Launch CIT in the settings to check if the mic is working or broken.

i know you tap one of the lines in the about section but i don't know which one gets you to CIT

Edit: looked it up, it's the kernel number. Tap it three times

I really don't know the purpose of this post.

Do you really think a doctor who knows what they're doing will tell you anything other than to go to a hospital?

The story doesn't add up either: she's not so broke that she cannot go to a govt hospital for something that clearly tortures her every night.

Btw, if It kills her in the night whilst she's at your house (god forbid)... I wonder how you'll explain that little story to Nigerian police in addition to being grief-stricken and emotionally scarred for life.

Please, you people should stop competing for nobel prize in "faulty decision-making"

Why don't we just help you pipu put your typing energy to good use.

Assignment: write a letter to a frenemy, telling him or her 10 things you like (and dislike) about them

Not less than 1000 words. Winner gets a cool picture of my choice wink

I wonder if it's a problem with jumia app or twitter app.

I don't use twitter but a browser like Firefox provides the option to open links in external apps or in the browser.

If other app links are affected then it's probably the twitter app. If it's only affecting jumia then... I dunno

Boredom is the mistress of update-fever. When you're bored you start looking for update up and down.

It's better to learn how to customize your phone to do what you want. If you really want new features, there are ways of acquiring them on a weekly basis, if you want.
Even without "jailbreaking", there are apps that transform the user experience remarkably, if you know how to look. In fact, many of the new update features usually already existed in some app for months or years.

Miui12 looks cool but it's not that big a deal. Miui14 will soon come and your troubles will start all over again.

Meanwhile: iphone users are leaning over from their side of the fence, laughing amongst themselves, because it's so inconceivable to them that people will not get updates grin

I dunno why there is a discussion about 4g sim upgrade. When it's not that someone wants to live in the darkness forever.

If you have a 3g sim, go and change it to 4g whenever you can. Simple.

You pipu shaa want phones to weigh 400grams by force.
It's better power efficiency and faster charging that os needed, not 10000mAh batteries.

So i had a very interesting conversation today with a friend. She has always been a die hard Samsung edge display fan right from our law school days. She is of the opinion that using any form of covering on the screen of an amoled curved screen device is like a sin.More like buying a beautiful leather chair and covering it with a plastic wrap.Like when and how do you enjoy the beautiful and vivid screen display?

She believes that these screen protectors don't do anything much to enhance the durability of the screen in the case of major drops or preventing scratches since the Corning gorilla glass 5 already does that?

I did a google search and actually saw that a lot of persons advocate against screen protectors on modern phones phones with a Corning gorilla glass protection.

Me I can't shout o,i like having some form of screen protection even though i love the look of my phone screen display without anything on it.However, psychologically,it makes me feel safe knowing my phone screen isn't bare and vulnerable to mild cracks and scuffs.

I know for bad high impact drops to the floor, only Jesus can save you and that phone. Both the tempered glass and the phone screen will shatter.Who else shares the same view as my friend. Will you be comfortable flexing your device without any added screen protector?
I despise screen guards. I'll use the liquid thing if i can get something that isn't fake then I'll continue to treat my phone like an egg.
gorilla glass 5 is pretty hard to break, at least by the usual drops (which i keep to a minimum).

I think it's important to identify the factors that contribute to accidental drops. Reduce/avoid those and you'll probably be fine.
Phones are slippery so put yours in a case.
If the phone is too big for your hand size, you're more likely to have accidents.
Using short charging cables (especially for those who charge and use the phone simultaneously) can be problematic.
Phones and edges... Not a good combo. If your phone is on the table, let it be on the table; not that the thing will be dangling like someone that is contemplating suicide.
If you think you'll sleep off wherever you're lying down, be it the bed or couch... Just respect yourself by lowering the height of your phone in your hand

The list goes on. If you take care, your phone will probably be fine.

If you have little children at home, I'll continue to remember you in my prayers

Where do you always see these people that gives false information like this?

What was the error you got when it completed the flash?
I've been scouring the Internet ni o. grin

I didn't actually get an error. The thing just didn't boot into system. I figured out what the problem was during my second attempt: i didn't let it boot all the way to the system after data format. It was taking too long so i thought it was stuck so i interrupted it.
i just allowed it to boot all the way the second time, went back to recovery, wiped the data and co, tried to Reboot to system but that one was really stuck so i just Rebooted to recovery and flashed.

It went smoothly, like a baby's bottom and i gave myself a pat on the back cool

Go ahead. No fear. Just have a back up of your important things to a flash drive or Gdrive. Copy d zip file to a flash drive or to your laptop
Boot to recovery
Format data (d one with yes to format) .
Wipe data davlick vendor system cache
Copy the EU ROM zip file to your phone internal memory
Flash d ROM, magisk if u want to root
Boot to system
Boooommmmmm.
It went... Not so we'll.

Any ideas?

You first do a data format (the one with yes)

Reboot to recovery after that, then you do the wipes in the screenshot above. And flash the ROM.

I'm used to typing really fast without errors. Sometimes i type a few words without looking at my screen. Its not the same for me on every redmi with this compact form factor. I've had to sell my redmi note 7, mi A3 and note 8 for the same reason. People who bought those phones are all nairalanders.
My advice...
Be sure about the specs of the device before you get it. I still don't fully understand this typing speed thing but i think you're saying it's related to the size/build of the device.

So just compare those parameters with what you've found comfortable in the past. For example, I'm tired of using heavy phones so i limit my search to phones under 176g. I'm also tired of huge phones so i limit my search to a certain screen size. That's how to avoid changing phones for avoidable reasons.
Unless you just like changing phones shaa, which is totally okay too

Save contact on Gmail or mi account as if we'll always use android or xiaomi phones abi?
Me that will switch back to iPhone immediately iPhone xr price drops back to how it was pre-coronavirus.

If I save my contacts on Gmail or mi account I won't be able to add them to my contacts on iPhone.
I don't know what's up with iPhone these days (though i expect things to be easier) but i used to use an app to copy my Google contacts to iPhone on my iPhone 6, many years ago.

If you look, you'll find. There's no excuse for using sim to save your contacts
