because HE says in the bible that whatever we do to the least of the people,

Therefore today being a valentine day,you have to feed the hungry,

give drink to the thirsty and cloth the naked.

I believe that the reason most handsome men marry unattractive women is that the men were carried away with the admiration that the women are giving them.

Handsome men are not so much attracted to beautiful ladies.
