The propensity of many xtians to deliberately and stubbornly refuse to see, recognize, say, listen to, or even remotely pretend to identify with even what looks like a semblance of truth never ceases to baffle me. When i once voiced out this concern to a former xtian (now atheist) friend, he attributed it to prosperity preachers who don't emphasize on good moral teaching on their pulpits.

Don't divert our discussion from the legitimacy of hijab into that of the Bible. I can take you on on both successfully based on facts and figures from the Bible. However the issue at hand is the legitimacy of hijab or veil in the Bible which you initially averred is not xtian/Biblical but upon been supplied with incontrovertible Biblical verses you quickly resorted to diversionary tactics. This won't wash with me. Let you disprove these Biblical verses on hijab before we delve into the legitimacy of the Bible, the supposed sonship of Christ (pbuh), etc. I am more than happy to engage with you intellectually on these issues coz I have the evidence at my fingertips.

1 Corinthians 11:5, says that “Every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonours her head, for that is one and the same as if her head were shaved.”

B) Gen 24:65

So clearly, it is not xtian for any woman not not cover her head in prayers or in public as far as the Bible goes. U can confirm these and other Biblical verses on veil.

If the university were Islamic and a xtian student was suspended for not attending prayers in the mosque this would have been sensationalized, with low lives crawling out of their caves and spewing trash on Islam. However, because this does not align with their warped and jaundiced opinions on Islam, they have taken tactical sabbatical leave on Nairaland. In theory, muslims are painted as intolerant, in practice, some ppl truly take the crown.
