Jobs/VacanciesStart Preparing For 2021 by AbdulAkpan(op):
The year 2020 is almost over. This year has been the most draining in recent times. The world is currently going through a lot.

Yet, some people are still getting jobs and other opportunities in and outside their countries of origin.

It is a great idea to start making plans for how your 2021 is going to be.

Although survival is the greatest achievement for this year, it is never too early to make plans and start doing the things that will help 2021 to be a better year for you.

Many times, some professionals find themselves looking at and studying the way their peers are executing their career plans, so, they can copy them.

This is a bad idea.

Imagine if we all had the same character/behavior, there would be no variety. We would all be so predictable.

You must never tailor your career to look like that of your friend/colleague. They have their journey, you have yours. No two are the same.

Some people land lucrative jobs easily, others may be required to become self-employed. Everyone must chart their own course.

You can attend career seminars, workshops and conferences.

You can read career-centric websites and books. You can also gather as many mentors as possible across various industries.

However, if you do not decide to make relevant efforts towards ensuring the progress of your career, it will all be in vain.

You alone can motivate yourself to succeed. Every other thing can only guide you - Omono Okonkwo.

Your career success must not be domicile in your country of origin/residence.
CareerThink Global, Not Local by AbdulAkpan(op): 1:45pm On Oct 25, 2020
Think Global, Not Local.

There has never been a better time to target the global market, no matter the industry you work in.

Of course, not everyone will relocate from their country of origin/residence.

However, tech infrastructure has made it possible to develop relevant skills and apply for remote jobs, across industries.

You can also build your personal brand using your social media platforms. This way, you can get the attention of individuals outside your country, who can give you work opportunities.

Check your Promotion and Social. If not found, it means you have mistakenly deleted it. Then search your mail with Nigerian Oil and Gas Recruitment as key words. I once deleted mine, but later did search and restore.
