Vistra40: Is it not funny how Nigerians criticism racism in America but here in Nigeria, they taunt one another’s tribes? So what then is the difference between the two
phr0nesis: UARians have no right to mention racism here. Our tribalism here is worst than racism
It’s not… Merely different manifestations of the SAME disease. >
Aabheaven: Ok, This nearly happened with me. We bonded on 2go and talked for a long while before we decided to see. On that fateful day, we decided the time to meet should be 12pm but by 11.30pm I was at the fast food restaurant standing at one corner to observe if the lady is what I am seeing online.
By 12.30pm she called she was at the fast food (I still can't understand why ladies find it out to keep to time especially during outings this is by the way though) and I noticed while we were communicating she was not the exact image of what I saw online infact I nearly japa but as I just decided well make I just treat her nice after all she took out her time for us to see.
We barely talked for one hour and I noticed the morale wasn't there to go along, I just interrupted her and told her I need to be someone as at that time. I paid for our meals and we bade goodbyes.
But how can a lady look good in pictures and bad in person, can someone explain? Let's make it fun, share your experiences.
The lady you “talked [to] for a long while” and supposedly “bonded” with did NOT change… The only thing that changed was your idea of her looks - you ignored the book and fixated on the cover. >
LadyExcellency: Soldiers stormed a popular centre at Douglas in Owerri to arrest the so-called IPOBs, one guy shouted "Omo Yoruba" and saved his life while other Igbos weren't lucky.
egoldman: Does it matter where he fights from? What you should be asking is what influence does he has from where he fights from.
While not being on the ground, he was able to lock down the whole of southeast and part of south south. He was able to raise an effective fighting force again the murderous herdsmen, these and many more he did while outside the country.
Fidel castrol was able to topple US backed dictator from outside the country ( Cuba)
Khomeini was able to topple the Shah of Iran from outside Iran.
Thank you.
Where did you get the falsehood that Castro fought from abroad? Fidel was right there up in the mountains fighting with the folks he was leading.
Even the Mandela you cited had the opportunity to go into exile… But rather turned down Nigeria’s offer to remain in Lagos and returned to SA.
It’s easy to “fight” when Kanu and his family are safely abroad… It’s other people’s (frankly foolish) kids and families whose lives are risked for his fantasy. >
NGArmyTerrorist: it should be more than that Oga. The ones killed only in Imo State is about hundred or more than that. They are young guys, picked up why coming from work in the evening and were killed in an undisclosed places and later deposited to the morgue in FMC Owerri.
Dude, have you ever been to FMC Owerri? It’s morgue CANNOT accommodate up to 100 corpses. >
egoldman: He fight for his people, he refused to bow to Fulani hegemony, he refused to let his people be slaughtered especially in their farms by Fulani herdsmen.
He didn't start with violence, violence was forced on him by the powers that be and he refused to be cowed.
We may not support all his method, but one thing is clear, his reason for agitating is genuine, no freedom fighter did it 100% right.
Mandela and ANC didn't start with violence untill the white apartheid government started using brutal force to suppress them.
We know your type on this forum, people who support evil are also definition of evil themselves, have a change of heart and amend ur ways else someday the evil you support on this faceless forum will visit you.
“Fighting” for his people from the comfort of the UK? Why not come back with his family and share in the peril he’s created for others? >
obainojazz: While I won’t justify what he did, unfortunately this is true. I’ve seen this happen to lots of guys abroad… this babes will patiently wait for you to bring them abroad and then japa. But the guy stupid sha, shouldn’t have killed anyone
He didn’t bring her abroad, she’s American… She probably got him papers and was supporting his arse!
So try another DUMB PRIMITIVE MISOGYNISTIC theory! >
thatchic: 1) She is African American. And no, she is not a Nigerian with an American name. He did not bring her to America from Nigeria. 2) She was killed at her mother’s house. That means she already left the marital home. That means she did not file to “ take over his hard earned house” 3) They did not have any child(ren) together. So no court ordered child support. 4) looking at his Facebook profile, that man did not have a pot to piss in. There was no financial gain for this woman. He was a “rapper” and a security guard. 5) He was 10 years older than her. Current ages (34 &24) He was probably 30, when he met her, and she was an impressionable 20 year old. He deliberately sought a young girl he could control. She probably ran back to her mother’s house due to his abusive behavior. 6) His fragile ego was bruised when she left & he realized he no longer had control over her. He killed this young girl & her mother. Defending this evil behavior, speaks a lot about your character.
Sounds like the typical Nigerian male on Nairaland… >
Dottore: Same gruesome gory tale. Dude must have suffered to bring the babe over and the babe being a typical Nigerian woman suddenly becomes "wise and arrogant" after having a stable income and feeling liberated then most likely took advantage of the justice system that favours women in the western world to humiliate the guyman. The marriage fails and dude feels at a loss.
When you have nothing to live for you have everything to die for. My own poor analysis. What do I know sef
*modified* For those that concluded that the victims are Americans because of their names, here's my simple advice. Forget name o. Some Nigerian girls and their mothers who have never gone near any airport bear names that are more American than black Americans.
If you already find yourself in a DUMB MISOGYNISTIC STONE AGE HOLE… Quit digging and making an even bigger dummy of your unenlightened self. SMH >
Pidginwhisper: They’ve frustrated the man. Advice to my brothers. If you’re fortunate to leave this shithole. PLEASE DONT TAKE/BRING A NIGERIAN LADY WITH YOU IN THE NAME OF LOVE!!! Move on with your life if you don’t want to die untimely. Whatever relationship you have should end in Nigeria.
DUMB PRIMITIVE MISOGYNIST… Does the name of either of the murdered women sound Nigerian to you?! >
Daddy that supposed to be a role model to the boy.
My take: Guys should be arrested randomly and be queried for the sources of their income. They should be released however upon the satisfaction for their source of income.
This is the only way to have a sane and just society.
Somehow, as would be the case in civilized nations… There is a constitutional PRESUMPTION OF INNOCENCE in Nigeria.
Accordingly, citizens are NOT required to prove their innocence (it’s already assumed)… Instead, it is the government bears the entire constitutional burden of establishing guilt. >
> DUMMY! The people voted you into office to protect them… You’re ABDICATING your responsibility but want to keep enjoying the PRIVILEGES of office. SMDH >
I am in dire need of support from people who have travel experience. When I say travel experience, I mean people who has relocated from Nigeria completely.
I will be 30 next month, single (have always hated the idea of marrying any lady in Nigeria because I have been unlucky with most of them i met as they seem complicated, inconsequential, dishonest and inexposed).
To make this short, I spent a lot of my youth working so hard to save enough money with the mindset to relocate from Nigeria as Nigeria depresses me alot.
I have been able to save nearly 20 million naira, excluding investments running in millions i wish to put on cargo to ship wherever I wish to relocate to.
Now, my problem is finding a suitable location or environment where i can relocate to without stress and problems.
Note that, I do not intend to work for anyone as I have my own skills.
United States, United Kingdom are out of my plans as I have realised their system are not built to favour me or my type of person and seem more like stress and a slavery environment to me.
I applied for Canada visa with hope to get work permit but has been on hold for months as they have been on lockdown since.
Having lived in South Africa before for a short while and felt like home there, I had it as an option but I am at crossroads, if I can have better suggestions from experienced people here.
Also, if anywhere in Europe is advisable (remember I do not wish to work for anyone except part time, in my field or if must require me to get a work visa)
Please I need advice.
Online Republic of Biafra….
Seriously, though, you have up to N20 million, but instead starting a business (and scaling up), you would rather go be an economic REFUGEE in someone else’s country built up by their own citizens. The condition that Nigeria presently finds itself is the culmination of the actions of ALL Nigerians, by commission or omission. #TakeResponbility >
nextstep: It would have been nice if these were locally made vehicles, either Innoson or Nord, but I dont' see their logos. Please correct me if I'm wrong, or did we just employ thousands of youths in Asia?
Refusing to employ our youths, but quick to "enforce law and order", forgetting that employment is a key to law and order.
Geely cars are assembled in LAGOS (by Mikano Motors)… >
GIANTPLUSHUB: Very nice. Congrats to the contractors. Everywhere go done stew. My kind of contract
Who cares if contractors make money, so long as they deliver functional equipment? When robbers show up, will you protect yourself with the money you’re hoarding under the mattress?! >
