2. The cerrato is an auto (no bearing on the discussion but your brain can't grasp that). Trans died cause transmission hose disconnected. Still nothing to do with the discussion.

also that your high speed protocol is wrong too. you will destroy your gear. in all things CLUTCH FIRST.

Well, you are wrong. Brake first, clutch when engine speed drops (before stalling the engine), shift to the appropriate gear for vehicle speed and resume driving.

Engine braking does not destroy your transmission as you erroneously think. It is a safe way of bring a vehicle under control.

No wonder a lot of people are constantly changing clutch fibre, release bearings, forks, discs and plates.

Boss, if I was in his shoes and it's not a daily driver, I'd pick the diesel. The parts dey ladipo. Apart from engine, trans (maybe), ecu, fuel system and dpf, every other thing is the same. Same pads, same disc, same usual maintenance items.

pH to Abuja, my guy no even enter filling station with his 318d. Even on the way back. Na for warri him refuel on the way back. I was amazed at the fuel economy.

Then again, I am not him and he may not have access to diesel mechs in case something goes wrong.

Not true. They actually pull and climb hills better than gasoline engines because of the enormous torque advantage they have at low rpms.

If part availability is not a concern, I'd take the 320d. It's not slow. The fuel economy is awesome. How do you like seeing 900km range on your dashboard with a full tank?

Good afternoon, Acura TL 06 overheats when the AC is turned on especially when the weather is hot but it stays normal at the middle mark without AC. The radiator has been washed, no thermostat and fans run direct too.

1. Check and confirm both fans run when the ac is on.
2. Check and confirm both fans pull air through the radiator and condenser into the engine bay and not the other way around. (Place a piece of paper or nylon on the radiator. If the nylon sticks to the radiator, then the fan is blowing in the right direction. If it pushes the nylon out, it's blowing in the wrong direction). Check both fans.
