Phones / Re: South East Ranks Lowest In Internet Usage As 9m Nigerians Lose Access by AbijaJ: 2:00pm On Feb 21, 2022
This has been the trend for close to a decade or so since this data started getting recorded by the Telcos. The same trend applies to voice-data as well, not just internet. I think it could be because the Igbos don't have enough purchasing power to load their phones for internet access compared to other regions. Even the boko-haram ravaged North-Eastern region fares better than them in that regard.

My point is simple
Osinbajo is the best man fit for the Job...

That's your business and you're entitled to your opinion. The Alaafin has said what he said. In the meantime, tell Osinbajo to grow some balls and declare for the presidency before one can even discuss his chances. Abi you are amongst his supporters that's waiting for Tinubu to step down for him? If na so, you are sitting on a loonng thing.

This sort of behaviour from you Tinubu haters reinforces the fact that you all are scared shitless of his chances. Abeg rest.

Yes, nothing is guaranteed, but he's got momentum on his side compared to the rest. Anyway, Asiwaju is in a league of his own and has his eyes on the ball, no room for distractions. E no even send hin detractors. He's been in the politics game long enough to play and understand what it takes to win at this level.

His detractors claim he is 'too sick' and 'too old' to be president yet he's been traversing Kano, Abuja, Niger, Sokoto, Oyo, Ogun, without showing any sign of slowing down. The ones wey 'young' wetin dem dey do?? Asiwaju is putting in the work with mad work-rate, and crushing the competition. When he eventually reaps the rewards and ultimately becomes president, we will hear what else they have to say.

Please add in Yoruba land.ss/se don't lick arses and don't worship people.
In gej was a Yoruba man most yorabas would have been worship him as a God just like how Yoruba Muslims worship tinubu.
About osun election,I don't give a fk,they can go to tell.

You keep talking about Tinubu being 'worshiped' by Yorubas in spite of contrary and abundant evidence that shows that PDP has a robust footing in the SW. The worst part about your hypocrisy is that you actually worship Nnamdi Kanu who has brought nothing but brigandage, insecurity, terrorism, opposition to dissent, amongst other retrogressive trends to igboland.

To further highlight your worship of Kanu, you people shut down your region on his command every Monday. Tinubu or any other individual in Yorubaland can never have that level of zombie-devotion, only in igboland can you people take your hero-worship to such insane lenghts. Yet you accuse Yorubas of worshipping Tinubu. Some of you Igbos have no shame. Your hypocrisy is just too unfortunate.

kongaowner:
90% of you people here are just commenting and supporting oyetola in which you have no clue what's happening in my state. Let me tell you the real reason and the secret of aregbe's greivances, it's all due to Omisore. The truth is Omisore killed Bola ige, Now your friend turned to someone that killed your brova for favour all because of politics.. Aregbe felt betrayed and downsized. So the inconclusive election is the major cause of this. I'm talking as APC exco member

Rubbish talk. Omisore hasn't been proven to be the killer of Ige. He was imprisoned under the allegation and assumption that he did but evidently he didn't do it; he was stupid enough to have made some threats against the man before his demise, that was his undoing. Until and unless the courts can find him guilty of the crime, he's free to associate with whomsoever is willing to associate with him and for that reason Oyetola is within his right to associate with Omisore politically, after all, the same Omisore made his victory possible after Aregbe put his election in jeopardy due to his mismanagement of the state and failure to deliver ijeshaland to the APC during that election.

Aregbesola messed himself up by mismanaging his erstwhile goodwill in the eyes of Osun people, which made Oyetola's election more difficult than necessary. He should respect himself and face his ministerial duties else o ma kan abuku las las.

Travel / Re: Trains Built For Milwaukee-Madison High-Speed Rail Line Are Coming To Lagos by AbijaJ: 8:37am On Jan 19, 2022
Throwback:
Who else noticed similarities between the Milwaukee Wisconsin train cancellation vs what happened to the initially planned Lagos Metroline project of the Jakande regime that was cancelled by the Buhari military regime?

A change of government shouldn't always result to a delay of infrastructure.

Both scenarios resulted to paying fines for the contract cancellation without receiving any equipment.

Ironically, the equipment from the cancelled Milwaukee contract would now be purchased by Lagos to complete a similar project that suffered cancellation almost 40yrs ago.

That's why administrative continuity can make or mar the developmental strides of an area (be it a country or state). E.g, if a PDP government had taken over from the APC, the project may have just died a natural death, same way Wike abandoned PH's mini-version. The new administration would cookup every possible reason why the project is 'wasteful' and 'unnecessary'. It's what I consider one of the demerits of partisan democracy. Partisanship killed off the original project the trains were meant for in Wisconsin, because the new administration would feel the previous one would get credit for the project if the incumbent one completes it.

Politics / Re: Babafemi Ojudu: Not Surporting Tinubu Is Not Betrayal, I Won't Be Blackmailed by AbijaJ: 11:39am On Jan 18, 2022
Osinbajo and Ojudu should call some of Prof's supporters who are attacking Tinubu to order. Politics doesn't have to degenerate to rofo rofo fight because there'll still be life after politics.

It's not a crime if Prof chooses to contest against Asiwaju, but it doesn't have to degenerate into the type of slugfest that some Osinbajo supporters are making it into.

There's a particular group that calls itself Osinbajo Support Group that I suspect is a peopled by PDP supporters, that has been attacking Tinubu for aspiring for the presidency as if it is not within his right to do so. Ojudu and Prof should call such people to order.
