Bro has a history of arrest due to some serious misunderstanding. Someone took him to court. He was charged to court and the case was dismissed because the accuser refused to show up to court.

Now I know that the question will show up in the application when I start his application. I am wondering if I should lie about it since the case was dismissed and closed like I said.

Do the VOs actually verify this police charge thing? In Nigeria, we do a lot of things on paper not online. How can this be detected?
I mean he can go and do a police check certificate and submit with his application to be on a safer side right?

It depends on the type of questions asked. Normally you answer yes to any criminal related question only if you have been convicted of any crime.

Be that as it may, I think you should paste specific questions being asked here for us to analyze. Personally speaking, I don’t think there’s any cause for alarm since he wasn’t convicted. This is my personal opinion without any prejudice.

Hello @Ozzz, @marykay101 am back again . My final decision is out and it is a refusal, after 4months and 23 days. See attached below reason quoted. What do they mean my documents lack authenticity? I can boldly say all the documents submitted are valid and none are falsified. Remember my husband’s visa has been denied since Nov 19th stating their usual generic reason and we applied together. I am quite confused about this but I Am going to request for my gmc notes to understand their reasons.I am more than determined to reapply and overturned this decision as I have never submitted a falsified document to apply for visa in any country

What are the documents submitted? The VO was referring to one as not being authentic. Did you also submit letter of explanation to give details about your application?

Please let him apply as a visitor based on his previous visa and no complicate the issue because canada has no category for medical visa and ur uncle applying to see a doctor will raise so much suspicious and proof you will not be a burden on tax payer may be request even when you provide proof ur visa can still be rejected because canada medical system priority for now is for citizen and resident not foreign visitors ...let him apply to see his daughter to make the application simplier then when visa issue he can go to visit his daugher then branch at dentist or any other doctor so far he can afford it

I am intrigued by your application so please permit me to extrapolate based on the information you provided.

You stated that you wont be visiting your brother while in Canada and you used the words "strictly for vacation". If that was actually how wrote it, then it could give a wrong impression that you are desperate enough to "deny" your brother to visit Canada especially if the two of you are in constant communication.

Further stating that you'd have challenges moving your family from Calgary to Toronto also gives a wrong impression. You've navigated 20 countries successfully and some of those countries with your family. Navigating calgary to toronto shouldn't be stated as a challenge.

I believe your letter played a huge role in this refusal. Maybe you were trying to avoid a refusal from family ties in Canada. I don't think it would have been a problem considering your excellent profile.

I wish you success in your next application.

Yes i did, also included my canadian and Nigerian bank statements. There is more than enough in them to feed 5 other mouths for more than one year, that wasnt the issue. Their reason was travel history and no convincing evidence that she would return back to Nigeria after her stay.

Does she stay together with dad in Nigeria? That could prove a tie back to Nigeria. If she stays alone, obviously VO will guess she has no business coming back to Nigeria most especially as she has not travelled out of Nigeria before. Basically you need to prove beyond reasonable doubt that she will go back to Nigeria after her authorized stay. Does she run any business in Nigeria? Any house document in her name? These are examples of how she can prove tie in Nigeria.

Refusal is almost guaranteed . However, writing why you forgot to declare that refusal is paramount now in order not to get a ban. That’s what you should work towards now. However, God is a God of miracle. Anything can happen....

Well, it still gets depleted in a way. That's why the tank needs to be refilled every 6 hours.

This is what the guy did. He uses the battery to power a DC pump which in turn generates water pressure which eventually rotates the turbine inside the enclosure. The turbine, of course, is connected to an alternator which eventually generates electricity through faraday's law of electromagnetic induction (Not new). Part of the generated current is fed back to both power the DC pump and also recharge the battery. From the video, you will see that the battery can be disconnected once the system starts generating electricity. What the brilliant dude has done is to create a mini hydro plant. However, In a typical hydro plant, the free fall of water (Gravity) is what turns the turbine. In this case, Nelson is using water pressure generated using the DC pump to turn the turbine (@860 rpm) inside the enclosure. This is his innovation. The design of a steam turbine is definitely different from the design of a turbine that will be driven by pressure generated by the free fall of water which is typical in a normal hydro plant as I explained earlier. Nelson's invention is the design of the turbine that uses water pressure generated by the DC pump to run. That is where his creativity is. That is where is innovation is. Remember, he did not buy the turbine from china from what I gathered. He used commonly found objects around him to build this turbine. Further information also revealed that the smart dude refused to open the enclosure for anybody. This is because that's where his invention or innovation is. For the thermodynamic folks, he did not create a perpetual motion machine. According to him, a full tank of water in his machine will work for maximum of 6 hours after which the water would have to be refilled again. The system is rated 1KVA. The guy has done creditably well and should be appreciated especially if you consider his level of exposure and education. He should be encouraged and professionals and investors should rally round him to take the project to the next level. God bless him and God bless Nigeria.

No, you have to submit with the passport you applied with(As far as I know). Canada will give you visa till expiry date of your passport and not beyond.

On 29 October 2018, a brand new Boeing 737 MAX 8 flight JT610 owned by Lion Air travelling from Jakarta to Pangkal Pinang on the island of Bangka crashed into the Java Sea 12 minutes after takeoff. All 189 passengers and crew were killed in the accident.

Investigations revealed that the crash was caused by the automated “angle of attack” (AOA) anti-stall sensor that activated the system and was giving a false reading.

A stall is a dangerous situation where the lift from an aircraft's wings no longer is enough to counter the weight of the plane, causing it to lose control and fall.

The malfunction initiated a 12-minute tug of war as the system — called the Maneuvering Characteristics Augmentation System (MCAS) — repeatedly forced the plane’s nose down and the pilots brought it back up again.

At the end of this wrestling match, the pilots lost control and the jet went into a steep dive, crashing into the Java Sea at approximately 500 miles per hour.

US airlines pilot union say Boeing did not include any mention of the new system in the Aircraft Flight Manual. Further, the system activates automatically with no notice given to the pilot and they have also not being taught how to respond if it malfunctions. The pilots say they actually learned about MCAS after the LionAir crash.

In November, Boeing delivered the ill-fated 737 Max 8 plane to Ethiopia Airlines maybe without informing them of the MCAS system issues or training their pilots on how to handle the system if it malfunctions.

On Thursday March 7, 2019 just 3 days ago, a Seattle personal-injury law firm sued Boeing on behalf of the families of 17 Indonesian passengers who died in the crash.

Today the Ethiopian Airlines 737 Max 8 has crashed just 6 minutes after take off. Could the same system be responsible?

Most likely YES and the rest of the 737 Max 8 and 9 in operation should be grounded until a solution is found and pilots trained on how to deal with a malfuntion of the system to avert another disaster.
