Residents in major cities such as; Akure(capital) Ondo, Owo and many others has been gripped by tension as members of the Boko Haram terrorists have planned to attack banks in the major cities in the state, any time from now.

According to a letter that has been circulating on social media platforms, addressed to the state police command's Commissioner, Mr Undie Adie, the planned attack is to take place today Friday 1st November, 2019.

It was reported that a sister security agency had written to the Ondo state police command to take proactive step to avert the planned attack. Information on the latter revealed that the planned attack is to banks in the major cities in the state.

The letter dated October 29, 2019, was entitled “Planned robbery attacks on some commercial banks in Ondo State by suspected Boko Haram elements.”

The letter read, “Intelligence availed the command revealed planned armed robbery attacks on some commercial banks in the state by suspected Boko Haram elements any moment from now.

“The group also planned to engage in kidnapping and car snatching along major routes in the state, including Owo/Benin axis, Isua/Ikare and Auge/Ayire in an effort to raise funds for its terrorist/insurgency campaign in the country.

“It was further revealed that the insurgents/terrorists hibernating between Kogi and Ondo states, have concluded plan to carry out a major armed robbery operation in Owo Town, Owo Local Government area, Ondo State on November 1, 2019 being the market day.”

Reacting to this, Mr Femi Joseph, Ondo state Police Public Relations Officer, said he was not awear of any letter sent to the command.

However, he said effort have been made to ensure that lives and property of the people of the state were adequately protected.

The PRO also claimed to be unaware of the leter, he said, “I am not aware of any letter but our men are always on their guards and we have set out machinery to ensure that throughout this ‘ember months’, there is no security problem.”

The National Youth service corps has announced 5th November 2019, for opening of batch c streams 1 orientation camp.

Nigerian top and popular singer 2face Idibia, will lead top Nigerian artists to the National Festival of Arts and Culture, holding in the state from October 19 to 26.

This was announced by Edo State government, in a statement by Mr Crusoe Osagie, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Communication Strategy, who said everything has been put in order for the successful hosting of the festival, by the state.

He said: “We are set for the NAFEST holding in the state. If you go around Benin City, you will observe that the city is bubbling. It has taken a colourful turn as branding, including posters and billboards regarding the festival is everywhere for tourists to obtain necessary information.

“This year’s festival is going to have a Benin flavour as it coincides with the celebration of the coronation of the Oba of Benin, Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II. So, we have preparations for all of that covered,”

He added, “We are very certain that we will put up a good showing. Edo State is the cradle of culture and arts in the country and we will ensure that tourists get a feel of our assets. Artists in Igun Street are already pepped up for the festival, as they have promised to give discounts to those who patronise them during the festival.

“The Society of Nigerian Artists has also planned an exhibition to showcase the artwork of its members. So, we have a full bouquet of activities lined up.”

People I started blogging since two years ago, but from then till January this year I was uging free host .com. February I decided to buy domain and host. I bought the domain from tfhost then the host from another person. She help me design the site and I try many time to monetize the site by Google AdSense, I got rejected not many times, finally I got approval, last month.

The person that design the website and host it decided that I have to pay. She has remove the host. I want to know if I decide to host it with another host service won't Google disable my website/Google AdSense account, I don't know what to do as she is not picking my calls and she did not reply my chat.

If you have, then fret not. It will take a while for indexing to be done. And if ads aren't showing, it has nothing to do with the ads.txt files, most likely ad serving has been limited on your account. It is normal these days. Just focus on your content.

Tacha, the disqualified housemate in the 2019 edition of Bbnaija, reality show says getting disqualified was never her intention.

Tacha made this known on Saturday, in a post on her instagram handle.

The port Harcourt based first daughter begged for forgiveness, from her fans and apologised for her “imperfection”.

The post reads

“Dear Titans,
Words cannot readily express how much your love and acceptance means to me at this point. Even my imperfection could not sway your support.

“Coming out of the Big Brother House disqualified was never my intention. Unfortunately, my weakness played against my strength and cut short what should have been a grand ending, with or without the prize.

Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo has been told that he does not have constitutional power to waive his immunity.

This was made known in a staement by Lagos-based lawyer, Inibehe Effiong, while reacting to Osinbajo’s vow to waive his constitutional immunity to pave the way for the “most robust adjudication” over an allegation that he finance the 2019 general election from the Federal Inland Revenue Service(FIRS), funds, which is amount to N90bn.

Effiong said the Supreme Court had look into the mattter concerning the form governor of Lagos state, Bola Tinubu againt I.M.B Securities Plc, saying immunute cannot be waved for person holding any of the executive offices, even if the person has it.

He further sated that “Based on the extant constitutional regime, the Vice-President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, cannot waive his immunity. The Supreme Court decided in 2001 in the case of Tinubu v. I. M. B. Securities Plc that the constitutional immunity under Section 308 of the constitution cannot be waived by the persons to whom the provision is meant to protect.

“In the said Tinubu’s case, former Governor Bola Tinubu decided to waive his immunity to defend a civil claim initiated against him. The Supreme Court barred the then governor of Lagos State from proceeding with the suit.”

No need to wave immunity for person that is susceptible to be probed by law enforcement agency, immunity does not cover person from been investigated :he said.

Effiong however said, Although Osinbajo could not be sued he had the power to sue him for defamation.

He said, according to the law any person in his position could sue anyone to some extent.
