What took us to the principal's office was when they wanted to beat our buttocks.

But that was when we were to be beaten for offenses such as ...

I only experienced that about 2 times.

Generally, I was a good girl and didn't use to get into trouble.

I was seldom beaten.

It was only on two occasions that they beat my buttocks for an offense committed by the whole class in SS3. It was a mass punishment.
That caning helped to mold your character as they use to tell us.

My spirit is exceedingly troubled as I write this. It happened yesterday (05/08/2020) as I boarded a cab popularly called "Korope" in Osogbo, at Capital/Estate area heading towards Oke Baale, I had a black folder with me which contained all my credentials (original), a charger an a tie. Upon alighting at Oke Baale I mistakenly forgot the folder.
I realised this about 30 - 40 minutes later and since that time I have been looking for the cab. The problem is that I can't recognize the driver and the cab.
I have been to their office at old garage and one of the NURTW officers assured me that their drivers do bring lost items and if mine is among they will call me up.
Right now I am perplexed, petrified and perturbed as all my original copies of credentials (pry school certificate, waec certificate, ND certificate, B.Sc certificate, M.Sc certificate, NYSC certificate, CV, etc) are nowhere to be found.
I am losing my mind already.
Anybody with clues of what next to do should kindly reach out. Jah bless.
Have you found your certificates?

How were you able to get your certificates particularly the BSc and NYSC
How to get the certified true copy of a missing BSc certificate:

When one gets to the university he or she graduated from,

they will ask him/her to apply for a certified true copy.

The heading of the letter will be 'Letter of application to be given attestation in lieu of the certificate'

(That was how the school told me to caption the letter)

The person will apply and attach therewith the photocopies of the missing original BSc certificate, police report and court affidavit

The school will then stamp the photocopy of the BSc certificate with their stamp bearing "Certified True Copy"

It can then be used as original.

As for the NYSC certificate, you go to the state that you served and collect a letter from their NYSC secretariat.

You take it to National NYSC secretariat in Abuja(Gowon House) and you will be given a replacement.

I wish the government will investigate this issue,

so that at the end this truth must not only be unraveled, but must be seen to be unraveled.

At the end of the investigation,

this truth must not only be brought to light, but must also appear to have been brought to light.

He that buys stolen cert.Would'nt he be caught since the name on the cert is not the name he is known by?.
Well I know that not every one who is currently working is using his/her real certificates.

Some are using someone's certificates and bearing the person's name.

Some people in an extended family all use one person's certificates.

Like if the person is the only one that is a graduate in the family,

all his/her cousins and relatives will be using that same person's certificates to work.

Some people share their certificates with their friends.

When going for interview/verification,he/she will go with his/her friend's certificates.

In that case, they will all be bearing the same name while all working in different places.

The difficulty will only be encountered if they all have interview/verification at the same time.

FamilyRe: I Beat My Husband Because He Orders Me Around, Woman Tells Court by 7victor(m): 12:10am On Aug 19, 2020
In every marriage,

the husband will sometimes order his wife around,

and at other times, the wife will order the husband around.

The husband is not completely the head of the family.

Sometimes, the wife takes a decision for the family and vice versa.

Sometimes, the wife discipline the husband in one form or the other,

and sometimes, the same husband discipline and reprimand the wife for some misdemeanor.

Wife and husband are co heads of the family.

No one is subordinate to the other.

So all this talk about a man being the head and a woman being his subordinate is not realistic in the true sense as far as marriage is concerned.

That is why Nigeria needs JESUS CHRIST salvation and protection.

HE alone carried the cross of sins of mankind which was heavier than the whole universe.

HE was the only one who lost all HIS blood when HIS side was pierced,

yet HE resurrected without any blood in HIS body.

Medically,it is impossible. But it was possible with JESUS CHRIST

That is the greatest miracle anyone can do.

To suffer so much bruises and death but yet rise again is the greatest miracle of all.

If HE can do this, then HE can save Nigeria from this present fear.

Call upon HIM today.

Know that HIS blood was shed to cleanse us from sins.

Know that HIS blood was shed so that you can use it(the blood) in spiritual warfare.

Know that even occultist/witch doctor/magician when they are in spiritual warfare, they use to sacrifice by shedding blood of humans, animals or birds.

The greatest weapon in spiritual warfare is blood.

So JESUS CHRIST shed his blood to give us a weapon to defend ourselves.

So as Nigerians, let us call on HIS blood to destroy the present insecurity and violence in Nigeria.

Na wao.
Any where you are right.
Someone said that when you are not successful, that is when women will tell you that they cannot approach you first because her honour will be at stake.
That is when women will tell you that it is against her pride and honour to approach you first.
Also most women do not approach men because they fear rejection.
But such honour, pride and fear has no place when you are very successful in life.
They are like even if he rejects me that is not the end of life.I will just move on.
If he accepts me,I am the one that will gain.
Most times, the men that are following a lady are all these jobless/low income street men.
The lady will have no option but to hunt for successful men.
So there is nothing to lose in terms of honour or pride if you approach a very successful man.
The fear is in terms of being rejected which does not even matter.
RomanceRe: Lady Kneels To Ask Her Boyfriend To Marry Her In Public And Gets A Yes From Him by 7victor(m): 12:33am On Aug 13, 2020
I believe there is nothing as sweet as a woman asking for your hand in marriage.

I read a story about how a woman approached the late president Yar'Adua for marriage.

It was during that time that he first contested for governorship in katsina.

Alhaji Yar'Adua accepted her proposal and married her as one of his wives.

But shortly after he lost the governorship election, the woman packed out of his house.

When Yar'Adua contested the second time and won,

the woman returned to his house, but Turai Yar'Adua refused to allow her in.

Turai knew that the woman only wanted marriage to Yar'Adua because of fame.

Of course if you are successful, women will approach you directly for marriage.

Ask successful young men and they will tell you.

So to be approached by a woman is a priviledge.

Unfortunately it is hard to tell a guy who's mature enough not to be intimidated by a woman who propositions him first.
I've done that and got my fingers burnt.
Well I am of the belief that it was the wrong guy you approached.

I mean a guy who believes that he must be the first to approach a lady,

But I know so many men who are only attracted to women who first approach them(the males).

Most of such men are achievers like managers and CEO of companies.

I have observed the trend.

Most men who are less successful only want the women whom they approched first.

But most successful/handsome men believe they have what it takes for women to approach them first for marriage.

Most men who believe that they are successful or that they are potential success are honoured if women consider them good enough to be approached for marriage.

In fact I know one tall handsome taekwondo black belter who is very successful in life.

He refused to approach any lady for marriage.

He was waiting for a lady to approach him first.

Since no lady approached him first,

he decided to approach a lady.

But he later stepped back and wanted the lady to start pursuing/desiring him.

The lady thought the man was not interested.

But the man actually wanted her to ask him to marry her.

The girl did not say anything to the man.

One day, another lady just went to the man who was sitting on a chair with table.

The lady bent over the table and began smiling at the man.

She said she wanted to discus something with the man later in the day.

The man said the lady should just say what she wanted to say there and then.

The lady asked the man if she could marry him.

The man did not even ask for a time to think about the proposal.

He said 'YES'

And now they are happily married.

I am so sorry for your loss bro.
How did you get the certified true copies of your certificates in case I need to get if I don't see mine.
When you get to the university you graduated from,

they will ask you to apply for a certified true copy.

You will apply and attach therewith the photocopy of the missing original certificate.

The school will then stamp the photocopy with their stamp bearing "Certified True Copy"

It can then be used as original.

As for the NYSC certificate, you go to the state that you served and collect a letter from their NYSC secretariat.

You take it to National NYSC secretariat in Abuja(Gowon House) and you will be given a replacement.

But when doing this, you must be very ready to confront anyone(particulary women) who tries to mock or intimidate you.

Most women that are in charge of issuing this certified true copies will try to make you feel sad by mockery.

They will want to delay you and make it appear as if your world has crashed.

They enjoy these things.

In such a situation, you must stand your ground. You can insist that you want to see the very head of that place.

If the very head of the place is a man,he will assist you.

Like NYSC secretariat in Abuja,if the woman in charge start her mockery and delay,

you can insist that you want to see the director general of NYSC

or any other higher male figure.

At the end, every thing will be OK.

You will get all that you lawfully required.

To get a certified true copy is lawful.

How did you lose it?
I was with it inside FG Onyenwe luxurious bus from Aba to Kano.

I kept the bag containing the certificates in the place where bags are kept, directly on top of where I sat.

It was a night journey.

In the morning, I realised that someone had taken it.

May be he/she took it by mistake or purposely, I cannot say.

But I believe he/she must have dumped the certificates somewhere,

when he/she must have taken away the laptop and other useful items that were in the bag.

That is why I plead with anyone who sees the certificates anywhere to call my number 08035321965.

I promise to pay him/her the sum of N50,000 cash.

I really needs the original certificates although I have got the certified true copies of the certificates.

May be it is because the tertiary institutions like daring government by threatening to go on strike and by going on strikes,

that is why the government has be delaying their salary as punishment.

This is why the tertiary institutions must start looking for ways to reconcile with the government.

Dear Esteem Members,
I met with the Bursar this morning and interacted with him on the information ventilating on the social media that our members may not be paid July, 2020 salary. He confirmed that only members that enrolled with the IPPIS Ab initio are in the IPPIS payment platform for this month salary. He added that the IPPIS office could not explain the reason for the omission.
In the light of the foregoing, members of the Branch are advised to wisely and cautiously spend their savings while awaiting necessary measures to be taken by the Union National Secretariat.
