Baba relax, you can still do the payment with form A with ‘Paymytuition’, I guess they are just international paying platform just like Flywire….Follow the instruction d school gave to you. Go to paymytuition, input the Amount CAD you were asked to pay by NBCC, then it take you to another page, eg Bank transfer in naira, master card/visa card etc, But select you are paying with another currency which is (USD), then next you input all your informations, and they will sent you payment instructions for the form A.

All the best.
Kennyjoy thank you so much, but please I want to pay from my U.B.A Naira account .

Pay through CBN portal www.tradesystem.gov.ng even if you go to bank they will still tell you to make payment through CBN portal. Once you login, it will direct you on how to fill form A. I paid 4 days ago through the portal. Very easy and straightforward.

Please if you are paying through CBN using form A, is it that your school banking details is already there or you got their Bank account from your school?
I'm asking because, I mailed my school to give me the school banking details for me to pay through Form A. They replied that their payment option is through paymytuition and i read on this platform that form A is the cheapest.
Please how do I go about it? My school is NBCC college.

Form A is definitely better and cheaper. PayMyTuition rates are quite high. Ask your school for their international transfer details so you can make use of the Form A option. Cheers

Please how do I go about paying the school fees with FORM A.

Long post alert
Testimonytime

What God cannot do does not exit.

My Canadian dream started at the lowest point of my life, January 7th 2016. I watched with the greatest pain I ever experienced when the doctor brought out my full term stillbirth baby in Methodist Hospital Houston Texas, USA. I knew there and then that I can do nothing without Jesus and surrendered completely to Him at my lowest ebb. I changed my moniker from Twingirls to Testimonytime ( Twingirl is still on Nairaland land, though I am not using it again).

Fast forward to when answered my prayers and I wanted to travel again for the birth, my visa application hang and I meant hung in the air.

After several failed attempt at express entry, due largely to age, I resolved to student visa, I refused to give up.

Submitted my first application on 21st February and got refusal on 18th March on lieing about previous refusal, personal asset and financial status and employment situation.

Reapplied 16th April
Medical passed 30th April
Requested gcms June 21st, came back blank 21st July
Eligibility started 22nd July
Reapplied for gcms 23rd July, came back with recommended interview 13th September
Eligibility went back yesterday to “we will tell you when we start reviewing your application”
PPR – 4th November

I give all glory to God, He made this possible
I appreciate Justmellow who wrote my LOE and even in my state of dejection, I knew he did an extraordinary work on my LOE, he advised me further on steps for the reapplication and followed up all the way.
Keji, an angel I met on nairaland, who proof read my SOP, compiled all my documents into pdf and resize ( working tirelessly even at midnights)
Lekiboboe who advised me to go for pgd in Culinary management Selkirk College BC instead of CNA diploma
Frankrobn who encouraged me to re- fire and not loose hope
Annon123, Ayokaq, Akoko123 and others who assisted in one way or another either by suggesting relevant documents or supporting me through the trying six and half months of waiting. I am 43 years old, I changed career from law to culinary practice. Sponsor was my husband and God came through for me. I have no doubt He did it all, PPR is God’s miracle. Men ought to pray and not faint, I prayed my ppr into existence and did the best I could on the document submitted.
Congratulations

LONG POST ALERT!

My PPR journey

It's been Grace nothing else!

First time applicant

LoA @ Conestoga college: Dec 11 2020
•study visa application submitted: July 19th 2021
•Biometrics letter: July 20th 2021
•Biometrics completed and updated: July 22nd 2021
•Upfront Medical done: Jan 10 2021(months before applying for my visa)
•Medical updated to pass: July 27th 2021
•Eligibility review: sept 25th 2021 (sighted), not sure of the exact date it started.
I did not catch any ghost update
•BVL/ppr: October 26th 2021

My story
I got my admission into Conestoga College to study Construction management with coop (2 years program) Admitted for fall 2021. I deferred almost immediately to winter 2022 so as to enable me have enough time for researching on how best to submit a nice application (i have later realised that the success of this journey is in no way by my power, it's been Grace)

Prior to applying to Conestoga, I had gotten admission into Carleton uni for meng prog in civil Engr. I also had $25k loan from MPOWER financing for my offer at Carleton.

I was about preparing my visa doc when I stumbled on some posts on Nairaland emphasizing on coop opportunities. Since my offer at Carleton did not provide coop, I opted for Conestoga. This choice was also at the expense of losing the loan from MPOWER as they do not offer loan for pgd/pgc programs.

As a self sponsor, Frankrobbn advised that it's best to show pof of the total duration of study as against showing pof for first year only. Tuition is approximately 18kcad per year (36kcad for 2 years) + 20kcad for living expense for 2 years. Frankrobbn insisted that I show a pof greater than 56kcad for total duration of study.

This seemed impossible but God in his infinite mercy provided assistance as well as the wisdom to solve the challenge. Myself and Frankrobbn brainstormed on how best to tell a convincing story to the visa officer as follows;

I theoretically expanded my dads computer engineering firm to include a construction arm. Since this will not reflect in the cac document, I had to do some serious explanation in my sop. I deliberately did this to help strengthen my home tie further claiming that id return to fully manage the biz (just as most of us applicants would always say grin). I then compelled/convinced/forced/pressured/begged my dad to send me some money monthly (salary simulation) for 6 months (from Jan to June). Not that he was financially buoyant enough, God did His thing.

Employment
1. Project director at my fathers company (part time) - Gof tech Ltd

2. Construction sales engineer at a multinational company (full time) - Mbcc ltd

education
BTech in civil engineering 2016.
_Note that I was almost about to complete a masters in civil engineering at Uni of Ibadan, but I did not disclose this in my application._

_I also ensured that my Linkedin account as well as other relevant social media profile maintained these stories._

Documents submitted

1. LOA from Conestoga college

Special appreciation
First and foremost to God and my parents. My dad used to pray only on crossover night. The intensity of his prayers increased when I applied for my visa. My mum, she loves prayers more than her husband.

Frankrobbn. Really, I can't stress how good he is, especially when it comes to telling stories and brainstorming ideas to convince the visa officer. Yes I paid for his service, I was more than willing to - considering the high number of success rates and testimonies shared all around by several applicants who have employed his service.

Other particular gurus on NL such as Ralphudoh, Chocs, Justmellow and Lekiboboe(now canadaboboe grin). These gurus helped in answering my tonnes of questions.

My bosses at work were so understanding and helpful. It's a peaceful feeling to have non toxic employers.

My friends Aminat (now at Cornell uni, New York), Mujib (uni of Toronto), Mubarak (uni of Alberta). These 3 idiotic geniuses helped me a lot on my SOP with corrections & proofreading's.

Lessons learnt in this journey
1. A cheerful giver will never lack. Showing good deeds has it's way of coming back to bless the giver in multiple folds.
2. Be hungry for knowledge, do a lot of research (homework). Whatever is worth doing at all is worth doing well.
3. Having and developing a cycle of good friends have a powerful impact on ones intellect, financial and physical health.
4. God factor can never be overemphasized.

To all PPR hopefuls, God will grant you all your heart desires. To all approved applicants, may we all excel globally.
Congratulations brother, I'm so happy for you, thank you for your help during my first application, may Canada favour you in Jesus name. Amen

CHIKACIC:
Part 20! Yes oooo. It’s good to be here again and give back to the community that I gained so muccccch from. You all are part of my success story and may all PPR hopefuls keep hope alive.

Landing Gist:

23rd/24th August 2021.

I arrived at the airport around 4:30pm for my 8:30pm flight, with my hubby and big bro. Hubby went to park the vehicle, so I went into the airport with my bro. My bags (2 check in bags, 1 hand luggage and my laptop bag) were scanned at the entrance and the NDLEA guy then physically searched one of the bags and made their usual comments of "find something for me naa" but big bro just ignored them. We were then directed to the airline counter.

My bags were weighed and they were all within the limit allowed (had a scale at home). Hubby now came around, and with big bro they went to take care of wrapping the two check-in bags (I have heard stories of peoples' bags being tampered with). I then went for passenger profile/document verification. Everything went smoothly to the extent that one of the officers commended me for having all the required documents. After that, my bags were checked in and my boarding passes were issued. We then took care of FX and by then it was around 5:30pm. Hubby and big bro kept me company for another hour and after taking some pics, they then took their leave (I almost started crying when hubby was about to leave).
I then reminded myself of one of my many mantras: "EYES ON THE BALL"....lol.
I then went in for immigration checks, oh boy come and see line/queue. Finished that and went and sat down for boarding, which commenced a few minutes later.
The flight was 7hrs 20mins from Lagos to Doha (Qatar Airlines) and their food wasn't my thing, though I enjoyed the sausage and rice (with tiny bits of chicken). Drinks were also provided and in flight entertainment was okay.
We arrived Doha, and mennnn the hot air that heat my face when we disembarked na die. I quickly rushed to meet up with my connecting flight to Montreal (13hrs 15 mins from Doha to Montreal, next time it's European airline).

We arrived Montreal 2 and half hours to my next flight to Toronto. Immigration checks next- The queue here na die because the immigration officers on seat were very few and were not fast enough. We complained to one of the officers and we were told their is nothing they can do and that if we miss our flight, the airline will rebook at no extra cost. That calmed me down a bit, but CBSA were not fast enough.
While we were on the queue, an Asian/International student was not allowed to enter because CBSA could not verify her status on her school portal. Even after she told them she has already paid her fees. Oh boy, come see crying and begging, but no way. She was immediately booked on the next available flight back to her home country. E shock me ooo. I was like: abeg God, I don't mind missing my flight or even sleeping in this airport till the next morning for immigration to do their thing as long as I get stamped in.....lol.
My documents were eventually verified and my permits (Study and Work) were issued. I had to also do a Covid-19 arrival test free of charge and I was given a take home kit for my day 8 test. We were also advised to carry our checked-in luggages since we are switching to another airline. All these made me to miss my flight. So, the airline (Air Canada) rebooked my flight, checked in my bags and 1 hour 20 mins later I arrived Toronto.
At Toronto airport it took a while, but I eventually picked my bags and went out to meet my pick up.

Since I am not fully vaccinated (was only able to get the first dose of AstraZeneca), I am on 2 weeks (14 days) quarantine and I check in every morning with ArriveCAN and COVID-19 Alert apps. I am presently on day 4 of my quarantine. Currently online checking out places to rent, though I can't book appointments to view the property (quarantine wahala).

Hoping and praying that everything falls in place according to my plans in Jesus name. Amen!

To God be all the glory!

It will end in praise!

Congratulations sis.

Esom16:
So here is my timeline and story.
2nd time applicant.
Previous rejection was based on financial assets and my dad was my sponsor but he had like 3m balance as at then sha.
February 13th,2021: Reapplied using my Dad's brother (uncle) as my sponsor.
February 25th: NSE request came in . It requested mbs and IELTS. I already had TOEFL and I honestly didn't want to write IELTS neither did have that funds sef. So I took time contemplating on whether to respond or just ignore. And also my uncle had travelled back to Europe and I didn't know how to start disturbing him again for MBS when I had already stressed him with the documents and account statements he had provided already.it even delayed his travel plans sef. Omo!
Sha, I responded with mbs (after I wrote my uncle one long message pleading for his help just this last time for mbs and explained what Mbs was to him cuz the whole mbs thing was still new then) and then a letter explaining the IELTS equivalent scores of my TOEFL result. (I got the comparison from ETS website sha and the idea from a certain moniker here. I've forgotten his name.). I submitted finally March 22nd or so.
March 25th: They started reviewing my additional documents and all.

Since then...Radio silence......

Raised webforms and sent emails and nothing.

Decided to book upfront medicals for June 8th with IOM Abuja so that I'll know I'm not the one owing IRCC.

June 10th: Medicals updated to passed And eligibility started that same day. It was a relief.
However, another radio silence again.... Ofcourse webforms and emails...but then nothing.
July 2nd: Ordered GCMS notes
July 15th: Ghost Update but then my eligibility that had already started went back to "we will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility" (sobs)...I was like what is all this kwanu. Who did I offend.
Anyways.
July 28th: Ghost Update. My eligibility started again.
August 5th: GCMS notes landed. Nothing substantial was there. My eligibility was blank and no preassessment notes. I weak .
August 9th: I emailed 5 MPs in my province. 2 responded positively offering to help. I sent them my details.
August 10th: 1 MP responded telling me everything is looking positive with my application and if a decision is not made by the end of next week, I should let him know. I use that one get small hope but not too much hope.
The other MP gave me a generic response from IRCC on August 13th. No hope.
August 16th: I couldn't hold on anymore with the scarcity of PPR. And I just wasn't prepared for fall semester again somehow so I deferred. My new admission letter for Winter was sent.
August 18th: 7:16 am...PPR dropped!!!.

During all this, I prayed, prayed my rosary like never before, fasted too join. Got tired of praying at some point but what else do you think can solve your problem ..it's only prayer oo. So I continued. Yesterday night, I told God, me I yaff tire oo but anything wey He wan do, make He do. No problem. But I haff tire. And this morning He put a very big smile on my face and tears of joy on my face. This experience thought me patience and faith on another level.
Because the truth is my application is not superb o. The documents I submitted only God knows. I didn't submit my personal account (I lost my job in December), my uncle didn't send any money to my account and I only paid tuition deposit (my dad paid). I didn't submit any affidavit. And also with MBS I had no idea if there was lump sum or if there was no lump sum. I tried asking my uncle if there was and he was like I'm a business man what do your expect ..omo. lol. So my fear was massive. But I sha just kept believing applications are just different. God will do magic and miracle for me.
Omo I thank you all. Everybody for the contributions made here that helped me refire. Im really grateful for this platform.

Documents submitted for proof of finanace
1. Uncle's statement of accounts. 5 different accounts ...I know lol i was even scared I spoilt the whole thing by adding 5 accounts (2 business,2 personal and 1 domiciliary)
2. Uncle's CAC
3. Family tree
4. Letter of sponsorship from my uncle
5. My dad's birth certificate where his parents full names were stated.
6. My Uncle's change of name affidavit where his parents full names were shown because he has a different surname from my dad but were born of the same parents (very complicated sha) but explained in my LOE.
7. My Uncle's driver's license.
8. Picture of my uncle and dad and other siblings with parents
9. Picture of me, my uncle and his wife.

Don't give up. God is still God. And those still hoping on PPR, I pray God comes through for you all.
I'm really grateful to God.

But please quick question: this my new winter admission letter, when is the best time to send it to IRCC ..before I send my passport for stamping or after it has been stamped. She they will not take back their visa approval of they see I have deffered

Congratulations to you.

First, I want to say a big Thank You to Vicky. I dunno your moniker but you know yourself. Thank You for helping reach out to the family here on my behalf. I really appreciate you for that!

Next I'll like to appreciate the entire Nairaland family for the show of love. Omohh e no easy. My heart is full of so much gratitude to every single one of you.

No need to make this a long post abeg undecided
Ending of April no funny for me atall
Robbed on April 25
Application denied on April 27.
It was even more painful as I had to view it on my PC screen. The thing just bold for my face. cry

Hehe
Regardless, I give all the glory to God. It was a really long wait, and it was worth every single second of it.
Thank You to everyone here who in one way or the other contributed to my application.

Here's my Timeline.

Got admitted to Uom to study International Business in October, 2020

Application Submitted - Dec 16
Biometrics completed - Dec 22
NSE Request Letter - Dec 24
Upfront Medicals. - March 24
Medicals Updated. - April 12
Letter of Refusal. - April 27

My application was processed via the normal route. I was denied based on Personal Assets blah blah, cos I know I finished them with my SOP godi. grin

I'm back now and willing to help as many as I can on this journey or lemme just say application grin
I'm willing to go through as many SOPs as I can.
I'm ready to answer as many questions as possible.
Let's all get involved in any little way we can.
For Charles Dickens says, "No one is useless in this world who lightens the burdens of another"

My advice to everyone who's yet to apply or waiting for a decision?
Please do not be scared. I know it sounds impossible but on the long run you'll discover your fear and worry doesn't change anything.
If your application was denied, don't give up too. Keep refiring until you hit your target.

I wish everyone awaiting PPR good news in the shortest possible time.

Believe me when I say this..

It will end in Praises!
Welcome back deomanuel, my personal person, thank you for all that you do concerning my application, I have called severally, sent WhatsApp messages and even mail, all to no avail. As you have rightly said , all glory to God for everything.
I've missed you ooo pls reply my mail, we have alot to talk about.

I tried to convince them in the letter that I am proficient in English and all my education prom primary to masters has been in English. However, I attached proof of registration for IELTS to be written on 18 August. I registered for the IELTS not for study visa but because I intend to apply for PR through EE shortly after I land Canada (the Goal is to become a Citizen before completing PhD). I did not submit submit MBS but attached my funding letter and told them that my studies will be sponsored by the University.

On 23 June, I got scared that my visa may be rejected due to financial reasons and sent MBS through webform. I did not send it earlier because my account balance was less than 400k. I had my Dad do me a gift deed of 2 million on 22 June before I sent the MBS. I also attached my upadated pension statement of account.
On 4 July, I sent my Covid Vaccination completion Certificate (online copy with QR code) through webform.
On 6 July, I sent a webform and appealed for a decision to enable me to arrive early for Fall semester. I attached my confirmation of enrollment letter.

On 14 July I sent another appeal for a decision on my application.
On 23 July, another ghost update and eligibility review started
On 27 July PPR

CHIKACIC:
My people from the bottom of my heart I say THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
As is our slogan: It will go round and end in praises!

Lonnnnnnnng Post Alert!!!!

One of my numerous mantras is: “As long as there is life, there is hope”.

First of all.....TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY!
I choose this moniker “CHIKACIC” meaning: God pass Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC). My story will throw more light.

Personal profile:
I am 43. YES! I am a 43 year old lawyer, wife and mother of three (2 boys and 1 girl).

My quest for visa started way back in 2003/2004; during Law School/after the death of my father/NYSC.

First UK visa application (Visit) was in 2004 - refused.
Second UK visa application (Visit) in 2006 - refused.
Third UK visa application (Study) in 2008 - refused.
Fourth UK visa application (Visit) in 2011 - approved.
Fifth UK visa application (Visit) in 2020 - approved, but wasn’t used cos of COVID.

My interest has always been in the UK, because that’s where I have family members (a distant Uncle and 2 younger sisters), one of whom is my financial sponsor together with her husband and conquering my study visa refusal has always been on my bucket list.
Post 2008, I have continuously applied and received countless admission letters for graduate studies in the UK, but God said no it is not yet my time. God willing, I hope to check that off in my bucket list in the nearest future.
In 2013/2014, US Diversity Visa lottery caught my interest before it was later scrapped for Nigeria (heard we have exceeded our quota limit).
My interest in Canada started in 2015 as per Express Entry, but my scores and funds were low ( family of 4 then).
I gave birth to my daughter in April 2017, which was the year they had the lowest score till date in the Express entry (FSWP) history. (415 in April and 413 in May). My score was fluctuating between 420/414. Unfortunately, I missed that opportunity because I stopped monitoring the program during my pregnancy. I got to know about the scores later in the year. Mennnn, e painnnn me, I no go lie. Since then, the scores has not favored me because of age (the policy of -5 marks after every birthday). So all eyes moved to study visa. The rest they say is history.

BUT I WILL STILL TESTIFY TO KEEP HOPE ALIVE:

First time applicant to Canada.

Upfront Medical: February 10
Submitted online with IELTS: March 1
(This was the IELTS I wrote in April 2019 for Express Entry to expire April 2021). I also wrote another one in March 2021 as the previous one is about to expire.
Biometric Request: March 2
Biometric Completed: March 4
I didn’t notice when my Background check started.
NSE Request for POF: March 5 to expire on April 5 (which I ignored because of UK sponsors).
Medical Passed: March 9

Then eerie silence.......no update whatsoever for almost 5 months. (March 9 to July 21). This platform helped me a lot during this period. You all are the bomb!

I think sometime in May I sent a LOE to Nairobi via web form and email explaining why I ignored the NSE request because my POF came from the UK. Receipt acknowledged, but no official response.

Then in June I did three things:

1. 7th June, I sent an email to Nairobi, Lagos, London, and Beijing offices to know the status of my application, which has exceeded the standard processing time. Got the generic response.

2. Ordered for my GCMS notes via Anon123 on June 25th - yet to receive that. (Now I am very very curious to know how the whole thing went down).

3. June 30th, I sent a mail to the MP representing my school location and on July 14th, I got a feedback from the MP’s office that my Medical and Background checks are complete, and Eligibility is under review.

NOTE: As at the time I got this feedback, there was no update (ghost or otherwise) on my IRCC profile from March 9th (my last update as per Medicals) until yesterday 4:39pm and 4:40pm July 21st 2021, when I got three consecutive emails asking me to check my account for messages.

Na pounding heart/trembling hands I take login ooo.
The first thing I noticed was that my eligibility is under review and I was like oh noooo more waiting. Then I scrolled down and saw application APPROVED!
In front of my husband and children, I went down on my knees thanking and praising GOD, because na in hand I dey/na in hand I carry myself put along with my imperfect application package throughout this journey.
MY PEOPLE, WITH GOD BY YOUR SIDE:
IF YOU CAN DREAM IT, YOU CAN ACHIEVE IT!
IF THAT DESIRE IS STILL IN YOUR HEART NOTWITHSTANDING THE OBSTACLES AND SETBACKS YOU HAVE ENCOUNTERED, KEEP HOPE ALIVE. IT WILL SURLY COME TO PASS.

TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY!!!!!!!!!
Congratulations dear sister.
