She's three weeks nw and she's alwys awake during the day, wakes up like 3 or 4 times at night. She is just 3wks old and she likes been carried, when she is alone she'll start crying unless you carry her b4 she stops crying. [quote author=Chanbaby post=52917250]Some men are wonderful oh. My sis-in-laws friend called her and was saying she is tired that she can't wear pant without wearing pant liner cos fluid is always coming out of her body. My sil probed further only to find out her husband sleeps with her btw 3-4days a week each day 8times and she is currently pregnant in her 2nd trimester. She has had a child before even when she gave birth to her first he couldn't hold himself will come and be sucking her breast as the child is sucking until he starts having sex with her with the baby there.

Na wa o, strange things are happening. Do they live in America or is the man a white man. But it seems the woman is enjoying it or maybe she is there becos of the man's money, what. In hell is she waiting for, the man do chokes her when she is sucking him, sex 8times a day, is she a IndecentStar. To me o, I think the woman likes it even with pregnancy and she says she is waiting to have all her children b4 she thinks of divorce

I have the 3 years implanon on. It was done last year, only spotted some days after the procedure and AF has not come near me. I heard it doesn't fail, although bodies differ. I have an appointment for this January, although I have been feeling sick, but I refuse to imagine that it can fail. I will confirm when I get to the clinic

Ok. Thanks for ur reply

Good evening mamas in the house, am a ftm my 2weeks old baby breath fast why sleeping sometimes, apart from the fast breathing every other thing is ok because he sleeps very well and also feed well. I took him to the hospital yesterday and doctor said I should give him these drugs nospamin, ampiclox, multivitamin, paracetamol and vitamin c he said I should give my baby 0.5ml 3times a day.
Please experienced mothers is these drugs not too much for a 2weeks old baby.

What did he give you all those drugs for. Pls it's normal for newborns to breath fast while sleeping. My DD is also 2wks and she breaths fast while sleeping, its normal, my first son was also like dat. U can google it and read for yourself

Dear Mama,
Bodies differ. But it usually takes between one week to 3 weeks depending on the woman's body.
Mine healed in like 2 weeks but with constant sitz bath twice a day

I do my sitz bath twice a day, the pain has subside. But the suture didn't dissolve cos I do see some in my pad when I change, I used a mirror to look down there, and I saw fleshy part, though its not bleeding. Cos what I heard is that the suture will dissolve on its own after 2-3weeks, but mine is jux barely 1wk

Newborns tend to sleep a lot during the day, however check the colour of her eyes very well to rule out jaundice it cause sleepiness in babies, Otherwise just let her be and make sure you feed her well at night when she is willing to eat.

Thanks. She doesn't have jaundice, doctor checked b4 we were discharged

My one week old baby is always sleeping during the day, she prefers to sleep than to nurse, she is on exclusive breastfeeding, and I feel she is not eating much becos of her sleepiness, I have woken her up like 4times today to breastfeed her, she won't spend up to 10mins on the breast before she dozes off. But she wakes up like every 1hr plus at night to feed, she doesn't sleep much at night. What do I do?

Wow, finally... I have been unable to log on to nairaland with my phone. How is every one doing? Hope we are all fine. Ok, its time to post my birth story.

At my 40weeks appointment labour has still not started, the doctor said he won't check if I am dilated, that it is better for me to go into labour naturally, he said he'll give me one extra week b4 any other intervention. I went home, praying that labour should come b4 then, but still there's no sign of labour. Scan edd was 19 of dec, hospital gave me dec 23, second scan gave jan 4th. I was praying baby will come on december 25th. On the 27th of december I went for my antenatal visit, still with no sign of labour and I was 40wks+5days already. Went to see the doctor, he was still unwilling to do a vaginal check, he said he'll give me two extra days, I didn't wnt it to enter the new year. As we were talking the matron who owns the hospital came in, she checked my card and asked me to lie down, she measure my bump and was about leaving, I told her to check me, she said oya come nw since u are tired of the pregnancy, she did a vaginal sweep and told the doctor to insert a catheter for me, I went to the hospital with my son on that day, so the fixed the catheter and told me to go home and come bk with my bags, I was told to come bk immediately the catheter falls off. I didn't go home immediately, I went to the market, I was at the market when the catheter fell off, I rushed home, behold when I got home there was no one at home, brother inlaw left with key, and my key was just ontop my sons drawer, I had to look for a way to bring it out through the window. Fast forward to when I went bk to the hospital. I was induced at 4pm, was having mild contractions, was even thinking that by 11pm at most I would have delivered, the nurse even thought I'll deliver that 27th, but night came I started having strong and very painful contractions, the contractions were so painful that I cnt describe it, the contractions were like 4 to 3 minutes apart, but labour was not progressing, they checked I was still 6cm, I have not experienced such pain like dat in my life, I was induced with my first son, but approximately 5hrs I gave birth to him. My mother in law was there in the hospital with me praying, hubby went home to be with our son. Called my pastor to pray with me, one of my pastors even came to pray with me in the hospital. I was having serious contractions and even a painful bowel movement alongside with the contractions, though I thought I emptied my bowels that tuesday morning. I started asking myself why I even told them that I want to be induced, I was praying that It shouldn't end in a c-section, the nurse will come and check, they kept saying my cervix was thick and labour wasn't progressing, as if say no be the same cervix I take born my first baby. In the morning the contractions became worse, I though I'll pass out, I was like 8cm dilated then, I was so pressed, they won't allow me have a poo. Once the contractions come like dis, I'll start pulling my hair, hit my hand on the wall, shift the bed and scream like I was dying, gosh it was too painful. They put that pitocin in my I.V severally, I cnt even count how many they put. The nurse that was afternoon the previous day that thought I'll give birth that day, came again for morning duty, she was surprised that I was still in labour. We were 3 in labour, I met two women there and their labour was not progressing also, mine was even trying, cos the other lady was still in 3cm even after a lot drugs they inserted in her cervix. When it was time to push, I pushed twice and yeah I pooped also, b4 the baby came out, the nurse gave me a cut, as the baby small reach (2.5kg) delivered her at 9:33 on the 28 of december. They stitched me without even numbing the area, it was so painful. Infact for 4days I was still unable to walk. But I thank God for his grace, that nothing happened to my daughter and I. God has been faithful, can't really express hw happy I am now. God is wonderful. Her name is iyenoma which means goodnews

Wanted to go and see my doc today to check if i have stared dilating, but hubby said no that i should wait till my next appointment on tuesday . My prayer is to go into labour naturally on christmas day, but let God's will be done. i also forget things alot these days, on tuesday i hurried off to church, immediately i got dow frm the bus i remembered that our service is wednesday nd not tuesday, gosh, after spending my money and rushing dt i was late, with my son on my bk. ok. Went for my antenatal appointment last tuesday nd my bump measured 34weeks and i was 37weeks 6days according to my LMP. doctor ordered a scan, he said maybe it's becos of the baby's position or my fluid has reduced. scan said i was 36weeks pregnant, the heartbeat and amionioic fluid were very ok, infact the doctor said my baby is very active, but the baby's estimated weight was 2.7kg, the doctor said its becos the baby is small thats why i'm measuring behind. the scan gave a new edd of january 6, but my edd is suppose to be dis december. im not worried though, becos i have prayed abt everythn, and i knw my God will not let me down. still shopping for my baby things. pls does anybody knw if cussons range of baby product is good, cos i'm considering to buy it becos of the price.
