dayokanu: Rumours that Thiago Alcantara might be moving to Bayern.Rafa Honigstein is talking about it! Says Pep specifically demanded him so it sounds legit but begs the question where will he play? RuuDie: Reports have it that Pep promised the lad more playing time than UTD+FCB can offer because Javi Martinez will be pushed into CB most games... I am loving this! What's there to love? Javi is a capable CB as well! Besides its just a want it doesn't mean he is going to get it! And if he does its all about it working in the end if it doesn't he would get the boot! Sammer is the reservoir dog to keep him in check anyway |
Lool this ninja thinks he's Justin Bieber or sumn! Ko ki n gboro smh

MRbrownJAY: see that one!!!!!Stop it bruh! While Webber wasn't exceptional I wouldn't necessary say he was poor! He drove on awful awful awful teams those teams would make anybody look bad even Alonso! Let's check the list Minardi,Jaguar,Williams how many of these teams are still in F1? Whether you feel Webber is a poor driver in a good car is moot all I know is Webber would not last this long in F1 if he wasn't above average! Glock,Petrov,Alguersuari,Kovalainen,Salo,Kobayashi,Senna (Jr),Truli are just a few examples of how mean and ruthless the F1 streets are MRbrownJAY: look at the numbers bro, the numbers NEVER lie.......Alonso was winning races before he got to Ferrari, so we know he has talent, while Vettel and Webber only became top drivers when their CAR became better (although Vettel was already showing some positive driving skills). now, i am not saying that all it takes is a faster car BUT, a faster car plus a somewhat skilled driver will get you the championship, no doubt about it.He was winning races with a good car and a weak field with only a 35/36 year old Schumacher and Kimi Raikkonen to compete! He went to McLaren and was outperformed by a friggin rookie! Hamilton sonned him so bad he ran away from F1 Even with a big team like Ferrari with all the resources and team control at his disposal still no show! Vettel won a race with a friggin Toro Rosso! I repeat a Toro Rosso! MRbrownJAY: as for tyre strategy, vettel never matched Alonso's fastest lap time because at the start of the race Vettel had a full tank, and at the end he was on medium, duh! vettel was on soft for the first 7 laps only then opted for Medium tyre the remaining of the race. what are you on about?!Does that explain why he had the fastest lap for the entire race? Was he the only one that ran on softs? How is it that in a week where he has his most uncompetitive car he was able to set the fastest lap? a feat he had not achieved prior to the German GP! Abeg jor talk another thing MRbrownJAY: but here is a clue once again for, look at this from another point of view. at the start of the race, both drivers had a full tank of gas, vettel was on soft and Alonso on medium, and they were lapping as followed:Thank you captain obvious! We all know soft tires regress quicker but would also go a second quicker than the medium compound MRbrownJAY: then SV changed to medium tyres on the 8th lap while FA changed to medium in the 13th lap, it still went as followed:It would help if you just admitted Alonso had a bad day in the office. Battling other drivers for field position was always going to hurt his time |
What you have failed to add was why did Alonso throw in the towel after doing so well in the first 2 stages of qualifying? I don't buy the idea that the Ferrari was not competitive if that was the case we would have seen it during qualifying where Alonso finished in the top 3 in the aforementioned stages! Why then did he not give it one more shot on the softs and instead chose to go on the final stage on the obviously slower mediums? |
MRbrownJAY: pls care to tell us when there was ever a car who could rival with that RBR in the past 3 yrs (if not for the Ferrari at the beginning of this season for a brief moment)?! yes, the Lotus seem to have the proper car to do the job last weekend. thats why i wrote that vettel deserve this one fully.Save for 2011 every other season was very competitive. You can't seriously claim that the McLaren's and Ferraris where not competitive in 2010 and 2012! They had cars that went toe to toe with Vettel! Heck the Vettelmeister was all but dead and buried before the turnaround at Singapore so I don't know what you are implying really MRbrownJAY: bro, that ferrari had NO PACE whatsoever during the whole race, you only have to check race data and lap time of EVERY driver on EVERY LAP to understand that...... Alonso's luck was the safety car. if it had not been for it, he would have been WAY further behind Vettel than he was.Ahaa! I was going to bring up the point but you beat me to it! Alonso's poor tire strategy/gamble did him in! Going for mediums from the start meant he was never going to have exceptional race pace at the beginning! So if Vettel's car was so far more competitive why is it that he couldn't match Alonso's time even on the softs he predominantly used for the race? Can you not see that it was a strategy gone bad? Why did Alonso not qualify with the softs so he could at least start higher on the grid? MRbrownJAY: here is the important facts that we knew from the get go: the fastest car on soft, empty tank and clear track was the Hamster (1:29.398), just in front of Vettel (1:29.501), followed by Webber and the Lotus......Alonso was almost HALF A SECOND slower than them, which we all know is ENORMOUS in today's F1, and thats why they tried a different tyre strategy at the start, which backfired on their aaasssss because most in front made their soft last much longer than expected (especially Grosjean).Taaaaaah! Alonso qualified on mediums and not softs besides its an open secret that Alonso and his Ferrari are notoriously poor at qualifying! What they do have is straight line speed and superb race pace which makes them contenders no matter where they start on the grid! They gambled and it failed simple! |
MRbrownJAY: forget that one man, if grosjean would have stepped aside at the proper time, then Kimi would have certainly passed vettel.Well that didn't happen so what should we do? Well the Red Bull wasn't convincing this weekend! He even lost his KERS for sometime in the race either way the Vettelmeister has proven himself times without number if you chose to keep making excuses for Alonso/Ham that's on you! For 3 and a half years now neither have been able to get a competitive car or is Vettel so good he has made them look bad MRbrownJAY: yeah you are right, grosjean is definitely not on the level of Vettel when it comes to experience and driving skills.Lool but since then the Mercs have crept up into the picture as well! There's always been one constant which is the Ferrari's always having the best race pace which is why they are always in contention regardless of how bad they are at qualifying MRbrownJAY: "Yes he has one of the fastest car out there at the moment and the championship should truly be his at the end of the season, but Baba Ijebu told me that some forces of darkness are hard at work against him at the moment (even a blind man could see that..... 2 failures in 4 races, haba!!!)"It was obvious even to the blind at the time with the way he won in China. Anyway even with your unlimited excuses it would interest you to know that Alonso set the fastest lap in that race! Faster than Grosjean, faster than Vettel and faster than even Kimi so much for the uncompetitive car |
MRbrownJAY: what a race!!!!! that damn Grosjean was quick to moan about being faster than Kimi, but when it was time for him to step over, it took him some few laps to oblige. BASTARD!!! the only one who could have challenged Vettel in that race was Kimi, and sadly it was not to be. Grosjean was so long behind that RBR that he could have drawn Vettel's exhaust from memory. nonsense sunday driver!!!! Kimi didnt get close enough to try to overtake that RBR. says a lot about the strength of that bloody RBR car...........and yes, Vettel drove the hell out of that car, and surely earned his trophy THE RIGHT WAY (for once)......that is one of the FEW races that i think he truly deserved the win. well done for him.Bros take am easy na! Kimi would have caught Vettel if that race had gone on for 3 more laps. Lol what do you mean by the right way for once? 4 wins and only one debatable win in which Vettel used his discretion as Webber is not exactly in the title mix MRbrownJAY: as for anyone (aka Omar22 or A40) who thinks the Ferrari is competitive TODAY (let us forget about 9 races ago), then ask yourself this very simple question:"shouldnt it be Alonso fighting to overtake Vettel, instead of the Lotus (if that Ferrari car was competitive)?" are you two (other Vettel/Ham cheerleaders can respond) the only ones that cannot see that the Ferrari car had absolutely NO PACE? the only time we saw a glimpse of some SPEED and competitive lap time was at the end for a few laps, when Alonso changed tyres. The Lotus was clearly the fastest car on race day! For Grosjean to give Vettel headaches you should know that water don pass garri! Anyway I'm tired of these lame excuses you Alonso fanboys bring up whenever he wins or loses! We have been hearing this same old story for almost 4 years now |
dayokanu: Gareth Bale (WAL) – Tottenham Hotspur FCPhillip Lahm ought to be in this list in my humble opinion too much emphasis on attack! Take out Bale or RVP 4 Bayern players so I can't complain sha |
nitlad: And the spaz resorts to jejune verbosity yet again. Abirun oshiWords aren't enough for a hillbilly zombie like you but they could help nitlad: Juup HeynckesWhat phoolish logic! This is Juup's 3rd attempt at coaching Bayern he finished trophyless the previous season that should tell anyone with half a brain that trebles are not a given but alas nitlad is bereft of one nitlad: Were you also privy to Jose Mourinho's brief at Real when you and your fellow cheap herbs branded his tenure a failure for not winning 58 out of 20 trophies? You are a phoool! What was the reason Mourinho was brought to the Bernabeu? No be to win Decima! Not only did he fail to win it at any point he even finished trophyless to boot last season 1/3 La Liga 1/3 Copa Del Rey 0/3 Champions League 2 major trophies in 9 attempts! That must reek of success to a blathering e-diot like you ba? nitlad: Lends more credence to the fact that Bayern has plateaued! The only way from here on is down! That is yet to be determined! For all we know a new era of dominance might be upon us! That is why we got Pep! Now if you think a team has to win a treble every season to be regarded as dominant then you are even dimmer than I thought nitlad: It would never happen! It doesn't have to happen for Pep's tenure to be branded a success nitlad: Are you for real? Are you aware how ridiculous the idiotic standards you are setting are?A weak league that produced 2 finalists in the biggest competition in Europe as recently as May? A weak league that presents 4 teams to Europe's premier competition! Stupidity is twerkin in your brain I see Shebi PSG also assumed they had won their league after spending millions only to lose it to Montpellier of all teams This disgusting hypocrite doesn't know when to shut up it seems! Were you a foetus when Mourinho tapped up Ashley Cole from Arsenal? Lool @ the ret@rd! Meeting a buyout clause is the equivalent of poaching in the eyes of this moose! The same Dortmund that might have been out of business if Bayern had not bailed them out without collateral nitlad: Good. So you agree say e don fail if he doesn't achieve this? Are you in a cellar? If you can't read why not ask someone to explain to you A-40 doesn't expect a treble from Pep however A-40 expects a UCL title at least one nitlad: Sir Alex was 71 when he retired! Juup at 68, plus the 3-year contract given to Pep puts him the same bracket at the end of the 3 years. Also, Trapattoni is 74 and he is still going strong!Obviously you don't know anything about leaving when the ovation is loudest! Have you not been to the United thread to see how United fans routinely rain curses on Ferguson? Trapattoni is also an idiotic example on your part! When was the last time Trapattoni coached a top team? Or are you equating Ireland to Bayern? If Trapattoni quit Ireland today I'm sure top sides across Europe would be tumbling over themselves to acquire him right? nitlad: This is ridiculous to say the least. Comparing football to civil service is a new low, even for a ninny like yourself.Only that managing a behemoth like Bayern is even more complicated than working in the civil service! nitlad: Was he terminally ill? When you have a headache you wait till its terminal before you treat yourself right? nitlad: Sir Alex and Ivor Powell were 71 and 93 respectively when they retired!Out of over a million teams worldwide 3 ninjas are the only examples you could come up with! That should tell you its an exception not a norm nitlad: That is the inevitable question to be asked should he fail to live up to Juup's standard!Yes a treble every season was Juup's standard adofuro like you nitlad: That question is for the idiotic people in-charge at Bayern for not putting a foot down for their current employee and thinking lowly of him - thinking it was only Pep that could bring the goods. So we should have missed out on one of the best coaches in Europe when a vacancy opened up especially when our present coach was in the last year of his contract right? So what happens if Juup couldn't go anymore and voluntarily retired which he eventually has gone on to do? We then wind up losing on both sides! Juup would forever be remembered at Bayern he was sent off in the most honorable manner a coach could dream of even to the point of tears! He isn't complaining neither should you nitlad: It would have been easier for him to continue in a current job he has settled into than going on to another new one entirely! He has been forced into retirement by Bayern's short sightedness!E pele tie! Carry on Keyamo you can still sack Mourinho and hire Juup if you are so pained because I don't know why you are crying more than the bereaved |
nitlad: You know this cos...Your phoolishness is epic!! Chimoo! and there I was thinking it was just bants and you were just trolling hard trying to have a laugh! Who made the job impossible? Ode shebi na you hire am na that's why you know for sure that Pep's brief is to win a treble. I don't expect anyone with even an ounce of common sense to purport this theory! Only simps would say this as: A) A treble has never been defended B) The Champions league has never been defended So while a Bayern fan would like to see Pep set those records we are realistic to know it may or may not happen! The priority is retaining the league and maybe the league cup should we go on to win the UCL to boot then all well and good. He was given a 3 year deal so if he even won just one Champions League in that space of time he has succeeded already. I repeat only a farm tool with compost for brains would expect Pep to win another treble Why was he needed in the first place? Common sense is obviously a scarce commodity these days! Juup is 68 years old for goodness sake! What is the retirement age in civil service or most parts of the world? African mentality! Shey na till he die there? How many teams around Europe can you see with coaches late into their 60's? Even Sir Alex retired so da phuck are you talking about why was Pep needed? Loool or did you expect a treble from Juup this season as well? At least you can see that Juup himself is on a sabbatical despite interests from big clubs across Europe |
nitlad: You are already making excuses for his failure abi?You just dey yarn megedefegede! I don't know if you were among the people that drafted his brief! No one expects Pep to win a treble! If he does so its a bonus! All we want is another Champions League title or two |
fredoooooo: fuji house of commotion , you better start to they prepare your own co operative money ( owo alajeseku) wey una go use buy higuain with Debo , mukina2 ,biola and rolandI no fit laugh from Rooney and Higuain to Suarez! Real Fuji House of Commotion |
nitlad: Juup's treble is now the benchmark!Benchmark to eyin olote and bad belle people! To the top brass at Bayern and any other objective person treble is not the benchmark. Treble wa je moinmoin abi? Juup himself after 3 decades of coaching how many trebles did he win? Sir Alex nko? Why the hateration tho? Its everywhere! Won binu Bayern ni sha! Lool even the Miami Heat don't deal with so much hate |
nitlad: But he really is not gon' succeed... Abi shey e wan win treble 50 times in a row ni?You just dey jabo since you no go cool down? No one is asking him to win another treble! If he can win us the Supercup/World Club cup and get us to 6 or 7 european titles that is enough for us at FC Bayern |
montelik: And so, my point was always that you and others were unnecessarily downgrading his talent. He's good no doubt but he has a long way to go! Maybe he's not as bad as we paint him neither is he as good as you paint him! The proof is in the number of slam he has to his name as compared to his contemporaries |
Mario Gomez leaves Bayern Munich for Fiorentina for a fee of around 16 million euros which could rise to 20 million depending on performances Henrikh Mkhitaryan also on his way to Dortmund |
jeebz: Is there hope for Emre Can this season? I believe he is a natural replacement for Schweinsteiger. There are a lot of games to go round Emre would get playing time besides we were really fortunate with injuries last term let's see how this season goes in that regard |

Oga cool down! He is still 10 slams behind the matador and 4 behind Djokovic! The road is still long |
Come on Murray finish this nigga off! |
Vettel wins in Germany! Raikkonen would probably have caught him but there were not enough laps Raikkonen 2nd Grosjean 3rd Alonso 4th Hamilton 5th Lol where are those that were laughing at the Vettelmeister last week? |
Superdriving from Kimi! Not enough laps left to catch him I suspect |
Grosjean applying full-court press on Vettel! These Lotus cars are super fast |
Obi1kenobi: Women's tennis is only worth watching for the eye candy with all those hot, long legs on show and beauties like Ivanovic, Kirilenko etc. The quality is dire, with little variety (other than Radwanska), the tour is filled with mentally fragile midgets who can't give their best quality in big occasions and they screaming, screeching and grunting of the likes of Sharapova, Azarenka and the Williams irritates me. Plus, they've conned their way into getting equal pay with men for doing less work. You can imagine Serena earning the same destroying her peers in an hour-and-half of 2 easy sets while Nadal, Djokovic, Federer and Murray are battering each other in 5 to 6 hour titanic 5-set battles. Political correctness and feminism gone mad.Its pathetic bro! I mean look at the epics the men's draw brings out every Grand Slam! Its crazy I swear there's no plausible explanation that can defend women earning the same as men |
Almost a dejavu of sorts! Seems Red Bull have discovered what went wrong last week! So let's see if the Vettelmeister can win this |
logica: I actually feel better with Thiago gone. He had his chances and blew them. Some will claim he was match rusty from sitting on the bench, but they seem to forget the story of Pique.Come on are you comparing Rafael Marquez to Xavi? Now I'm not saying Rafael Marquez is a horrible player but we are talking about replacing one of the all-time greats at his position here. I think Barca enabled him and he eventually started believing his own hype! And with enabling comes entitlement. |

Dwight Howard to the Houston Rockets! Its official! BTW what were the Spurs thinking giving Ginobili an extension for goodness sake? |
So much for the Robben is on his way out rumors Lordave: Now I know why they renewed Pizzaro's contract, because he speaks spanish.Gomez would stay so long as we don't get Lewandowski. He was prolific last season even more than Mandzukic if we consider his minimal playing time! Its just that Mandzukic brings more to the table when he is not scoring Gustavo,Dante and Martinez are all on extended breaks and should be back on the 17th or 18th |
I didn't expect Del Po to push Djoker this hard! I'm impressed he was able to drag him to 5 sef |
dayokanu: Meanwhile Pizzaro signs a one yr extensionWell deserved! He always brought something to the table in every single match he featured in last season if Van Buyten could get an extra year then he probably deserves an extension too hopefully their age doesn't become a factor! As you get older the regression can happen faster as well |
I think its all but certain Thiago is coming to United barring any late drama! |
dayokanu: You know its a World Cup year and Gomez wouldnt want to stay on the bench again or endure another season like the last.Gomez is too sensitive a ninja for my liking I mean look at Robben and the hard times Bayern fans gave him! Not once did he not reiterate his wish to stay at Bayern even when everyone talked about Pep selling him off he made his stand clear. Let's just hope we get Lewa if not we might as well make do with Gomez Germany doesn't have too many targetmen so Gomez doesn't need to be too worried! Klose is too old,Kiessling doesn't have much international experience |
