We in the federal college of education ,they paid us before the last sallah succeeding Ramadan fast.

May be it is university you are talking about.

I think university has problem with the government.

But I know that since IPPIS started paying us, we have always received salaries more than a week after the month must have ended.

The exception was when there was Sallah celebration in view.

They paid us on twenty something of that month(ie before the month ended).

MDA is even a different case.

My friend that is working in the federal civil service under the ministry of niger delta always receives his salary on 23th,24th or 25th of every month,

with or without Sallah/Christmas celebration in view.

But let me reveal something here.

You know,if a lady proposes to a man,it means she truly loves him and want to spent her life with him.

But if a man proposes first,the lady might accept but in her mind she may be wishing it was someone else whom she loves so much but is shy to approach/propose to him.

Some women accept to marry a man because the man is ready for marriage and has proposed to her but she has someone whom she wished

she had got married to.

So it is better for her to propose to the man so that the man will clearly know that there is no other person in her mind.

I know so many cases like that.

One case even involves me.

The lady asked me to marry her.I did not have a good job then so I told her I was not ready.

Someone else then propose to her and she agreed.

Now she wished she was married to me.I do not want to go into details.

I will definitely say yes.

I tend to show more commitment to such ladies and it is always very hard for me to forget such ladies even when we separate due to change of locality,marriage etc.

me,I would not be able to remove her from my mind.Mentally I will not be able to leave her.

I do not know why and I have talked to some men about it and they try to discourage me saying I must only be the one that initiate a relationship.

But they do not expect everyone to be the same.

So to ensure I give my all to a lady in marriage,I want her to first ask for my hand in marriage.

That is why even though GOD has given me a federal goverment job and people have asked me to propose to a lady,I refuse.

I do not want to propose first because I know I will not be able to love her truly.

The truth is that as a lady,I protect males whenever a woman tries to victimize them.

COEASU threatens strike, gives ultimatum

A fresh crisis appeared to be looming in the education sector as the Colleges of Education Academic Staff Union on Wednesday issued the Federal Government a 21-day ultimatum over pending issues.

The organisation asked government to address some issues within three weeks or face nationwide strike.

Among the issues are refusal to effect third party-deductions in most COEs; double standard deployed by the Federal Ministry of Education and Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment against the COEs relative to other tertiary institutions and imposition of the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System on the COE system.

The organisation alleged that the government failed to address the plight of the public college system one year after sending a memo detailing the deplorable state of the institutions.

The President of COEASU, Nuhu Ogirima, issued the ultimatum during a press conference which held at the National Commission for Colleges of Education in Abuja.

He said, “Consequently, administrative impunity and rights deprivation reign supreme in most of these COEs. The Expanded National Executive Council at its meeting of 8th July, is, therefore, forced to challenge government to shut the teacher education industry since the quality of infrastructure, welfare and service delivery takes no preference in the scheme of governance at all levels.”
