Abegi. He's just preparing to run for president in 2023, that's why he's saying this. He loves Nigeria exactly the way it is. If una like, allow him deceive you people. |

Trust is not only needed in personal relationships. It is also an important part of your career. Why? For anyone to look forward to working with you or even give you opportunities for work and third party networking, they need to be able to trust you. How trustworthy are you? If for instance, I work as a monitoring and evaluation (M&E) officer at an NGO and my reports always show inconsistencies, trust will become a non-factor between me and my colleagues. However, if I always wrote reports to reflect the truth at all times, even if doing so, will implicate one or two dishonest people, I will become someone to trust, even if some people will hate me. The thing about building trust is in the long run, even those who hate you cannot deny your trustworthy nature. At the end of the day, you will set yourself up for more opportunities from those who work or have worked with you. Your work ethic should include trust if you want to go far in your career, because no one wants to work with someone who is lacking integrity. Good luck! ✍️ Source - Omono Okonkwo (Lingo Africa). |
Thank you all for reading. Good morning! |
What is the difference between being Intentional about your career and going with the flow? Here's an example... If I lose my job, I can start looking out for job vacancies and apply for the positions I feel qualified for and wait to be invited for interviews. Rinse and repeat. Or... 1. I can upgrade my work skills based on relevance in my chosen industry. 2. Look out for major industry players/decision makers and offer them value so as to increase my visibility for work opportunities. 3. Make use of all my social media platforms to write about my work, thereby paving the way to become a thought leader in my field of work. 4. Have specific career goals in mind for any event, webinar, conference I attend or groups/associations I join. This is how to be intentional about your career. Not waiting for things to happen, but, knowing what you want and going after it. Good luck! ✍️ Source - Omono Okonkwo (Lingo Africa). |

Same youths that are being hunted and killed on the streets? Same youths that are being harassed for having laptops and smartphones? They should use the fund and train their police officers on knowledge of digital skills and the fact that the world has gone beyond sitting in an office all day for a paycheck. |
