You are so dense.

Using emojis like idiots.

For your warped mind, no one audited Nigeria agencies. See how silly you have become. Once you are lucky to fly in a plane, you lose all senses and the next thing is to start insulting your country.

See the level of arguments you are making - fraud committed by contractors. Funny. So contractors could commit fraud without any insiders. You were trying hard to excuse them from frauds and it makes you have eggs smeared on your face.

You are just impossible and embarrassment to your lineage. My last piece to you.
Prove it......You easily pulled up audited information using online sources for American agencies so do the same for Nigerian agencies and let's compare.......This is something you can easily do professor, let's test your intelligence.......Come on big shot, back up your statements grin grin grin

Stop being a joke.

You goofed.

The report was referencing a pointed fraud that took place to the tune of 6.6 billion usd, you were still calling it a general audit risk statement. Does that report look hypothetical to you?

Some of you have accepted in this life and in the one to come that you are beneath the whites. I repeat , you should be embarrassed with this your flawed position.
GAO was asked to review issues related to DOD's fraud risk management. DOD obligated $421.8 billion in fiscal year 2020 on contracts. GAO has long reported that DOD's procurement processes are vulnerable to waste, fraud, and abuse. In 2018, DOD reported to Congress that from fiscal years 2013-2017, over $6.6 billion had been recovered from defense-contracting fraud cases.
Maybe you should get your eyes checked....The report was about fraud committed by contractors to the DoD and how it's process is vulnerable to those type of risks, it was not about one specific fraud but a combination of issues. The statement you highlighted earlier was a general risk statment and we use it all the time for audits like this to show the purpose of the audit, I didn't say it was hypothetical stop making up shit!

My statement still stands, these are operational audits and the findings are reported to BAA/Congress ensure efficiency and checks/balance, funny you talk about the findings but not the resolution, not the actions? Are you seriously equating this to 9ja? Who audits the Nigerian government? Where are the audit reports? Omo you're one funny specimen, arguing with you is like killing the brain one cell at a time grin grin grin

Ordinarily, I shouldn't have replied your comment because of the insulting words you started with because I have advanced and grown past this stage of throwing insults or exchanging insults with people I don't even know their status or caliber online but for the sake of the topic and to enlighten those reading, I will reply you.

Yes you are right about western laws that protect women in marriage, yes we don't have that and that is another reason every woman must strive to have something else going for her financially aside her husband's wealth, if not for any other reason, for future eventuality.

And when I speak, I speak from experience. I have witnessed this happen to a close relative whose wife became too lazy and even turned troublesome just because her husband became rich. Her now late husband did everything humanly possible to make her have her own strong source of income, but this lady frustrated all efforts and single handedly ran some of the businesses her husband managed to establish for her aground. Her eyes only opened after her husband died and she couldn't sustain the wealth, the children are the ones suffering the outcome of her actions.

But most of such ladies will lie to people like you that it is their husbands that told them not to work or start a business or build their own brand. They will never tell you that they became too prideful, arrogant, disrespectful, lazy and full of themselves just because they see themselves as the wife of odogwu.

Pray you don't fall victim to this before you understand better
Even intelligent people can spew nonsense, on this particular topic it is not an insult but a fact, your position is highly uninformed and bias, for example you've witnessed one does not make it a generally accepted truth, I'm sure you're familiar with how statistics works so tell me what is the percentage of thos ewho willingly become useless and dependent on their wealthy husband and those who are forced to? This would be a much better intelligent debate if you can provide statistical samples rather than making blanketed bias statements!

Mr I-have-been-an-auditor-from-the womb , read the attached document.

No matter how you want to lick the ass of the westerners, there is hefty fraud going on there. You were trying to blame failure of the audits test on mere operational accidents and not intentional fraud. Most of you guys are simply impossible. You will create a different rules for the whites while you throw your own under the bus .

You should be embarrassed.

Most Nigerian women want easy money without working hard or working at all. Those working are doing so because they don't have the option than to work to survive, so when they marry a successful man who mistakenly tells them not to work, they jump at it because it has presented them with the opportunity to live their dream life of living large without working for it.

No woman born industrious will ever accept being a full-time house wife just because her rich or successful husband suggested that.

She has several options; build a new career, brand, business or trade that won't take much of her time or expose her to serving other men which some successful men may not want their wife to be subjected to.

Use your husband's financial success to build a brand or career or business of your own. What if the man dies suddenly in an air crash or heart attack or political tussle or any other unforseen occurrence? This is what plunged many well to do families back to struggles once the man dies suddenly, the wife have nothing tangible going for her, she can't sustain the wealth, she only withdraws from the wealth her husband left behind till it's completely depleted and the children bears the brunt.

We ought to have TV shows and programs focused on this topic to enlighten our Nigerian women on the dangers of becoming lazy or less ambitious once they marry a successful man. It should be taught even in secondary schools where they start learning this bad habit from angry
You're spewing nonsense! If 9ja women had the same rights as Western women, they would exercise those rights more and divorce any man that infringes upon it. Wealthy Western men know they'll lose 50% of their net worth from a divorce so they respect themselves but a wealthy 9ja man would throw the woman out and leave her financially ruined if she does not do his bidding......Case in point, FFK!

I know because I read and wouldn’t come to open platform like this to show my ignorance. I don’t also just assume there is no rot or deep frauds in the western world committed by people in power.

In 2024, US department of defence failed their 7th audit consecutively.

https://breakingdefense.com/2024/11/pentagon-fails-7th-audit-in-a-row-eyes-passing-grade-by-2028/

They are even hoping they would have a clean audit by year 2028 which is still considered probable. Some entities always have their hands in the cookie jars.
I've been working in audit for over 13 years here in the USA and I've audited government agencies before, you really don't understand the difference between functional/operational errors and fraud/crime do you? I'll give you an example, a department went over their annual budget by 25000 USD, during the audit it was discovered they accidentally paid a vendor twice, this is not fraud but operational error. Failing an audit does not automatically mean fraud mr. cookie jar grin grin

Further, the fact that they are audited shows there's some form of accountability, the result of these audits are reviewed by the BAA and ultimately Congress, this is the difference between Western countries and 9ja! This is why there's no uproar because there are checks and balances.......This isn't rocket science my guy grin grin

The prayer of majority of Nigerian women right from when they are teens is just to marry a rich husband, that's all.

Once they get married to a man doing well financially, they become lazy and docile. Their ambition dies, all they do is monitor their rich husband's life up and down, looking for ladies they suspect to be his mistress to fight instead of using the opportunity of being married to a financially buoyant man to improve their own financial life and even build their own brand or thriving career.

You will see ladies who were once Doctors become lazy to even lift a syringe once they marry a successful young man, honestly Nigerian ladies need to do better, life of a woman does not end in marriage or revolve around her husband's success or wealth, I hate it with passion angry
You blame the ladies yet when we look at it objectively, it is those husbands that kill their career and prefer them to be full time housewives taking care of the kids. How many Nigerian women can say no to a wealthy man telling them not to work?

That is what happens to an “economic migrant”.

Corruption is everywhere. When the US mismanages billions of dollars in their military industrial complex projects, how many people come here to foam in the mouth?
How do you know it was mismanaged? Every budgeted dollar in military spending is approved and reconcilled yearly! Unlike Nigeria where there's no accountability, Congress actually keeps such spending in check.......There's the Budget and Appropriations Affairs (BAA), people lose their jobs and possible jail term if they mismanage government funds, can you say the same for 9ja? Stop comparing apples with oranges!

I have said it in an earlier post, that crux you talking about could have been addressed differently and better however, a rule is a rule and the students should know better. they not kids na. Are they there to learn or to show off... what is wrong is wrong and since there was no definite policy on how it should be address, the lecturer will handle such in a way they best understand ( and am pretty sure it will be in the same way they were taught too). Now that the matter is public, maybe the school will n come up with a policy that will address it specifically. None the less, the students should understand that the profession calls for moderation, safety and accountability, else they should go for other profession where flaunting their assets is totally allow.
Cutting a civilian's hair without permission is ASSAULT! In a sane nation, this would warrant a huge lawsuit for the organization and possible jail term for the individual! Many of una get anger problem and this reflects in your profession and daily lives, this behavior is animalistic plain and simple, no justification whatsoever!

Sometimes you should be fast to learn, and slow to respond.

By statistics, who make more money in Nigeria, Businessmen or Landlords?

Do not just Talk. Learn to Think.

When Landlords get wealthy, it is not because they are Landlords, but because they are Businessmen.

Before you respond, if you must, first Think.

A Poor Landlord is an Abomination, but sadly, there are too many Poor Landlords in Nigeria.
Sometimes you Nairalanders think you're wise but are actually inept! All landlords are businessmen but not all businessmen are landlords, businessmen can fail or prosper depending on the nature of their business but landlords are dependent on one path but that's not even the main context here.

Not all land owners are landlords, real estate goes way beyond just being a landlord. Someone skilled at buying and selling lands, will never be poor in Nigeria, take it or leave it.......Nobody said anything about being solely dependant on tenants, you can buy land of 10 million in Ajah today and sell it for 20 million within 2 to 3 years in the same area, the probability of starting a business in 9ja now and realizing double of what you invested in 2 to 3 years is VERY LOW......,This is the statistics you should concern yourself with not the yeye one you cho cho cho about above!

Building a house for rent is most often the product of a dull and empty mind. It makes no sense tying down money that can be put into business with very quick potential for returns into building house for rent.
Yes it is a safe investment but the singular purpose of investment is to generate returns not to park capital idly.
You're a joker, business in 9ja right now is equivalent to setting your money on fire, the statistics shows that majority of businesses in Nigeria fail or operate at a loss within the first 3 to 4 years but a well located property can always be sold at an amount that has appreciated. Your capital would be in tact and if you're lucky the profits will make you smile as well!

I think the reason why she could be jailed is because there is already a law made that teachers will be jailed for beating a child. It is already in the constitution. If the beating is appropriate for the age of this boy, I would have sided with you on this, but this beating is the type that should have been reserved for our corrupt politicians. The slaps are too heavy abeg. My chest almost broke up watching it.
I'm not saying what she did was appropriate, I'm saying the punishment should not be jail term, jail in Nigeria does not rehabilitate but it further diminishes people, let's not be like abroad folks who jail parents for spanking their children only for the children to end up in foster homes and receive even worse care.

If there's a law in the Constitution against physical discipling of students by teachers, I've yet to see it. I just believe the government needs to do a better job of enforcing these laws by educating the schools and teachers. You know what I'm saying, for example the no child labor act, the government actively went out and educated parents and the communities at large on why it is unacceptable.

Your sperm that is potent enough to produce another life is what you just release your pleasure. It weakens you. If you like console yourself asking silly questions “what about females”
This is the most comedic viewpoint I've read on this topic all my life, WTF are you saying? It is not the release of sperm that weakens you, it is the blood flow require to go from flat to stiff and then ejaculate. The male human body produces over 100 million sperm per day and can have sex 3 to 4 times per day and still be perfectly okay! In fact the more a man ejaculates, the stronger and much more healthier his prostate and overall health!
