Around 2k for monthly house rent

200 for internet. Monthly —- about 20K Naira

200-300 for light. Monthly ——- about 19-29K or so

Cable (Astro) —- 150-200 monthly —— below 20k

Water is free depends on the Condo or should be around 30 or so

So you’re good with RM9,500

Am at point of negotiation with an organization for job there and I need the information for me to make good negotiation.

The below are urgently needed:

1. Cost of accommodation for a family of 4.
Good location.
2. Average cost of living per month.
3. Children education cost.
4.other information that you can help with.

1) Cost of accomodation for a family of 4:-

You can get an apartment let’s say in PUCHONG for about 1200-1800Ringgit which is about 120k to 180K Monthly cool

( Fully furnished / Partly furnished / Non furnished )

That’s for Apartment and it’s going to be like 4rooms+1small room or just 4rooms

Package:- you going to pay agent/owner 3+Half upfront - 2months DownPayment 1month for the current month and half for the utilities down payment. For example if your house rent is 100k that means you’re going to pay 350K. 1 or 2 yrs agreement and you going to get ALL your down payments back when you’re moving out.

Everything must be in good shape or else they just gonna deduct it from the downpayment

OR studio which is going to be like 1000RM upward 100k Naira upward. Studio /2Bedroom apartments in Cyberjaya or KL Area

2) Average cost of living per month: I don’t know! It’s going to depend on how you spend + what you eat. You going to learn how to always cook at home or order food online.

Normal Hard chicken is about 10-12RM and that’s about 1K Naira.

Maggie knor pack is about 20rm which is about 2K Naira

YAM is from 5K-10k Naira for just 1 YAM grin

Check everything for AlabaMarket .my or google it to check their price list so you get the idea.

Taxi is a MUST grabcar app and others or get a personal car if you can’t rent daily , weekly or monthly.

3) Children education: You need to walk in to nearby schools and ask but I don’t think it’s that expensive

Try to google dependent Visa if possible you can add that to your plans.

You must get one person for Malaysia so u can shop to their address and them go help you cargo it or send it to you via post office (Poslaju) around 2weeks to reach Naija. 2 weeks if your in Lagos and maybe 3weeks in other states

You can also send it by plane. I think about 3days to reach Naija but super expensive

Many peeps are doing Cargo business In Malaysia but that one go be if you want to ship heavy stuff. Chairs/beds/Refrigerator and all. About 2months to reach Naija

If you doing online shopping the best is to find maybe any of your family down there wey fit help.

Its not so hidden, there are companies and even agencies doing it for a fee. In the UK for example, lookup Sponsorship Tier 2 jobs on Indeed and other jobs sites and you’ll find direct application links. As long as you have any good skills, especially in healthcare or construction. They then do referrals to where to submit your application... visas are granted for up to 3 years after which you can extend until 5 years residency completes. There are other hassle free (even with such amount of cash) that can get visa for you... abi we no dey see ppl coming in every day ni
