An economist heads the finance ministry of country no doubt but he or she can't perform the task of an accountant because he has limited knowledge of accounting. The only exception is if he or she has a professional accounting certificate with some years of experience.

Maths for economics, Applied statistics, Applied econometircs, Advanced maths for economics, Advanced Micro Analysis, even History of economic thought dey give guys problem.
The only hard course i see in Accounting is cost accounting.

Yes perfect Economics isn't hard..an Employer would be bored with your CV if you have Bsc Accounting plus ICAN/ACCA, that would mean all you know is accounting. Unlike you having Econs + ACCA. Ur choice.
