Ok let me go straight to the point. So I'm currently interning under a certain engineer and the job is almost finished (3 months and 2 weeks out of the normal 6 months).

He tells me that the next site is at Abeokuta far from where I live. Do bear in mind also that the is a none payment industrial training and I've tried to renegotiate the agreement but to not avail.

So I am planning on focusing on learning structural engineering softwares and if time permits, Data Science. Here is the problem, I don't know if this path will in any way affect me during my defense (since I will not be able to complete the training period)

it depends on the firm you are working with. if you work for a small firm you earn about 75k monthly.

if you work for a mid size firm, you earn 100-120k
while multinationals pays very well.

The 2021 FUTO Marathon Olympic Competition was successfully conducted and concluded on the 25th of Sept. According to the SUG Director Of Sports ALUTA BILLY SMART, He had earlier said that he had no dought of the competition not holding, though little challenges were observed at the beginning of the competition, one of which the competition didn't start at the agreed time, 6:30 but rather it was delayed till around 7:30. Other challenges were also observed too.

Before the Competitors kick-started, the competition was observed to be fully Equipped. Visual Equipments like Camera's, and Drone were made available, as useful personnels like The Nigerian Red Cross were also present.

The Competitors took off from Futo Back Gate, headed straight to old SEET roundabout then towards Ezibodo junction through the back of workshop, turned round and headed straight to Futo Main Gate. From the Main Gate they headed back repeating their movement till they got to the road beside Optometry Department, passed under the Otammiri Bridge and headed towards FUTOWA. From there the Competitors diverted into Umuchima then headed straight to Asabaka Square which was the finish line. Indeed it was a very long and unimaginable race to embark on. The distance of the race from start to finish is 8.26km.

Though it took a little while for the Competitors to end the race as few persons fainted, some gave up and some located shortcuts, it finally ended with laughter and congratulations between the Competitors as the Winners were fulfilled.

The annual traditional Zulu Reed Dance has taken place virtually for the second time in a row as a result of COVID-19 in South Africa.

Only 37 maidens were invited to participate in a scaled-down ceremony (to commemorate 37 years of the festival) at the Zulu monarch’s royal palace in northern KwaZulu-Natal, on Saturday.

The new Zulu monarch, King Misuzulu KaZwelithini, is commemorating the role that his parents have played in upholding the traditional Reed Dance. Both his parents died of Covid related illnesses earlier in 2021.
