2. You are terribly wrong about mercedes. There are better cars out there. Far better cars with better build quality and reliability.
3. Your budget will get you any pre 2008 mercedes c class and even e class. C300, c240, e350, etc.

Look for Nakoks. He is knowledgeable when it comes to mercedes. There are others as well. Read through the posts and you will spot them

For those of you looking for the best oil with no shortage and performance rating very high. There is Royal purple sold in Nigeria but it is an API SL and so Toyota lovers should take advantage of the season. I will invite the guy to the thread to talk about his product. Royal purple is higher than Mobil 1 but the one available is the API SL variant of 5w30.

How can royal purple with api SL be better than Mobil 1 with API SN?

My car is already at 190k miles. Just 12k short of the one you intend to buy. It doesn't miss a bit. Doesn't smoke or short oil.

It could have been highway miles which means it's not so bad.

Check the maintenance history. If it's been well maintained and is within your budget, then it's not a bad buy.

These engines can go well over 250k miles without any major repairs if well maintained.

There is no parameter apart from fuel economy where the 06-08 ml350 beats the 08-10 Acura mdx.
The mdx will leave it in the dust. Handles better and has a better awd.
You can't even compare the interiors.

Buy what you like though.

Rephrase. This model of Acura mdx. Not all of them. The 2nd and 3rd generation do not have transmission issues.
190k miles on the 2nd gen and still pulls like a bull. Same engine and trans.
