mama's how are we all doing. I have been away as a result of no mb to browse. Went for my antenatal checkup on tuseday and was given eardrops for my ear, doctor said I should still observe the vaginal itches maybe it is just irritation. I ran through the leaflet of the eardrop and it says not recommended during pregnancy, and I had this fear that I ruptured my eardrum while cleaning it so I decided not to use the eardrop at all. would have gone to see an ENT specialist since the pain started but becos of finance I couldn't go. I was able to raise 5k so I went to book for appontment in the general hospital with an ENT doctor. He suction my ear twice and I couldn't believed what came out of it, ear wax, paper, cotton bud. He wanted to suction it for the third time but I started feeling dizzy (dunno why, maybe its a common effect of the procedure) immediately I told the doctor that my eyes were turning me he stopped, though I wanted him to continue because I don't have another money to come for the procedure again, cos he said there were still stuffs in the ear. He placed me on dressing of the ear for three days, that alone will cost 3k for that three days, (you can imagine) dunno why he said I should be coming for dressing o, its not as if pus is coming out from the ear. Though my hearing is not completely back, he said the ear drop and the dressing will do the remaining work. I am so happy that my hearing is better now because this past 6days I have been feeling pain in the ear, accompanied with pressure in my head and I couldn't hear clearly. Its the worst feeling ever, especially when I'm in a crowded place. I have not been able to teach properly, because even when I'm talking I can't hear myself, was so scared that I was going to lose my hearing, was scared that I won't be able to sing in the choir again cause I couldn't hear my own voice, twas as if I'm talking from my head. In as much as the money pained me so much cos that one would have atleast bought a flask or somethn for the baby. I thank God that my hearing is better now and I am not going deaf. Lesson learnt, I will never clean my ears again with anything, cos I am so obssesed with sticking things in my ear whenever it itches me, if I can't get cotton bud I either use a bobby pin or roll up paper to clean my ear, doctor said its bad to clean your ears even with cotton bud, that you end up pushing more ear wax further into your ear canal which can cause an ear infection. I still have'nt gone shopping o, but i believe the God I serve will meet me at the point of my needs, I strongly believe things will get better soon. I just pray I get to my expected due date, that's one of my prayers. Please mama's pray for me, pray that God should open doors of financial breakthrough for my family and I. Hubby said I'll be going to stay with SIL after I deliver. God I just pray things get better soonest.

I saw stretch marks on my tummy d day I clocked 36weeks
My appetite is gone, Braxton hicks are more frequent now + my LO's movements are stronger now (I feel every twist and turn).

I can't wait n I'm counting down seriously. Done shopping, will pack my bag on Thursday after ANC.

DH is anxious too and is getting set too (after all na 2 of us de carry d belle )

Goodday everyone. I'm having vaginal itches o, since I shaved down there, I just put it off as irritation from the shaving but more than a week now the itching has not gone, but it became so severe this afternoon while coming back from work, was so itchy that I was crying. My ear is still hurting me, think I ruptured my ear drum, the pain was so severe yesterday but it has stopped, now my ear is blocked as if there is water inside it. Dunno what to do, I'll talk to my doctor about it tomorrow, though I registered in a private hospital dunno if they have an ENT department there. I'm just so sad now, and I had vowed not to clean my ears with anything again I still went to clean it because it was itchy me. Thirdly I noticed dried blood in my nose about four days ago, and when I cough (though I don't have cough, when I clear my throat) I noticed a tinge of blood followed the mucus frm my throat, this has happened like 3times over last week. I have my ante natal tomorrow so will lay my complain. Just that I don't have any money to buy drugs/run tests. Cos whenever you make a complain during pregnancy doctor will say you should run test. God help me. I just want my ear especially to go back to normal, the discomfort is not palatable at all especially when I am teaching

I want to lighten my skin what kind of creams and gel will you advice I use. I heard GnG is good, rapid white, sure white gel, fair and brite gel, kojie san soap and ashatee papaya soap, then tricia liquid bath soap

Thank God I didn't buy much newborn. Only got one short that is newborn, it was so cute, I just couldn't pass it buy. Though baby will outgrow it within two weeks or 1month. Baby clothes are quiet expensive this period o

Yh. Will do and start shopping o, though I have the major baby items from my first baby. Just pray God provides this week, for my first baby, I shopped for baby things at 7months. Infact I had already packed my hospital bag at 7months. Find it difficult to wake up early these days, infact my alarm does nothing again. I nw wake up by 6 and most times I find it hard to get outta bed even when awake, since this week I have been late to work twice, just pray for God help and strength. My ear is paining me o, I cleaned it with cotton bud because it was itching me, nw its paining me, and I keep having this ringing sound in my ears when I'm sleeping at night, though it started before I cleaned the ear. Yesterday when I was teaching, I felt a sharp pain in my left abdomen, it was so painful. Though I was sitting down, I had to quickly end the class so that my student won't notice. Still have'nt told the school authority about my leave o. Don't want them to knw when I'll deliver, just want it to be a surprise.

@sixx, me I'm not done with my shopping o. Infact I have not even started. I have only shopped for some clothes, socks and caps. and only two items in the hospital list, I am juxt tired o. My due date is knocking on the door, hubby has not dropped money yet, the economic situation chaii.

I don't know who this question might help so I'll just ask. Experienced mums that had a Vaginal birth, please can you explain the technique of how to push out a baby during delivery. I've read many birth stories where women said they couldn't push properly. It might help some of the FTMs here.

Push as if you want to pass out a very strong faeces. And its always good to push when you are having contractions. I dnt think that there is any woman that can't push during labour, maybe some other things might be delaying the arrival of the baby and not necessarily the pushing. When ur in labour you'll jux find yourself doing it

Ok. Easy does it! You have to be patient.

Get a fanciful potty like the one attached (dats more of a urinal, u can get a fancy potty lik dat), reward him each time he uses the potty.

Also, continue wit ur diapers wen needed else ur house will always av urine odor. If u ask me, I would say continue with pull ups at night instead of waking up often to help use the bathroom. Dats too much work for a pregnant mom.

No he hasn't started school. He'll start january by Gods grace.

How old is your toddler?Don't beat yourself to it. Potty training is a gradual process and a bumpy ride. It will take a lot of patience.

Don't know what to do, I have not been able to potty train my toddler. He was already using it but suddenly he just stopped, we were making progress before, he won't signify me if he wants to wee or poo. Just want him to stop using diapers, can't afford diapers for two babies. I wish he'll get use to it and stop using diaper before next month, what do I do. I dnt wear him diaper to bed, but off recent he always wee on his bed

Somebody should suggest a good lightening cream, and soap for me. I want to lighten my skin up to 3 shades and also a good and affordable suncreen. I dnt wnt to be fair but jux brighten my colour and maintain it there after.

I bought HAERS and GINT but unfortunately the gint I bought was fake cos it will only keep water hot for 3 hours. Haers is good and can keep water hot for 2 to 3 days.

Welcome to a new week mamas. We are getting closer to our due date. God has been extremely faithful in our midst TTC women porting here, supernatural birth alert, amazing looking women with their bump and so many thread cutes. God be praised.

Pls I need to ask about something. I have been in pain since yesterday. Each time I wear skirt or gowns my thigh robs each other and I starts feeling iritation on my thigh very close to my jajaina to a point I will have to wide my legs to walk and put pillow in between my leg to sleep cos of the terrible pain. I have used several anti-fungal cream like Epiderm, Endix-G and tydineal. Only tydineal was effect from the beginning but now it's no longer as effective. All dis started when I took in. I cannot wear pant again only free short but that doesn't do much. Pls has anyone experienced this? Pls what can I do?

Same here dear. I have been experiencing it a lot with this pregnancy, though right frm time my laps normally jam and get peeled if I dnt wear tight on my skirts or gown. But since this pregnancy even with tight it still get peeled, and I am not even comfortable wearing tight inside my skirt/gown becos of the heat

Ah ah. March is still far o. With my first pregnancy my bump started showing at 7month and with this second one I started showing at 6months, I am close to my due date and some pple will still look at my bump and think I am 5months pregnant.

Mama I teLl you o, some of those comments/remarks are so annoying. Last week, I was so tensed on a hot sunny day after my sister's wedding, and was rushing to my elder sisters working place to drop something for her before she goes home, I boarded a bus and sat at the back seat, u knw how difficult it is to climb that back seat sometimes especially nw that I'm heavy and was backing my toddler, I was also carrying a big polythene bag o, I was sweating profously and felt so uncomfortable. So when somebody came down from one of the front seats I decided to come down and seat down there because I had almost gotten to where I was going so that I won't seat at the last side in the back seat( that would be more stressful for me to come down) as I climbed the seat a woman at the back was like madam abeg why u dey hit that baby head ontop the door nw, me I didn't notice that my toddler's head hit the door o and he didn't cry, she mentioned that I did it the first time I entered the bus, with all the tension in me I jux lashed out and told her to leave me alone jor, that I'm so stressed out moreover the baby is mine, he didn't cry and I didn't deliberately hit his head on the door (if at all his head even hit the door). I was so surprised at myself the way I talked to that woman and she is far older than me. When I got to my sisters place I started regretting it and was like what about if this woman doesn't have any children of her own and I was there telling her that I am the one that gave birth to the child nobody gave birth to him for me. I felt I acted selfish and immature and wished I had not replied her in that rude manner. I boarded a taxi off recent, this time around just me alone, my toddler was in school when a lady was saying 'ah madam you jux press urself inside this motor, u suppose dey carry two seats because of your condition, u nor knw say as this motor tight ur baby sef no go dey comfortable, I jux told her I hear. Sometimes when I'm going to work people will be asking me why I am still backing my son to work, that I should allow him walk, that I am just stressing myself. But if I allow him walk that means I'll get to work late, cos I teach in a private school my principal frowns at teachers coming late. I back him to school and he walks home after closing. And some people in my school are still saying I am stressing him by making him walk home, I should back him. Mehn its not easy o, people will always level one complain about how you take care of your children

Don't leave my leg o, dats how I had 4 nurses with me dat night 1 for leg, 1 for back, 1 for stomach and standby nurse.

It continued o until 7 am. The midwife was like ur baby doesn't want to come down and I will not change shift until she delivers my baby, she just said baby come down in Jesus name. In less than twenty minutes baby made her descent and entry into the world with one strong push. Instead of my madam to cry, she came out sucking her fingers. D midwife burst into songs of praises and I was crying very heavy tears of joy and asking for my baby while she delivered the placenta, cleaned me up and stitched the little tear baby gave me.
They put her on my chest and I kept crying and crying before I gave her back to be dressed.

Congratulations. I claim this testimony. I and other pregnant mothers shall deliver safely in Jesus name without any complications

Has your doctor complained about your weight being too small for your pregnancy? if NO, then i don't think you should worry.
But if you still have doubts about it, you can raise the issue at your next appointment.

I have added just 7kg and i'm 34weeks - 3kg in 2nd trimester and 4kg in 3rd trimester. I used to worry when my weight didn't change for the first 23 weeks and my Dr said it happens. Not everyone undergoes the drastic weight gain cos pregnancies differ per person.

As long as you are eating well and have been certified healthy, then i really wouldn't worry. I think it's the other way round (weight loss) that should be a source of concern.

I'm kinda worried o. But my doctor is not complaining. My sister said maybe the scale is not reading well. Maybe its my nature becos I only added 12kg in the whole of my first pregnancy, frm first trimester to when I delivered at 41weeks. I started with 58kg and weighed 70kg at 40weeks
