Peeps in Lagos camp please how easy is it to get in and out of camp? In addition how easy is it to obtain an exeat?

hi ladies and gents, please what is the easiest way of obtaining an exeat card to enable me leave camp during the orientation weeks? or let me say the easiest way to go out of camp for like 5 days? I want to go attend my graduation.

Now that call up letters are out. Any suggestion as to how I can secure an exeat or at least leave lagos camp during orientation?

Lmao as I plan my service stream 2 no come dey the plan. Now i need take off some days to go attend my graduation. How about exeat on medical ground?

The call up letters seems to be uploaded in batches. When your call up letter is ready for view/download, a email will be sent notifying the prospective corp member. This explains why some people are able to see the "print call up letter" option on their dashboard while others are not

Probably. Apparently the same ompany that designed the WAEC and JAMB portal was contracted by NYSC so I guess they used a similar model.

No idea. Am not even near Abj so the idea of laying a complaint at the NYSC office is totally out. Am hoping that I will be able to access it later in the day

Am having the same issue. Unable to access my Callup letter despite paying and receiving my call up number via email .

It's totally unfair for NYSC to assign anyone to the alien Nov 26th set. Their timetable clearly stated nov 4th to nov 25th as period for the orientation course. I think peeps should reject such actions from NYSC.

How did fellow nairalanders download or at least view their call up letter ?

As I am no longer a student am not sure the uni will be willing to re-issue me a student ID card

As I cant find my university ID card, have you all got any idea on what alternative I can use during the registration phase of the batch C 2014 orientation programme? I hear its necessary to present the university ID card in upon getting to camp.... Please your insights will be highly appreciated

Surprising how Nigerians reject positive change. The world is going digital and NYSC decided to go into a public-private partnership since they were not able to win more budgetary allocation to implement the Online system. I was able to sit down in my apartment in London and complete the registration process online within 10 minutes as opposed to travelling to Abuja and moving from one NYSC office in Abuja to another. Moreover, the 4000 Naira in question is optional. I wonder why we are crying foul. Our protest should have been directed to the federal government for failing to acknowledge the importance of IT in organisations by voting sufficient budgetary allocations to it's parastatals to improve efficiency in governance. But on the contrary we have youths (leaders of tomorrow) yelling in an effort to maintain the status quo thus hindering a positive development. I am beginning to get more convinced that progress in Nigeria has been to some extent hindered by the Nigerian people and not our leaders as we've been made to believe.

All these beer parlour rumours/stories nigerian journalists as well as nairalanders spread without verifying. To tell you why I doubt if there's any element of truth in the story note the following:
1. The former Managing Director of NPDC (mr victor briggs) was never fired. When Dr Thlama Dawha was elevated to the position of GED exploration & production in march 2014, mr victor briggs was redeployed to head IDSL another subsidiary company of the nnpc group (Dawha's position prior to his elevation). To this end, the position of MD NPDC became vacant. President Jonathan simply appointed an MD at NPDC and did not fire victor briggs.

2. Mr Andrew yakubu may have been a victim of the cabal. The position of the GMD NNPC is very political as there seems to be various interest groups. The demands from the different interest groups cannot be met by any single individual and once you can't satisfy a person's demand/interest you become his/her enemy. They will do anything to remove you from office and am almost certain andrew yakubu was a victim of such power play.
3. Mrs Diezani seems to have the confidence of the president and as such he ignores calls from different parties for her removal. The reality of nigeria is that every petroleum minister will continue to receive such treatment/propaganda aimed at seeing the minister out of office. She has the confidence of the president who won't be moved by any allegation against diezani.

LoL am guilty of the whole last minute/fire brigade approach myself. It was on september 1st i returned from my summer vacation and started looking for an appointment date but i was lucky to get everything done

classyjummy: Yes they initially resumed on the 23rd of sept gave me an extension till 14th because of the 28days money stuff that's why so that's y am applyin on d 30th

Abuja is faster by one day or so but you may not be able to claim 30 points due to late submission . However, you can give ut a try as nothing is impossible

Dont think you need the CAS statement though. You only need the number. Alternatively, you can get a copy of the cas document directly from your school

You risk being denied on the grounds of late application. You may persuade your uni to extend yiour latest start date to oct 21st or consider deferring your offer

That[/quote]Why use representatives? The tier 4 policy guidance is available online free of charge. If you applied on the 9th, you should be confident bout getting your application back on thursday

It was loaded with three bags one was tagged abuja, the other was tagged ikeja and the last lekki. Was told the othe two bags will be taken to lagos tomorrow and will be ready for delivery on thursday. So most likely, your status will change on thursday
