musicwriter: The Pan-African freedom fighters who revolted against colonialism were adults or at least old enough when white people arrived, so they witnessed the switch from being African to being colonized by foreigners. This includes people like Kwame Nkrumah, Nnamdi Azikiwe and co. Their generation knew what's as stake and how to counter it
However, those who were children born into colonialism, grew up being colonized and thinking that's how the world is supposed to work. That's the old generation being phased out now and they're the people I am talking about. Again, most of them are white puppets no matter their social status. They were NOT… Azikiwe was born in 1904, while Nkrumah was born in 1909… Meanwhile, the British colonized Lagos in 1861 and Ghana in 1874. < |

Small small all this will turn to Anarchy cos I don't see any reason for them to destroy that gate🤨 From pulling down of gate to more Atrocities loading. It is the PEOPLE’S HOUSE…NASS should use part of the N70 billion of TAXPAYERS’ MONEY it got as “palliatives” to pay for it. Some Nigerians are truly weird… Departing legislators left with computers, printers, furniture, etc, but a pulled-down gate us what galls you. Anyway, it’s said no one can ride on your back unless you’re bent over… Sadly, way too many Nigerians are eager to grab their ankles for their rapacious rulers and politicians. SMH > |

musicwriter: You actually have a clue about what's going on!
In brief, what's happening is that the old generation Africans born during colonialism are being phased out right now. I am talking about any African born from the 1920's to 1950's. They're dead or quickly dying.
They grew up as semi-slaves with colonial mentality and, therefore very unquestioning. They continue to be used by white people till this day, it doesn't matter their social status.
Africans born after colonialism think differently and have largely replaced them. This is why France and Britain are working assiduously behind the scenes to return Africa to a new form of slavery suited for the current generation of Africans.
If we don't understand the scheme and wake up completely as a people by 2025, this generation would also be enslaved.
I have an article written half way on this topic but it's just one of those things I end up not publishing. emmaodet: At the bolded is so true. Reason why I once said the modern tool the west wants to use to enslave the present generation is Afta - Africa free trade agreement. One of the tools because they realized the present generation are more aggressive against olden days tools they used against our forefathers Abegi, make una quit fooling yourselves… Africans born during colonialism essentially saw a “common enemy” - colonialists… They thus fought them with ONE mindset - the liberation of AFRICA, which is why the greatest Pan-Africanists are still from that era. Conversely, Africans born after colonialism indulge in primordial bulkanisation… Eg, South Africans, for whose liberation Nigeria sacrificed billions in material and armed support, now literally lynch Nigerians in SA. Many Ghanaians whose nation shared a “special relationship” with Nigeria during colonialism now despise us… Meanwhile, in our parents era, Nigeria sold oil to Ghana (and African nations) at DISCOUNTED rates and even gave Rawlings govt a grant. As for Nigeria itself (where scores of post-colonial citizens are “japa-ing” to the old colonialists)… You need to look no further than the CRUDE TRIBALISTIC BILE AND BIGOTRY that’s daily spewed here on Nairaland. So abegi let’s quit deceiving ourselves… THE ‘ENEMY’ LIES SQUARELY WITHIN US - not in France, Britain, etc.!!! > |

Indeed our hope is renewed. garfield1: Exactly.it features 5 youths and 2 under 40 women,15 technocrats Abegi, which ones are the purported “technocrats”?!Having a degree is not synonymous with being a technocrat… And, apart from a handful of practicing professionals, the rest are just politicians and sundry rent-seekers. Meanwhile, women in Nigeria actually constitute about 50% of the population… Accordingly, 19% is simply NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Our cabinets should reflect “national character” (not just federal). PS: The UN (and most standard) age definition of “youth” is from 15-24 years… In Nigeria, we keep incorrectly classifying middle-aged folks (even in their 40s/50s) as “youth”. > |

JaskanFactor: The Europeans that run Nigeria ensure the country lacks proper infrastructure to develop , so that in Nigeria when technological disasters happen it gets very tragic very fast.
That is why the airports in Nigeria are run by European companies, cause they too the Europeans use those airports, but soon as you leave airport you are in the colonial zooo that nigeria.
In a country where the European owners work hard to ensure things are not safe, i would not go above third floor in any building. Will not travel at night due to bad roads and poor night lighting not to mention security.
They say the general hospital has minimum of 10 floors since she fell from 10th, i can assure you Nigerian fire brigade is not even nearly equipped to handle fire in 10 storey building.
Its one thing for nation to lack proper infrastructure due to corruption, its another thing entirely if the lack of infrastructure is being done deliberately.
How can you trust elevator in a nation where there are petrol tankers blowing up and killing people every week, you must be dreaming. In a nation where containers from trucks are crushing people in traffic without it causing national out cry. A nation where buildings are collapsing every month, and you go take 10 story lift.
We dont have a country, we have a bosom trap , a contraption rigged by Europeans that run Nigeria to cause fatal injury.
Booby trap definition according to google
booby trap noun an apparently harmless object containing a concealed explosive device designed to detonate when someone touches it.
That is the Nigeria the Europeans created, complete with 3 warring tribes they encourage to be at logger heads. Abegi, which airports in Nigeria are run by “Europeans”?! Over 60 years after independence…. Some of you are still blaming “Europeans” for your ineptitude! While true that “Europeans” are primarily interested in their own interest in Nigeria/Africa… If Nigerians/Africans are incapable of promoting/protecting their own interests, then “Europeans” are the LEAST if our problems! > |

Sanwo should set an example and [/b]sentence one evil person[/b] rather than looking for the next cookathon to eat like a glutton.
