That monster sensor is very difficult to defeat, you just had to live with it.....

A bit common on the 07/08 models. Not so on others.

There was a TSB on it. Replace sensor and update ECU. Problem solved. It isnt a monster that can't be surmounted. The low oil warning pings is the least of OPs worries. It's the blue smoke and leaking fluids that's my worry. Everything that can leak was leaking.

3. What gear do you select when driving? D, D3, D2, L?
4. Do you drive with your legs resting slightly on the brakes?
5. How many miles do you cover with the 11.4 liters you buy before the low fuel light comes on?
6. Where is this car driven? Lagos? Which part of lagos? Ikorodu? Some areas are traffic prone so fuel economy will be horrendous there.

You can use google to check how to use your trip meter.

Do a Google search on the vin. It will bring up pictures of the car if it was shipped from the usa especially if it was auctioned by copart.

I havent found anything as specific as my description, and e dey pain me. This screenshot is/should be common knowledge to pple who know how overdrive works, but isnt specific enough. What i sha know is in June 2020 when i picked up my 2010 Ford edge, which has a six speed trans with overdrive, on the stretch btw saapade and guramaraji, that car did the full 200 (not 220 that was a typo) and the rpm was solidly ard 2. It just stood there whilst the speedo needle kept going. Femtopford is a ford specialist, can you clarify this pls?

Ha. On my ford with tiptronic 8 speed paddle shifter overdrive, na 1000rpm at 250km/hr.

You didn't state the year of these cars so I will assume you are talking about the 07-12 series of these cars.

1. Fuel economy. The IS250 wins. It's got a direct injection engine which helps it achieve fuel economy figures close to that of 4 cylinder engines.
2. Comfort, space, leg room.
The ES350 wins. It's roomier, has a softer ride and more comfortable to drive. The leg room at the back is also better than that in the IS250.
3. Durability. The ES350 wins. The engine scores doesn't have any major known defects. The engine in the IS250 is known to have issues with carbon deposits on the intake valves. This leads to loss of rpm, loss of power and general driveability issues.
4. Parts availability: parts for both cars abound though you will find parts for es350 abound much more than parts for IS250.
5. Maintenance: both are a bit easy on the pocket. Mechanics know their way around the engine and transmission in the es350 better than the IS250.

It's up to you.

Do a simple test, put nylon in front of the condenser, if it sucks the nylon to the condenser that means it's blowing in d right direction.

Yeah. Try both sides of the condenser cos in the case I witnessed, the main fan was sucking in cool air into the engine bay(right direction) while the ac fan was blowing out hot air from the engine bay outward(wrong direction).

Since yesterday my car temperature goes slightly above middle and sometimes even goes to high when my AC is on and in in stagnant Traffic for a while. When I turn the AC off it comes back to the middle

Check your fans if it happens only with the ac on. I doubt your radiator is the problem.

I suspect your ac fan is either malfunctioning intermittently or blowing in the wrong direction.

Your fans are meant to pull cold air from outside into your engine bay.

I've recently come across technicians installing a fans to blow out air from the engine out through the radiator.

You are welcome. Stick to the maintenance routine specified by your car manufacturer and the fluids specified. Don't use that Mobil oil in your transmission. It will end in tears.

My ES330 keeps overheating even though there is nothing wrong with the Radiator and the fan are in good conditions, the mechanic said I should remove a thermostat inside the engine, pls anyone has this issue?

1. Let's see the temperature gauge when this overheat is happening.
2. Does this happen with the ac on or without the ac on.
3. Are you sure your fans are turning in the right direction?
It should be sucking in air through the grill and not blowing air out from the engine. It will surprise you to know that many mechanics and even rewires believe it should be the other way around.
4. Have you flushed your radiator and condenser with a pressure washer?
5. Change the radiator cap and observe. It's a cheap item.

GAZZUZ and all the car gurus, i need urgent help

Pls my Toyota matrix 06 consumes fuel a little bit more than normal.

I replaced d air intake filter, cleaned the throttle body with cab cleaner, welds exhaust leaks, already bought original NGK spark plugs but yet to replaced, gas cap not clicking after lock, already ordered a new one but yet to arrive.

I did a scan & d following code popped up: P0420
P0441
P0128.

Which of these is d real culprit & How do i eliminate them?

Fix that p0128 first. Replace or reinstall your thermostat and restore your fan to factory settings.
That should go a long way. Fix the gas cap that doesn't click. You lose fuel from there too. As for the p0420, go and buy spacer from Gazzuzz. That should do it.

Is It Advisable To Buy A Facelifted Car

I'm looking towards a foreign used Lexus.

I've tons of options from 2013 facelifted to 2019.

Is it advisable to go for these types or do they have any hidden problems.

If you also know about Camry, it would be nice

It will still be a 2013 car, still drive like a 2013 car and still feel like a 2013 car. The only thing you would have done is wasted money on aesthetics.
You may be telling some people that you want a 2019 car but can only afford a 2013. The 2013 rx350 has a totally different body shape from the 2019 rx350. If you were facelifting a 2010-12 rx350 to a 2013-15, I would have said go ahead.

What I noticed is that it reaches half gauge faster than before. Before it takes more than 10mimutes of driving to reach half gauge, now it takes roughly 2minutes of driving. Though it still slightly below the mid(half) line. Another thing am thinking maybe the weather might be another contributory factor. Since January the weather has been hotter

Your thermostat has been reinstalled. Your car now gets to optimum operating temp quicker and the ecu now adjusts fuel efficiently. Hence the improvement in fuel economy. You are doing well.

Please House, does coolant have effect on a car mileage? The reason am asking is because I discovered after adding coolant to my radiator for the first time in January, since then have noticed appreciable increase(improvement) in mileage, infact my car breathes better, covers the same distance with almost half the same litres. Am trying to know what I did right that could cause that significant increase in mileage. Before my Honda pilot covers about 65miles with 30litres, now the same 30litres gives roughly 100miles(this is only city driving with frequent stop and go)
