Your budget will get you Nigerian used of number 1 and 2 with change to spare.
It will get you toks of number 3 to 6 but just barely. Minor repairs might push it above your budget slightly but do note that they will be high mileage.

On a 0-100km/hr sprint, some i4s will outrun some v6. Power to weight ratio, gearing, factory engine tune etc will play a role. Some v6 are small like the mercedes c240 mentioned on this thread. Some i4s are big. There is a 2.7 litre 4 cylinder with bigger displacement than the engine in the mercedes c240.
The feeble looking 2007 honda city with cvt gets to 100km/hr faster than the 2003 mercedes c230. Yes. Look it up. And it's a bloody 1.5l engine. Admittedly, the benz will overtake at that point and keep going but still a feat by the tiny much derided honda (japanese).

In all, when making claims or comparisons, its best to compare apples to apples and oranges to oranges.

No need comparing an e350 to a Corolla. They are not in the same category neither are they marketed the same.

It doesn't require premium fuel. I've got a low miles clean 2013 gs350 toks. But you have to up your 6m budget. 6m can't even get the es350 as it is now.

While on my way back home last night after getting my car fixed from the mechs, was approaching a junction so I tapped on break next thing I heard a loud “Gbim sound” my highlander lost control and faced back and refused to move.

I tried firing it didn’t move, I called my mechanic when he got there he checked under and told me it’s the axle attached to the propeller that broke. He removed the propeller then the car managed to move but at a very low speed. Has anyone experienced this on a 4 wheel drive before? And how to fix this pls help!

You bought a Nigerian used toyota hilux.
First error.
You may or may not know it has been abused (hiluxes in Nigeria are severely abused) but being a follower and poster on this section of car talk, I believe you knew.
You knew it had oil consumption problems yet you took it on interstate journey with load. Second error.
You may or may not have investigated the reason for the oil loss. If you did not. Third error.
You did not fix the oil loss issue but continued travelling with the hilux and I know you drive hard. Fourth error.
No blame the hilux bros. The writing was on the wall but you failed to heed the warnings.

Contact Trygo for a swap. He just recently swapped in a 4runner engine (cheaper than the hilux engine) into a hilux.

He is the man to fix this problem.

Toyota hilux are not known for oil loss problems. Those trucks are loved and used by militants and terrorists in the most inhospitable regions of the world and serve faithfully. They are the epitome of reliability.

I am guessing by your your post that you drive in lagos. There is no way you drive in lagos and will meet the advertised mpg of your car. Not possible unless you drive only very early in the mornings and very late at night.
Our fuel is crap. You car is fine. To improve your mpg, reduce the amount of time you spend idling and enjoying ac, drive like a granny, carry fewer people or fewer loads, plan your journeys to avoid rush hours and traffic. All these na suffer head things but that's what you gotta do to improve your mpg.

As usual, a daft FRSC official has come out to blame overspread on a "highway". What is keke doing on a highway?

Chief Gazzuzz, my 07 Avalon's fuel consumption is on the high side, averaging around 12 - 14mpg most of the time. I fill up around 65litres every week. Dashboard clean, no error code on scanning. Car works fine in every other way and fuel consumption has been like that since I bought it.

A mechanic suggested that he can do a kind of work or tuning on the engine/car to reduce the fuel consumption and that it won't affect the car in any way, but I'm skeptical of going along with that lol.
