Shma: keep deceiving yourself boy. As I quite "As a matter of fact Before any slum shacks were demolished, residents were issued ID cards for a fee of 20 Kenyan shillings (about $0.20). These gave the residents a right to live in transitional housing set up by KENSUP, and eventually in the new towers that would be built where their old homes once stood.
The completed units will be sold to Kibera residents at what UN-Habitat deems to be a below market rate of between 400 000 to 900 000 Kenyan shillings ($5000 to $11,250)." As you keep deceiving yourself kibera slum is currently undergoing massive regeneration project. People living in shank house are being told to vacate and move to affordable houses(the story buildings you see) so to pave way for demolition of those shank houses. In 2025 without fear of contradiction Naijeria will be holding that title. I showed you the development they were doing in makoko where they are replacing the shacks with solar paneled floating buildings and they would create floating parks, schools, malls, markets etc They've created one building and they are planning on putting up a sea wall

You can just see the Kenyans they know they have lost when it comes to automobiles so they are now saying criminals, copycats, trash, non quality please just show us pictures of your cars so then we can decide who is better if this was south Africa we would have gone silent by now but alas we Nigerians are clearly better than Kenyans in the aspect of the car industry all the evidence is here look at the past three pages They have once car company owned by a British man and all they produce is an offroader which made 50 sales Now compare that with Innoson they make public buses, vans, garbage disposal trucks, fire fighter trucks, offroaders, suvs even military cars how can you compare that to mobius like come on common sense should tell you are at loss here |

mtisTheQubit: First congratulations for building em fire trucks an stuff but please for Petes sake just test your jets parts in your planes before exporting them.. Ok have got ths opinion an you will not like it..Stop re-inventing the wheel..coming up with a Nigerian car which will cost more aint helping anyone...stick to what ya good at..drilling oil.. drill it so beautiful so ya can get more cash an attract foreign firms to set up camp in your country..then from there ya can have technology trasfer...if you cant make it, just join them..then like Chinese steal it....This nationalistic driven agenda of showing we can make while we know we cant is just stupid...An its not Nigeria alone.. lets just be smarter on how we use our resources Oil is gonna die and Nigeria needs to diversify and actually you know that ajaokuta steel thing I was saying earlier it would reduce the price from 13 815 dollars to about 5000 dollars that is not to expensive it is much cheaper even And don't get to cockey in the technological scene a Nigerian company bought the biggest tech hub on Kenya, and speaking of tech Yaba or dubbed Yabacon valley is being laid with Fibre optic cables now as we speak and it will be the new home of modern tech hubs all over Africa |

Mkenya2019: First we have 'cute' police cars too - Kenya police - simply lease cars from any car manufactures -any model - but ultimately the majority of cars for real police work are Land cruises. Our CID - plain clothes - prefer Subarus. Some traffic & NTSA (safety) have Peugots - that can outrun you on the road. The top police obviously drives the Prados, Mercedes and any model they want -
Peugots - leased from Peugots - don't dare run from run. https://kenyacarbazaar.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/NTSA-3-696x461.jpg
You don't import a car made for China to Africa - worse Nigeria - without even the slightest modification to deal with Nigerian climate. That is crazy. You need a car in Nigeria that can drive through your pot-holed roads, gullies and such. Definitely you need a 4WD with best shock absorber - the lest electronics etc.
A car is not a coat of paint and fiber.....esp a car for police.
Kenya manufacturers and modify cars for KENYA - TOUGHENED CARS - modified to deal with our climate.
Our only made in kenya car (not badged in kenya) is MOBIUS - it designed for Africa. It has little to no electronics. The shocks will last your a lifetime - made by some Rob - used for rally cars. https://www.standardmedia.co.ke/images/friday/fyfwlmhstkp1xkbwluta5cb03dcceacb8.jpg Innoson's cars are also toughened they have made so many different types of cars they have some of the most resistant and toughened cars you can buy in Africa you think it Is something we buy from China no it actually isn't really What actually happens is that 70% of it is locally made whilst the rest of it is imported from China, Japan and Germany because Nigeria does not produce it's own steel so they have to import that Their cars are actually quality and I am telling you now in the next 10 years Innoson will be selling cars all over Africa and maybe even in some parts of Europe I wouldn'tbbe surprised if their very popular in Kenya because of the potholed and gullied mud roads |

Logobenz0: Look at this bombastic mumu you called IVM crap. Can any of your crappy car manufacturing come close to this ones other African countries are ordering IVM cars product because it's a world class product
Show me your police car manufacturing by a kenyan that can come close to this
Mind you. IVM produce G-wagon.
We don't buy from foreing country. We manufacture and use. Unlike you lazy fools I'm just wondering how you can be dumb enough to say that we should let our companies die and buy from foreign nations tog row their economy provide jobs for their people and let our people die in poverty NO We must patronize local companies hat is why the border was closed so that Nigerians can start producing their own goods and provide jobs they can create 15 million jobs through farming we have not even mentioned processing just ordinary seedlings, planting, watering Nigeria's rice sector is about to boom by may 2020 10 more rice mills will come on stream to produce 15 million tonnes of rice, the current consumption rate is 7 million tonnes leaving us with 8 million tonnes for export hmmmm jobs created money made who's winning Nigeria is going to start producing it's own chocolate saying that they want to stop the export of raw cocoa to foreign companies and rather create jobs at home how many jobs will this create with processing and shops etc 450 000 jobs creates by 2022 ovcurse foreign supply will fall but who's winning us! Ajaokuta steel mine will be fully revived by 2021 and innoson motors will not have to import steel anymore meaning prices would largely fall down it would create 600 000 jobs for the niggerian people added with the mining it would create 650 000 jobs They are building three new deep sea port to so now companies will start docking in Nigeria instead of Cameroon, Ghana, Togo and landlocked countries will start using our ports for all their needs and because our agricultural output will grow so much they will also depend on us for food stuffs Ultimately using made in Nigeria products and embracing locally made goods always entails economic growth, employment and billions of dollar in revenue Do you now understand why the Nigerian government chooses to buy from Innoson rather than just import from other people it may not be the best but it does still work and it is cheaper and creates more jobs |

Mkenya2019: Actually IVM and other chinese nonsense that you're buying your police got nothing on those Toyota Landcruisers. Kenya police used to mostly uses Land Rovers (from UK) and now mostly uses Toyotal Land Cruises - those are cars designed for Africa and are as hardy as anything - and are even used in military.
Why would you arm police with crap like IVM
Toyota Land Crusier 70 series is a beast...and so were Land Rovers.
Before that we had police armed with Land Rovers Defenders. https://nairobiwire.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/GK-1.jpg
Nigeria obviously cannot afford or don't have the brains to source for these kind of cars - and hence insecurity is out of hand. Sometimes your stupidity amazes me why shoukd the government be growing a foreign company when they can buy locally and provide more jobs for the people in the country If you can buy locally then buy locally that is why Africa is not developed because Africans like you think that only imported produce from Europe or Asia and North America is good and will never patronize African companies And I will have you know innoson's cars are made for some of the worst roads in the world some are bullet proof as well in fact they also make jet parts, military cars, fire trucks, garbage disposal they are trying to create employment And the Nigerian government is there buying their products to help the average Nigerian unlike you helping the average Japanese or the average British man rather than your fellow country man |

Abohboy: You see I like how these people never choose to learn the full story
Eko Atlantic was originally just gonna be a sea wall but then a private company said they wanted to sandfill it and develop it that is what we have now
But the sea wall is still under construction they ar going to expand it all the way down to lakowe lakes Beach rather than being a wall it will be more of a sort of stone pier which breaks and weakens the waves to stop the flooding this will be completed in 2023
And save Lagos from some of it's flooding woes because they still need to fix the drainage problem other than that really Lagos will never flood again because these sea walls can survive the strongest storm for the next 1000 years
EKO ONI BAJE O!!!!!!!! OH yeah forgot to mention here is a render for three 38 storey buildings in Eko Atlantic energy saving, smart building and solar panels all there Lagos and Nigeria is advancing and leaving everyone in the dust

samorobo: See dude every coastal cities around the world is experiencing heaving flooding due to global warming . Residents of London, new York, Shanghai, hong kong are complaining seriously and they is nothing the govt can do about it. US just recently approved over $46bn to build wall round their coastal cities and London and every coastal cities around the world are doing thesame.... World bank is about to release funds to tackle this menace in West Africa but it will require the combined effort of all west Africa country leaders affected by this climate issue to put them self forward for it. It is been predicted that by 2050 all coastal cities around the world will be under water and the entire world is this fight together.. we can't loose our cities to the waters.. walls that are built around ekoatlantic and IIBC are things that can protect our cities and we need more of that in a very long stretch..
But what I can't seem to understand is how an inland city like nairoslum will have her CBD a.k.a "your most international spot" flooded every time it rains... That is poor drainage system You see I like how these people never choose to learn the full story Eko Atlantic was originally just gonna be a sea wall but then a private company said they wanted to sandfill it and develop it that is what we have now But the sea wall is still under construction they ar going to expand it all the way down to lakowe lakes Beach rather than being a wall it will be more of a sort of stone pier which breaks and weakens the waves to stop the flooding this will be completed in 2023 And save Lagos from some of it's flooding woes because they still need to fix the drainage problem other than that really Lagos will never flood again because these sea walls can survive the strongest storm for the next 1000 years EKO ONI BAJE O!!!!!!!! |

Kazikazi: Your debt to GDP ratio is above the 60% and world bank have warned you.Your gov stopped employing new folks for 3 years just because u have no cash. While,Tanzania have debt to GDP ratio of about 35%.who is indebted? Remember, Tz is paying cash to buy many stuff like jets, while you can't afford to pay cash for dreamliners!
Starvation have killed many in Turkana. Why don't u see that? Yet,you decided to do nothing about it.China gave you food aid.Qatar,a desert nation also donated food to you.Still you don't see that! While a united republic of Tanzania is selling you a million tonnes of cereals.again we are selling 700,000 tonnes of maize to Zimbabwe. All these crops have been cultivated by Tanzanians whom you call them lazy. The oranges you enjoy in Kenya are imported from Tz,cabbages, onions, beans, and other foodstuffs you use are from united republic of Tz! Yet,you claim we are lazy, while you who starve and waiting for food aid is a hardworking?
Tanzania isnt your league! We are not starving! We are exporters of foodstuffs. A poor nation is the one which can't feed herself.
Your witchcraft theory can't be proven. What we know is,The biggest churches in east Africa are in Tanzania. That's why we have been blessed too much! Your jealous won't change that! You mentioned uraniums, and gold, gas and diamonds? Dude, add these.. Billions of tonnes of coal,Tanzanites which is only found in Tz,copper, nickel, niobiums, rare earth, ruby, green tourmalines, nyererenites, paladiums, millions of tonnes of iron, helium gas, tonnes and tonnes of graphites, and soon to be announced an oil deposits! I can't mention those tonnes and more tonnes of industrial minerals like bauxite, kaolins, limestones, calcium oxide etc! Now get more jealous!
We don't have A levels in grade 12! You don't know our education system! Mind u,Tanzania isn't an English speaking nation! Ours is a Swahili speaking nation. Judge us on our ability to write Swahili! And again,we were not colonized by British! Go to other British colonies and compete with them on how to construct an English sentence. We weren't colonized by that tiny island. Fron what I have heard in the next 10 years I suspect I could be investing in your iron, oil and gas industry something that sadly I have to admit Nigeria has failed at so I am looking to invest and start a business where I produce steel, gasoline and produce electricity using natural gas which Tanzania apparently has on abundance |
