European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by A40(m): 7:14pm On Jun 21, 2013
Jan Kirchoff gets the number 15 shirt while Mario Gotze rocks the number 19 for next season.

We start with the same team we ended last season with! Borussia
Monchengladbach

@Lordave
Kirchoff gets the number 15 not 6 actually

biolabee: Ok now

King Fed v Nadal for quarters

The winner may meet Murray

Let's go there
Barring an upset in the earlier rounds! Nadal would most likely blitz past Fed-ex and Murray

birdman: I dont think you will ever be able to compare Kobe and Lebron. They are just 2 different players. Lebron scored 37, sinking jumpshot after jumpshot, blocking shots , steals etc...and it still looked like a quiet 37, just because he plays within the flow of the team. Kobe is not as effective but feels way more disruptive.
Lebron would probably never be the silky smooth scorer Kobe is! The thing with Lebron is the system he plays sort of allows him to be the focal point on defense and offense! If Lebron had a Bynum or Gasol on his team he probably would not be in the paint blocking those shots! Kobe averages almost two steals per game in NBA Finals and he's played in 7 Final series
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 5:12am On Jun 21, 2013
Congrats to the Heat! It wasn't always pretty but they stepped up when it mattered most!
Lebron has now entered the discussion not quite Kobe yet but he's in the game grin grin

Btw if I'm Dwight Howard instead of sulking I'm calling Chris Paul and we are making a beeline to H-Town to go team up with James Harden! They are younger and would absolutely slaughter competition in the West (offensively at least)

IIIIxRoyalxIIII: Where a40 at.....Patriots Aaron Hernandez on that Mafioso Shitt..

Two points is not a lot I feared worse to be honest! The Spurs are struggling to contain this Wade-Lebron one-two punch

occam: Nada three for Green so far
Role players would always struggle on the road! Its just what it is! Plus Green has exceeded expectations to be honest! Dude has come a long way from last year's performances against OKC
Gino has to step up! Give the Spurs one last hurrah
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 3:14am On Jun 21, 2013
Timmy is a boss! 37 years young! Respect!

IIIIxRoyalxIIII: Games as sloppy as these usually 99% of the time are given to the home team

if the spurs want this..they have to go out and take it

If The name on the back of that jersey said "Paul" instead of "Parker" he would have had 12 free throw attempts by now

Europeans never get calls...Unless you're a 7 Foot German.... wink @40

Its disgusting what this refs are tryna pull I swear! But you are right they definitely have to go out and get it!
Lmao! Nowitzki doesn't get no calls bruh!

IIIIxRoyalxIIII: Sloppy game 7 just like the celtics lakers, Kobe's epic horrid game 7, that his teammates carried him through

Game 7's are horribly overrated! Even the Spurs vs Pistons in 05 was hardly a classic
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 2:56am On Jun 21, 2013
Lol this is uglier than the Lakers vs Celtics game 7 three years ago!

IIIIxRoyalxIIII: Spurs need an Eruption from Gino in the Second Half....

Parkers Spent....

Duncan and Leonard can't do it all by themselves

They Need one Vintage 24 minute Moment from the Argentina Left Legend Gino

#2004Olympics
Does he still have it in him? Ginobili is the ultimate X-Factor tho! They have to get something from him in an all or nothing game like this! The tempo suits the Heat big time
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 2:26am On Jun 21, 2013
The Spurs have started superbly thus far! This reduces the probability of a blowout

Lordave: Saw on goal.com that we have secured the signature of Jan Kirchoof(22) from M' Gladbach. No more Kolcieny saga.
Lol was there ever one? Kirchoff has been issued the squad #6 and was betrothed to Bayern since January! Apparently a certain douche called Pataki still thinks Bayern are after Kosileyin! Despite the fact that we now have 4 CB's excluding Badstuber who is a long term absentee

Lordave: He's just a symbol of negativity and seems to be erratic all the time. He won three world cups and I think he was just lucky, just lucky.
The guy is just suffering from chronic inferiority complex! At his age he should be an elder statesmen commanding respect from all and sundry
Pele was good but make no bones about it he had plenty of help. Garrincha,Vava,Carlos Alberto,Tostao,Rivelino! That team was All-star caliber! They where like the Harlem Globetrotters back in the day
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by A40(m): 12:05pm On Jun 20, 2013
Lordave: this Pele is a stinking old fool. Would it cost him his ba!ls if he accepts that we are the best in the world presently?

By the way wat does he know about champions league and European football? If he's wise enough, he should me more concentrated on showering unmerited praises on Neymar.
Bruv that's a good thing! Thank goodness Pele doesn't think we are the best in the world or even Europe at least we have the trophies to prove it. The last thing we need is a sycophant like Pele who actually is the ultimate jinx lol if you meet Pele for road and he tell you make you go left please go right! Once Pele declares something the opposite happens! Infact if Pele says something good about a player that player is finished! Godwin Okpara,Nii Lamptey,Freddy Adu are all still cursing the day Pele discovered them!

Lool the same Pele that said an African Nation would win the WC before the end of the millennium! Till 2100 no African country might win the WC because Pele is a jinx like that

In Brazil they always place a gag order on him before any major tournament because when he speaks the opposite happens

Fhemmmy: Chairman, see the last few mins, the guy wont share the ball, and yet he is not tall enuf to penetrate the defense at that time or probably too tired . . .
Bruv I was going to comment on how poorly Parker played last night but you beat me to it! Granted he performed magic in the later stages of the game but he took too many shots! He was 6-23 from the field! 26% for goodness sake! Why should a point guard be taking 23 shots in an offensively balanced team like San Antone!
Taking out Duncan and Parker at critical points was also an error on Coach Pop's part! But Ginobili perhaps gets the most blame of all! You don't turnover the ball eight times on the road against the Heat
Props to the Heat for not backing down anyways! Everyone gets a dream Game 7
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by A40(m): 5:55pm On Jun 19, 2013
logica: When Iniesta was his age, he was warming the bench steady waiting on Deco. Thiago should join the queue.
That's probably because he was fortunate a guy like Guardiola came on board! Had Barca appointed an outsider who is to say Iniesta would not be riding the bench up till his mid 20's

AjanleKoko: It's hard to see how he will stay, if his release clause is that low, and an United or City is keen to snap him up, pay him millions, and make him an overnight star.

I've read some stuff here, some assumptions that he will stay or he will go and flop in other clubs. I don't know about that line of thinking. If a club in the Premier League are ready to buy him and make him a top player in their squad, I struggle to see how he would prefer to sit on the bench at Barca, and wait to be loaned out eventually like Bojan undecided

Whether he wins the Ballon D'Or or flops like an Adriano or Robinho is another matter entirely. But out of all the options Thiago has, I simply cannot see how the dugout of FC Barcelona would be one of them. Maybe people don't even get that Barca's 'not good enough' is better than good for some other clubs. Maybe when the chap shows up at FC Bayern, my fellow cules go wake up from the delusion cheesy
Lol actually if I'm Thiago I'm not staying! I'm not! From 77 million to 15 million release clause shows a blatant lack of faith in my talent. At this stage in his career only constant playing time would get him to the level he needs to be at to get to a world-class level! Look at the Isco's,Gotze's,Gundogan,Kroos,Alaba and a lot of other young players playing crucial roles for their teams I'm sure he would like to be in that mix
